How to connect an IP camera to cRIO-9025?

Hello

I have a cRIO 9025 with two ethernet ports. I want to connect an IP camera for the cRIO to capture images at regular intervals. I followed the procedure mentioned in this post: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/10867, MAX, but still cannot detect the camera. I downloaded the drivers mentioned in the above page. Could someone please suggest a solution?

Thank you.

Hi Pranjal,

Acquisition of images on a cRIO is very limited right now. The only supported RIO acquisition is of IP cameras by Basler and axis. These cameras use the IMAQdx pilot. Take a look at this linkand look under the section Fast Ethernet (IP) for more precision. Since you are using a Panasonic camera, the driver doesn't know how to recognize.

In addition, with the right type of camera, IMAQdx drivers must be installed on the host computer and the cRIO to properly set up the acquisition of images. Take a look here for details on the appropriate measures to implement. I would like to know if I can help with anything else.

Best regards

How to connect a camera with firewire?

    No connector, no card expresscard...

    Hello

You can also use an adapter USB to Firewire which allows you to connect device firewire to USB port of the laptop.
USB 2.0 is 480 Mbps interface and FireWire is 400 Mbps but interface so, theoretically, USB 2.0 should be faster, but that's not true. Firewire is faster according to some tests. However, there aren't big differences, so I think that the use of this card must function.
There are various one USB to Firewire adapter on the market. Simple Google.

Your options include the use of the USB cable provided with the camera or you can remove the SD card from the camera and insert it into an SD card reader if we're a part of your computer.

If you are using the USB cable, the device should appear in devices and printers (Start menu), and browse the camera and copy videos or images from the camera. This can also be done via Windows Explorer.

  • How to connect a video camera (not a webcam), in a way that Flash player sees as webcam

    Dear all,

I'm working on a project of interactive/augmented reality for a show, where viewers trigger a video by sitting and standing at some point in a room (like the BBC Frozen Planet). My problem is that the image of the webcam we used to capture the audience is not up to the task and produced a really poor quality image. Now I'm trying to fix a video camera with recorder Mini Blackmagic, but Flash Player (standalone) 17 does not recognize the entry as a webcam. So is it possible to connect an external camera flash takes care of everything? Otherwise, can anyone recommend a great webcam, it's SIGNIFICANTLY better than Logitech Pro 910? Thanks in advance!

  • How to connect to an ip camera?

    Hello people,

I develop a Train RC to monitor an accelerator of electrons, with an IP camera to stream video to the host PC (since it is a prototype, I bought a generic camera). I read a lot about how to acquire video of these cameras, and it seems to me that the best way to acquire these images is to use an active X control, but since this is the first time that I work with CompacRIO and Labview, I don't know how to open communication with the camera. I think I do as 'TCP connection open', but I cannot understand how to connect its use. I'm probably going to send two channels, one with the login, and the other with the password. Does anyone know how to do?

After that, how can I send the video to the activex control? Maybe I should use the block open Automation and nodes of property/Invoke, is - that correct?

I have the camera recorded on windows library, so I can see and select from Labview. By default, the camera uses port 80 to communicate with the PC.

If you would like more information to help, just tell me and I'll post.

    Kind regards

    Vitor

In fact, I already solved this problem. This camera is a fake Foscam, so I do not know the manufacturer (probably Chinese). Anyway, this ip cam has an .ocx library, and what I did was to call using activex and used an invoke node where I found a function of connection. Now I can acquire video from the camera using labview.

    Thanks for your concern!

  • How to connect a camera Digital Video through IEEE 1394 on my A50 port?

    Hello
I tried to connect a video camera to my laptop SA50-109 through port IEEE 1394... but the laptop doesn't recognize any camera...
Although the shows 'DV-in' camera when I plug the cable witch is DV (4-pin to 4-pin) cable...
is there something I need to do before to make it work?
    any ideas... Please?

    Hi Isabelle,.

I think that the normal login procedure is: -.

    1. connect the firewire cable to the camcorder.

    2. connect the other end to the laptop.

    3. turn on the camcorder (in play rather than camera mode).

    4. Windows will detect the camcorder and will make available as input source for your capture software.

  • Satellite P100: How to connect to internet via WiFi?

I read a post above that says that the sticker on the bottom of the laptop ' wireless network: no w/l ' means that there are no installed wireless.
I'm fairly certain that my Satellite P100 has installed. I customized my phone, ensuring that I have added wireless for the school.

I have an on-off switch for the wireless on the case. Also, when I entered a zone wireless for the first time, a program (Q-Connect) came.
I reinstalled Windows XP and wonder if it is a software that is missing (which has been the case with other similar programs audio).

This could be the operator error?
    I don't know anything wireless.
How to connect to wireless internet?

    Hello

First, you must be sure that your laptop has WLan card to 100%. Go to the Device Manager and check the network adapters section. If you will see card WLan (intel or atheros) then you unit definitely has the Wlan card.
To use the WiFi network, you must configure your Wlan router. Consult the manual.
You must then activate the Wlan switch on the side of the laptop and use the combination FN + F8 to select the WiFi network.

For the other steps, you can also check this forum wireless. Here you will find a lot of descriptions.

When you buy the new printer you will get the installation with driver disc and some applications that you can use for editing and photo software configuration. Install this package and later, when you want to print some documents checks the list of all available devices. Choose your printer and I hope that you will be able to print your documents.

Of course, WLAN must be configured on your printer.

I have too many WIFI printer and the whole Setup was very easy and very simple to do.

  • 6009 USB + encoder Lika I41 - how to connect?

    Hello world

I'm new to this forum and I'm new to Labview so. I started to learn a few weeks ago and I have to solve a few problems. I am not able to come up with my own, and that is why I ask. I went through very simple LabView courses and now I'm in more serious trouble.

I have first - the NI USB-6009 device and an incremental encoder Lika I41-h-500ZCU46L2. He has 8-cable and is described here: http://www.lika.pl/pliki_do_pobrania/QR%20I28_I40_I41.pdf . And now - I know the basics on the encoders so the description of cables is understandable to me. I don't know how to connect it to the USB-6009? I need to do a VI that will count the pulses and the output of the camera each X impulses. But I want to start by counting pulses.

Any help will be MUCH appreciated.

    P.

Hi you can connect power 5V to encode. Connect to the encoder output to PFI0 encoder for the event USB6009 GND GND line do VI count on PFI0 and USB6009.

  • How to connect incremental encoder to NI9411?

    Hello

I need to connect an incremental encoder to a NOR-9411 digital input on a chassis cRIO module to use for high-speed triggering.  I'm having trouble to know how to connect the wires needed to the encoder until the 9411 correctly.

The son of transport the following signals:

    A red
    B Green
    Z Brown
    + V blue
    OV-Orange

I'm fairly inexperienced with the connection of the sensors to LabVIEW gear, then please let me know if I can provide more information on my installation.

In addition, attached is the datasheet for the encoder.

    Thank you very much!

    Alex

    Hi Byrd,

Thanks for the post and I hope that your well today.

I'm afraid I'm not totally sure what is your problem.

The NI 9411 manual can be found here: for additional reading.

The manual explains how to connect unbalanced devices on the 9411.

    page 12:

"An example of asymmetrical device is an asymmetrical encoder. Connect each of the encoder signals (phase A, phase B, and)
the index) to one of the pins in a pair of pins of DI. Figure 5 shows the connections for an asymmetrical encoder. »

In labVIEW, you can then create a DAQmx task to read all digital lines.

Hope this helps to get started you,

  • How to connect to the database

I use labsql (and quite new to him m) and the server Mysql 5.1.I wanted to know how to connect to the database without changing the name of the dsn from the tools administrative/ODBC 5.1 driver manually. I want to install exe in several PC and it would be a great help if I could make the connection directly but my Vi.

I went through several forums and came to know that 'Provider = ProviderName; Data Source = DatabaseSource; Initial Catalog = DatabaseName; User = username ID; Password = password', should solve the problem. But where in my case I m still confused. The connection string above does not sit well with me.

    Can someone help me please.

  • How to connect an additional monitor for the gateway all-in-one?

Hello you all, I have a question I hope you a lot more smarter computer people can help me with. I have a friend who has a gateway all in one model #-ZX4931. It has a VGA port on the back. It has been also updated for Windows 10. I'm house sitting and dog looking for her in a few weeks

I want to plug the additional monitor which by the way, it's a Dell (sorry) to work on a project I'am doing right now. I try to use the screen that she has on the All In One and I didn't like how my project came out looking

I see on the back of its All In One, it has a VGA port. I Google several times and different words from Google, which told me that you cannot plug an additional external monitor for all in one PC, so I'm confused as to why there is a VGA port, if you couldn't plug the external monitor

in any case, can someone please help me and give me details on how to connect an external monitor, in addition to its gateway all in one model #-ZX4931

Looking at your specific model, I think you can try to connect an external monitor via the VGA port.

Once you have connected the secondary monitor using the VGA port, press control + p and main Windows logo if you are able to extend or clone your desktop.

  • I connect my Canon camera, wiaacngr.exe opens a window asking me to select the program to start. But it offers only two options: M/S Office Word and scanner and camera wizard.

    original title:wiaacmgr.exe

I found a lot on the Internet about wiaacngr.exe not opening not or refuses to recognize the camera.  My problem is almost the opposite!   Whenever I connect my Canon camera, by USB, my current laptop (Windows XP Pro SP3 of v5), wiaacngr.exe opens a window asking me to select the program to start.  But it offers only two options: M/S Office Word and scanner and camera assistant, neither of which I want to use.  If I close the window...  Not much, but it's a nuisance.  I would be happy if she has proposed to launch work stations.  I then click on the box "Make this every time" and will never see the window.  Otherwise, I'd be happy to remove the program completely.  Can someone tell me how to achieve one of these?  S ' Please!
