How to connect desktop (HP Pavilion Slimline s5220f) PC to the TV?

I would like to connect this PC to desktop (HP Pavilion Slimline s5220f) on television.  What should I do to make it work? I would be grateful if you could give me an idea or a suggestion. Thank you very much.

When you ask for help, it is better to provide the brand and model of all hardware items (TV, HDTV, screen, etc.) in your application.

Your computer has only a VGA output. VGA is a bad choice to use when connecting to an HDTV. Please consider more an adapter USB-to-video, as EVGA UV + UV39 to connect your TV to your computer.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

How to connect my aspire laptop 7741Z TV to watch the live broadcast?

Your laptop has a HDMI port? It would be the best way to do it. The TV should be detected automatically as a monitor.

Then you can right click on your desktop and choose screen resolution. This will allow you to extend your screen on television (part 2 of an extra screen wide), mirror of your display on TV (so both show the same thing).

If you'll just be listening to video, mirroring may be the best option. If you want to do other things at the same time, choose expand and put your live stream on the 2nd screen/TV. Then, you can use the built-in screen as you normally would.

  • Update video integrated desktop HP Pavilion Slimline s5220y

I want to update my card into a PCI Express X 16 graphics card. I have a desktop PC HP Pavilion Slimline s5220y with a 220W PSU. What I need to know is a few things of different. I need a GeForce 8600 or ATI Radeon HD 2600 or better to run the games I want to run. I need to know if I bought only those listed and was not better or more would I need to replace/upgrade my power supply? And if I need to replace/upgrade my diet that anyone know what power I would need and how many watts. I also need to know how many pins would be needed on the power supply. HP could not tell me how many pins my current diet requires, so I will need to know that before I improve my diet I know that power will install correctly with the pins.

Any help would be great... Thank you!

I have yet to see a graphics card that will not require a power supply of at least 300 w (also offered HP slimline pcs with 250W power supply and a graphics card).
So if you want to upgrade you should first upgrade to your power supply.
For this you need to check if a common sold psu (which normally has an ATX size) could fit into your slimline.

  • Very slow PC desktop HP Pavilion Slimline 400-224

HP Pavilion Slimline computer to desktop PC this 400-224 was soon out of the box. I've had it for about 4 weeks now and he has a lot of problems. Slow, freezes and hangs up. Internet is going in and out. The internet access in the taskbar icon flashes. I went to the Device Manager and the Device Manager continues to Flash. When it hits takes sometimes a few minutes before something comes along. I updated the computer and that did not help so I did a cover of the complete plant and she just got more of a pain so much more pain. I read on the line where many are have this same problem with this model. I'm ready for any help one can offer.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s5220f: BOOTMRG is missing

I recently came across this message when my computer starts after the HP logo screen. Before that happened, HP asked me to run a diagnostic equipment. He said that my hard drive is damaged and asked me if I wanted to restore to the original factory setting. I said yes, but realized, she would erase all my files. I immediately cancelled out of the process. I think that may have damaged essential files. When I press F11 and try the system restore, it error. Should I leave a disc? If Yes, where can I get this drive?

    Computing: HP Pavilion Slimline e5220f

    OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

Error during a system recovery attempt: "Recovery manager cannot restore your computer by using the original image. Please contact HP support. "Error code: 0xe0ef0003.

    Hello:

All first if you have files you want to recover before restoring the operating system, you can make this bootable CD and using the graphical interface, you can explore the hard drive and you can copy all files/folders on a portable hard drive.

Connection and operating instructions is less.

To order a recovery media for your PC, click on the link below and then click on the link order recovery media.

You can also make your own Plains windows 7 installation media if you can read all 25 characters of the product key windows 7 on the Microsoft COA label because of your PC.

    Here's how...

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-Windows-7-SP1-ISO-from-Digital-River/

Alternatively, you can recover your files if do you your own install of W7 disc and not partition or format the drive and let windows install on the current C:\ partition. It will create a Windows.old folder.

After W7 install, you can click the Windows.old folder and copy all your stuff on a portable hard drive.

When you are sure that you have copied all the files from the windows.old folder you can remove it by running the disk cleanup utility and click the downstairs cleaning system files box to the left of the disk cleanup window.

Check then the windows.old folder should be deleted when you see it in the list of objects to delete.

You can even use the method above to retrieve your files, have your PC run, order the recovery disks and use them to make your PC as the day it came from the factory.

So, there you have it... an index of possibilities.

    Hello

I bought my HP Pavilion s5510y at my best buy here in town and

I wonder if it would be possible to update my graphics card on my desk?

    Hello

The cards that you mentioned does not fit and supply energy needs is much too high for a closet slimline PC.

Maybe it's time to think about a replacement PC if you want a big go fast video card.

  • Pavilion Slimline s5510y: network driver, the system disk

One of my friends has a slimline s5510y who can no longer connect to the internet.  She uses a wired connection and the wired connection works with other computers, modem and physical connection is good.  Their system disk has been lost, so they cannot reinstall their Windows 7.  I can get a link to download their network driver (for the download to another computer and then transfer them pilot for the troubled slimline) and then then I get a phone number or a procedure to order a replacement system disk?  Or the other solution would be appreciated and both even more so.  Thank you.

The first pilot did not work, but at this time, I concluded that the system had been ruined by a virus (website technical support who had wanted to make them pay for a solution to a problem that had caused the tech support Web site (I think).  I had via hp forum procedures to perform a recovery through the recovery HD partition.

A lot of time, 250 + Windows updates later, but the s5510y is speaking again to the internet and as a new machine.  Only a few tips to moor.  Recorded by the forum and support site.  Appreciate your help and encouragement.

  • How to connect dwyer SERIES 629 differential pressure transmitter to the acquisition of data 9219 and read the signal?

    Here is my sensor
    Pressure sensor

    Here's the DAQ data sheet:

    ACQUISITION OF DATA NOR 9219

    Here are my issues:

First of all I don't know what is LO and HI exactly in the DAQ 9219 material.

Second, I don't know what pin code I should connect the DAQ sensor signal wire. PIN 4 or 5 pin? The sensor has three pins, and I guess I should connect the other two wires to the power supply.
Thirdly how to calibrate the sensor. In labview choose voltage in the wizard?

I'm pretty new in this acquisition of data and I need your help.

    Thank you

    Hi SilasIII,

Hmm well 3 sons are probably on the ground, the power and the return signal. The datasheet for the sensor says:

First of all, you need to know which model you have (4-20mA, 0 - 5V or 0-10VDC). HI refers to the return signal, LO essentially means the land of the food that feeds the sensor. Then, you must get the 13-30 VDC supply. I don't think this should be too complicated and can be a simple wall DC power. You can learn how to create a custom in DAQmx scale. I hope that this is a starting point.

    Kind regards

    Eric

However, you can restart the computer that would disconnect the other accounts.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1204: replace the front serial bus

OK, so all first off I am new to the fourms to HP. Suffice to say. But 2 days ago or so I got up from my office to watch TV and I was still wearing my helmet and they were always connected. So when I got up I almost tore the helmet on the plug and now the front plug on the usb hub is heavily damaged. I was wondering if there was a way I could replace the front serial bus.
