How to connect Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 5.1 speakers?

Hello

I want to buy Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 (with processor i7, 8 GB RAM and SSD 256). But the main problem is that I don't know how to connect to System 5.1 surround.

Currently, I have Dell Studio 1555 with 3 audio ports, so it's very simple, but this little laptop is not 3 ports. Is there another solution?

Thank you

Hello

I bought a SoundBox USB breakout on amazon widget. won't cost that a tenner delivered, entry and telephone support microphone, output headphones plus 5.1 output and optical output.

You can spend a little more to get a compatible system 7.1, but I got it only for entries to be honest (recording/mixing of music).

Method 1: Run the network adapter Troubleshooter

    1. right-click on Start, select Device Manager and navigate to the network cards > network adapter

    name.

2 right click (or press and hold) the network card, and then select Uninstall > remove the driver

software for this device box > OK to confirm that you want to uninstall.

3 after uninstalling the driver, click on the Start button > power > restart.

  • Lenovo Ideapad z565 - how to check and activate the virtual technology (VT) in BIOS

I tried to use virtualization on my Lenovo Ideapad z565 laptop. The laptop is running only Windows 7 Home premium 64 OEM installed. It's an AMD processor dual core. I tried to get some VMWare images into VMWare workstation running on my laptop. Images VMWare has always seem to crash when you try to start them. I read on various forums that this is probably due to virtualization (VT) 'No' enabled in the BIOS. It's supposed to be set in the "Advanced" section of the BIOS. The problem is that when I check my BIOS (F2), the option of virtualization technology (VT) is not in my BIOS. I have a very limited set of BIOS options. I read that the manufacturers of these machines 'block' the user to access advanced options in the BIOS (for reasons unknown to me). In addition, there is a utility distributed by Microsoft, called the "Hardware Virtualization Detection Tool support" that you can download and run on your computer to check if the hardware support for virtualization (VT) is enabled on your computer. I ran this and it is said that VT 'is' activated on my machine. However, I have seen other users, this tool is known to report false positives... which means it reports that VT is enabled, even if it is not. I have also read that these laptops Lenovo, this hardware virtualization is "off"by default. So I think that's my problem. Material to virtualization is disabled in my BIOS, and I have no way to access to 'permit' or turn it on. Someone out there has any experience with this problem, and how did you work around it? Is there a utility that will allow me to enable hardware virtualization in my BIOS? If so, can you provide me with detailed steps to do this? I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

  • Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 - problem disk MBR/GPT (or BIOS/UEFU)

    Hello!

Someone would be kind enough to tell me how I can disable the UEFI BIOS of my Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 mode?
(I can see very little things and options in the menu of the BIOS for the moment).
It is necessary, as I want to reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium on my computer and during installation there is an error message - while choosing the partition where to install the system: "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is a MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows cannot be installed on GPT disks. »
And I read somewhere that disable UEFI mode would solve the problem.

Furthermore, I have ideas or suggestions for this problem.

There are two solutions for your problem.

CAVEAT! The two ways in which I am proposing are going to ERASE ALL OF YOUR DATA on YOUR HD! If you what you want to backup, copy before doing so.
First of all, easy, is to delete all partitions on your drive through the windows setup utility. Then, windows will offer to convert GPT disk.
Or, if windows is not this "automatic" way, you can convert GPT disk using diskpart.
To do this, use this manual to access the http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/682-command-prompt-startup.html of the console

    Then, type following commands

    DiskPart

    Wait until it loads, then

    LIST DISK<-- this="" will="" list="" currently="" connected="" disks,="" you="" should="" determine="" which="" of="" the="" disks="" is="" the="" one="" on="" which="" you="" want="" to="" install="" windows="" and="" remember="" its="">

SELECT DISK <0> <--you should="" replace=""> <0>with the number you had on the previous step, in most cases, it would be 0

    CLEAN

    CONVERT A GPT

    CREATE PARTITION EFI SIZE = 200 OFFSET = 1024

    SELECT PARTITION 1

    FORMAT FS = FAT32 QUICK

CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY SIZE = OFFSET = 206848

    SELECT PARTITION 2

    FORMAT FS = NTFS QUICK

That should be all) after that, you should be able to install windows on your hard drive.

  • Adapter network on laptop computer Lenovo IdeaPad U350, works do not since upgrading to Windows 7.

    Hello.
Am running windows 7 on a laptop computer Lenovo IdeaPad U350, but experiencing problems with the network adapter. Wireless connection works, but I can not connect via the direct cable connection. All of the updates were made and in device, the network card Manager (Broadcom 802.11 g network adapter) seems to work fine, BUT still I can't connect. I downloaded the driver from the manuvacturer (Lenovo) and installed. He still does not!

Any ideas how to solve this problem? I am currently connected to the internet via a wireless connection, but need a wired connection.

    PLEASE HELP :)

Here's a solution - eventually had to resort to using the Ethernet coz I had to transfer massive amounts of data and using the WiFi was just a bad idea.

Agree with the above the drivers Lenovo doesn't have just a whole bunch of stuff (unzip, etc, etc) and curiously does not seem to go through the process to INSTALL anything... disappointment.

For those of you who know how to get to the old plant 'Disc' (Yes, they still exist in Win7), you can get your hands on the drivers here http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/netlink_k57.php--est comes with the good old INF files to tell the system what and where to install

Go to disc (fuck..... another Google process [Bing since I'm on a MS Web site] the answer)...

    0 have the Admin rights
    1. open your browser.
    2. right click on computer / my computer > properties > Device Manager
    3. I hope that the offending devices (Ethernet in this case) shows prominently in the other category
4 click on it > properties
5 looking around for the the driver update button
6 browse my computer for training software
    7. just choose from devices... (blah blah)
    8 have Disk (tada!)
    9. then point just where you have unpacked the driver with the permission of Broadcomm files.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Timmsey,

-You are able to boot to the desktop?

The issue may be caused if you have changed the hardware and software of the computer settings.

Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, etc.) except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue. Then download software updated driver for the device.

  • Lenovo Ideapad U310 speaker problem

    Hi all

My U310 of Lenovo Ideapad has had problems of speaker,

The headphones work correctly, but the built-in speakers that are Awefully located inbetween as the hinge and the base of the screen do not work.

I first thought it was a problem with the headphone jack that could have cut the circuit internal speaker because of the incorrect removal of the headphone jack, but it is not true because I've noticed that its a problem with the angle I keep tilt of the screen.

On the passage of the screen at any angle above 90 or 100 degrees, the speakers cut in and are activated once its below 80 degrees.

I'm a little worried about the words on it?

    Kind regards

    raisedadead.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE!

    Thank you Alaa,

The problem is now solved, mainly the mobile hinge was obstruction in fact the thread that connects the speakers, according to the service technician. Need to replace the wiring had been damaged by the hinge. A manufacturing problem small on the wire does not correctly connected to the hinge. Thank you
