    Any help or pointers greatly appreciated, I have do this config after a long interval on Cisco of the last time I was working it was all PIX so just need to expert eyes to let me know if I'm missing something.

    And yes I don't have a domestic network host to test against, all I have is a switch that cannot route and bridge default ip helps too...

    Hello

    The first thing you should do to avoid problems is to change the pool VPN to something else than the current LAN they are not really directly connected in the same network segment.

    You can try the following changes

    attributes global-tunnel-group RAVPN

    No address RAVPN pool

    no mask RAVPN 192.168.200.1 - 192.168.200.254 255.255.255.0 ip local pool

    local pool RAVPN 192.168.201.1 - 192.168.201.254 255.255.255.0 IP mask

    attributes global-tunnel-group RAVPN

    address RAVPN pool

    no nat (it is, inside) static source NETWORK_OBJ_192.168.200.0_24 NETWORK_OBJ_192.168.200.0_24 static destination NETWORK_OBJ_192.9.200.0_24 NETWORK_OBJ_192.9.200.0_24

    In the above you first delete the VPN "tunnel-group" Pool and then delete and re-create the VPN pool with another network and then insert the same "tunnel-group". NEX will remove the current configuration of the NAT.

    the object of the LAN network

    192.168.200.0 subnet 255.255.255.0

    network of the VPN-POOL object

    192.168.201.0 subnet 255.255.255.0

    NAT (inside, outside) 1 static source LAN LAN to static destination VPN-VPN-POOL

    NAT configurations above adds the correct NAT0 configuration for the VPN Pool has changed. It also inserts the NAT rule to the Summit before the dynamic PAT rule you currently have. He is also one of the problems with the configurations that it replaces your current NAT configurations.

    You have your dynamic PAT rule at the top of your NAT rules currently that is not a good idea. If you want to change to something else will not replace other NAT configurations in the future, you can make the following change.

    No source (indoor, outdoor) nat Dynamics one interface

    NAT source auto after (indoor, outdoor) dynamic one interface

    NOTICE! PAT dynamic configuration change above temporarily interrupt all connections for users on the local network as you reconfigure the dynamic State PAT. So if you make this change, make sure you that its ok to still cause little reduced in the current internal users connections

    Hope this helps

    Let me know if it works for you

  • Tecra 8000 sees no PCMCIA network card

    I don't get my Belkin network card Wireless PCMCIA connected to my Tecra 8000.
    That's all new win 2000, including all updates and I don't know that the pcmcia slot is working very well.

    The problem during the installation of this card is that the tecra does not see the network card.
    Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem. Network adapter is Belkin F5d7010 54 Mb.

    Try to change some settings in the BIOS.
    In the configuration box, you can set the configuration of device option to all devices.
    In addition, in the area PC card, you can try changing the compatible option CCIP or CardBus / 16-bit.

    Play with these settings and check if a this will allow the card.

    PS: Have you installed all the drivers that should be shipped with this card?

    Hi, we purcahsed a new ASA 5505 and try to configure IPSEC VPN via ASDM; I simply run the wizards, installation vpnpool, split tunnelling, etc.

    I can connect to the ASA using the cisco VPN client and internet works fine on the local PC, but it can not access the local network (can not impossible. ping remote desktop). I tried the same thing on our Production ASA(those have both Remote VPN and Site-to-site VPN working), the new profile, I created worked very well.

    Captures we can see packets going from the pool to the internal LAN, but we do not reply back packages.

    The routing must be such that for 172.16.10.0/24 packages should reach the inside interface of the ASA.

    On client machines or your internal LAN switch, you need to add route for 172.16.10.0/24 pointing to the inside interface of the ASA.

  • How to connect a LAN Segment to the network host Workstation 7

    Hi all.

    This can be a really newbie question, but I'm quite a novice on vmware

    I have set up a team in VMWare Workstation 7 with a few machines virtual all assigned to a single LAN Segment. Everything works fine, but now I need to have internet access in my virtual machines. How to configure the local network segment to see my host network, so I can internet ping?

    Thank you very much!

    OK - see here - I have matched to your vmx file so that all the entries of ethernet0 appear in a row.

    That's what you have now:

    ethernet0. AddressType = 'generated '.

    ethernet0. ConnectionType = "Charlotte".

    ethernet0.generatedAddress = "00: 0C: 29:c3:36:10.

    ethernet0.generatedAddressOffset = '0 '.

    ethernet0.pciSlotNumber = "33".

    ethernet0. Present = 'TRUE '.

    ethernet0.pvnID = ' 52 4 c 5th 98 70 6 82 a-1 b - 0f 97 5 m 76 2 8 a 85 eb ".

    ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000".

    ethernet0.wakeOnPcktRcv = "FALSE".

    Then, I list all the settings that you should NOT touch:

    ethernet0. AddressType

    ethernet0.generatedAddress

    ethernet0.generatedAddressOffset

    ethernet0.pciSlotNumber

    ethernet0. Now

    ethernet0.startConnected

    ethernet0.virtualDev

    ethernet0.wakeOnPcktRcv

    Regardless of the settings of they - leave it alone - don't change to it for this task. After that only these two lines are left:

    ethernet0. ConnectionType = "Charlotte".

    ethernet0.pvnID = ' 52 4 c 5th 98 70 6 82 a-1 b - 0f 97 5 m 76 2 8 a 85 eb ".

    These two are those who configure the local network segment.

    Remove them and replace them with this single line

    ethernet0. ConnectionType = "nat".

    In case you want to break up the team to remove this line

    inVMTeam = 'TRUE '.

    and delete the *.vmxf file in the same directory.

    For more information on configuring network in the vmx file read my site

  • Cannot figure out how to connect HP Photosmart C4680 to my network without Setup CD

    Currently, I moved to a new apartment and I am now trying to set up my HP Photosmart C4680 printer. I have problems connecting my printer to my network wireless with my MacBook Pro computer. The current version is 10.6. I downloaded and installed all necessary drivers and software from the Web site: HP's Web Site. When I go into the installation process he never asked if I want to connect the printer to a wireless network. I just blazes through the installation and said: "Congratulations!" You have successfully installed Photosmart C4600 series." I called HP and they said they can help but its going to cost money because my printer is no longer under warranty. I hope someone could shed some light on my situation.

    So I thought to it. My girlfriend and I just moved into an apartment together and I both are "identical" printers in my office. After a full day of trying to get the first printer to work, I looked at mine and saw a sticker on the front of it wireless. I watched his and realized that his is not the sticker wireless. Then I looked at the model numbers and realized his is a HP Photosmart C4680 and mine is a HP Photosmart C4780. So what I did, I used his MacBook Pro (Version 10.6.8) to download the software for the HP Photosmart C4780 from the HP Web site. I have connected feel to the Mac via USB and begin the installation. During installation, it asked if I wanted to set up the printer to a wireless network. I said "Sure!" He asked for the network I want to use and then set up the printer to the network. Then I had to go to "Print & Fax" in "System Preferences" to add the printer. After that, I was ready.

  • How to connect SQL Dev to the local database?

    Hi all

    I have a local database on my laptop. I connect to the database using direct connect without the listener and tnsnames.ora, because I stopped him.

    How can I connect my SQL Developer to the database using direct connect?

    Thank you

    Probably what he finds through explore paths such as path.

    If on Windows, via the path to the files of Oracle binaries, probably it will look 'default' ORACLE_SID HKLM\Software\Oracle\ "tone" and spawn then oracle.exe with the value of the SID as an argument.

    For a more definitive answer, we can wait until the documentation is being updated with the connection type "local". :)

    If you need to connect to a virtual private network in windows startup and that you do not want to have the thrust of the user to connect or enter the password follow these steps:
    (1) on the VPN connection screen, select 'save this user name and password for the following users.

    3) click 'Properties' on the screen of VPN connection
    (4) on the 'Options' tab, uncheck the box:
    -Display progress while connecting.

  • TZ400 W Can´t connect wifi clients to the local network

    Hello:

    I have a new TZ400 W, guests wifi and LAN can connect to WAN without problems, but can´t of wireless clients to connect to the LAN clients.

    The two areas (LAN and WLAN) are areas of trust (Trust Interface) and gateway AV, Anti-spyware, IPS and App Control is activated.

    WHERE´s the problem?

    Thank you

    Jesuss salvation,

    Did you check to make sure that there is no WLAN LAN deny access rule? By default, even if you check the box for the trust Interface, there is a deny WLAN to LAN rule.

    Thank you

    I connect to my network of business using Secure Mobility Client of Cisco AnyConnect.  Once connected, I can no longer print on my printer LAN attached and other local resources.  I use the router E4200 of Cisco/Lyncsys on my local network and can re - connect to storage on the local network by putting in place of Port Forwarding port 21 and the sharing of MS Windows FTP folders.  However, I can't connect to a client of the Terminal Services by transferring port 3389.  Is there a way to connect to the local LAN after scoring in the VPN connection.  I can connect to sites HTTP/HTTPS regulars and more than another type of connectiins, just not my own local resources.

  • messages on local network

    I want to be able to send messages on my network, the command net send seems to not work with vista. How can I send messages through my local network. I have 3 computers a vista ultimate a basic and a xp pro.

    You know, I've been a Microsoft User/Tech hard matrix for many years now, and I'm a loyal user/customer...however, why they keep removing some features of Windows or Office?

    In any case...

    After that some searching around, I found that Vista now has a new way to do it-the command MSG (I suspect the msg command has been around before that... but this is the first Windows OS where net send has been deleted). Here's the syntax:

    MSG {UserName | SessionName | sessionid | @filename | *}
    [/ SERVER: servername] [/ TIME: seconds] [/ V] / [W] [message] username identifies the username specified.
    name the name of the session.
    Session ID of the session ID.
    @filename identifies a file containing a list of usernames,
    sessionnames, and the SessionID to send your message.
    * Send the message to all sessions on specified server.
    / Server: Server server contact (default is current).
    /Time:seconds delay of time to wait for the receiver to acknowledge msg.
    /V display information about actions underway.
    /W wait for response from user, useful with c
    message Message to send.  If none is specified, invited to do
    or reads from stdin.

    If you want to send a single message on the server named "Server 2003" it would look like this:

    C:\msg /server:Server2003 console "server will be rebooted bit - Please save your work as soon as possible!"

    Now I can restart my servers without giving someone a bad surprise :)

    Hope this helps to answer your question / solves your problem - if it doesn't, please Mark my answer as the answer... Thank you!!!

  • Dreamweaver won't save site local/network settings

    MacBook Pro OS X 10.8.2

    Dreamweaver CS6 version 12 build 5808

    1st site definition: I want to test files locally, then 'put' on my test server.

    2 definition of the site: I want to take the file from my local folder and "put" it on my production server.

    I set up the 2drives on the Mac... my test server and my live server.  Readers were mounted on different mount points so that they do not overwrite each other.

    I go in Dreamweaver and select "manage sites". I go to my local folder for the first screen... the next wants to screen (Server tab) the path to the test server.  I have on the correct server (verified!) and click on "choose".  The path indicated in the box in the "Server" active tab is correct... BUT when I click on 'save', CHANGES in path to my production server.

    Absolutely, it will NOT save the information that I've specified.  I connect to my server via local/network.

    I renamed dreamweaver Pref files and deleted the contents of the cache site...

    Nearly an hour on the phone with Adobe, as well as the tech told me that they were not trained to help with local/network configurations.  What is interesting is the fact that when I navigate on my test server to "manage sites", I can see my files, expand my folders, etc.  It is not a question-Dreamweaver just will not save the information that I enter the permissions.

    Would appreciate any help I can get on that...

    Nancy, I appreciate your time, but it looks like we have found something that will work for us...

    OS X doesn't seem to know what to do with mounted drives, if they have the same name.  For example:

    IP: 192.xxx.xxx.22\MyServer

    and

    IP: 192.xxx.xxx.23\MyServer

    When they are mounted, even with different IP addys and different mount points, OS X only 'sees' the share name and seems not to take into account the mapping on the part of Awesome!

    Re-appointing one of the network shares was NOT an option and the option Alias on OS X help not at all... OS X sees that the name of sharing, even when the Alias is well... renamed as an alias... go figure!

    Since we were unable to find a way to solve this problem of OS X, we ended up creating a second network share for the target folder, using a different name.  Problem solved.
