  There are many, many programs available on the Internet that will record everything that is playing through your sound card.  Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) should be able to do.  You don't the PPT file convert an audio file, you save what he plays and save it as an audio file.  It won't take days.

  An Outlook Express address book is a .wab file. An IDx file is a video file. I don't know how you saved it as such, or a way to convert it.

  What devices you use to synchronize the music files?

  If you have saved music files in a folder, you can search the file by the name of the folder.

  Then proceed as follows:

  1. open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer.

  2. then connect the external device to the computer.

  3. scroll through the songs you want to transfer to the device. Right click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "send to." Scroll the options "send to" and select device.

  If you can't see the music files in the Windows Media Player library you can erase the database of Windows Media Player and Windows Media Player cache of database files by following this link:

  Music has become a huge problem for me.   My car CD player only supports mp3 format.  I wish I could burn my CD from which I get used various locations, so that I can play in my car.   Music is expensive nowadays and the multiple formats and thus loss of music bought and in the cloud, or itunes 'cannot locate the source' will not play, and when devices in the event of a failure or who are upgraded drives me crazy.  I have more music in my life and I wish that we would go back to portable music as CD.

  I assume you want all your music stored in one place? The default value for this should be 'my music' (which is located in the folder 'My Documents').

  1 if your music is broadcast all over the place so I guess the best way to find all these files is to click on Start then on Search

  2. now click on "all files and folders" in the left pane.

  3. in the box under "all or part of the file name" type *.mp3 and press the Search button.  If you acknowledge that all files that appear as your music files, then press and hold CTRL of your keyboard and then left click on each desired music file.

  4. now, with all of the selected files, click change and then click copy.

  5 open the 'my music' folder, and then click Edit and Paste.

  Now repeat steps 1-5 but instead of search search *.mp3, *.wma , (which is the default for Windows Media Player 11 music file).

  Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft community.

  I understand from the description that you want to have music files, sorted so that the files are played in alphabetical order.

  It would be useful that you could let us know what application you use to read the files.

  You can open the folder that contains the files and click on the "Change view" button in the menu bar. Click the bar above, order the names that will sort the files alphabetically. Clicking on new will result in the files displayed in the opposite direction in order alphabetical order.

• How to customize the order of music files in the folder (no not with artist, album, #, genre or classification tabs)

  I'm trying to transfer a playlist from Itunes on a folder, but I can't understand how to keep the order of the songs as I had them in the Itunes playlist.  I can't get files .mp3 alphabetically for the artist, album or genre.  Or according to numerical order by track number # or rating.  Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

  Here's how to change the default template for a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70819-windows-explorer-folder-view-settings.html.  Default behavior is to select the model based on the first type of file placed in the folder (you must choose something).  Vista sets the folder type template according to what are the types of files in the window and the settings display window Explorer. This will show how to reset the display settings for the Windows File Explorer, disable Automatic folder Type Discovery (which is I think what you want)and increase the folder display the cache to make Vista do not forget the display settings, the folder type template, the size or the position of a specific window for when it was still closed to the location of specific path.

  It does not work with the Sub record under, Open with, open in a new tab (Internet Explorer), etc... dialog windows of type through the good File menu bar item. These don't seem to be able to have their size or their position to recall. For the latter, you can use the free program http://autosizer.en.softonic.com/ to resize them.

  Here is another article on how to modify the columns in Windows Explorer and sort in Vista: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/108665-column-customize.html.  This will show you how Add, Remove, move, change the widthand change the sort order of the columns in Windows Explorer in the way that you want.

  If the file is in Motion 4.0 or an earlier version, you can import the Motion project in After Effects using the file > import > import After Effects Pro command. This does not work for Motion 5.0 projects, since Apple has radically changed the format of project file.
