How to convert an image to grayscale 8 bits unsigned 2D table

Hello.

The "Color Utilities' Vision Development Modulde function contains the ColorImageToArray IMAQ, who only has the 32-bit unsigned integer as output values. Y at - it an option to reach a value of the integer not signed 8 bit at the exit?

Please check this box. what you did is not correct (according to me).

-Please use formulations appropriate for the types of images

32-bit color

8-bit gray

-Intype casting you use RGB (U32) conversion, Image type should be grey it according to your requirement. If the image is in color, why do you need cast once again he in RGB?

-After plan color extraction, it is no more color(32bit) of image. There is no point in using image color table. use IMAQ image for table instead.

  • Convert an image to grayscale 10-bit color

    Hi all

I am a programmer of experience of labview 8 years, but new to the procession of the image or NOR-Vision. And now, I came to a problem with the conversion of the image.

I have an image acquisition card that acquires 1 k * 1 k 10-bit grayscale image, I saved the image acquired in *.raw (binary) format, and now I have to convert these images to bmp (jpeg, png, or diff) format. When I try to use the VI "Imaq save 2", I got an error saying something like "unsupported image type. After searching this forum, it seems that if I have to use an image of color type save as bmp format, but to receive my 10-bit RAW files, I first need to create an image in grayscale U16. So, how can I solve this problem?

    Thanks for your suggestions!

My guess: you're referring to the 'writing IMAQ 2.VI of the file' as I do not know everything "IMAQ save...". Screw.

The 'writing IMAQ 2.VI of the file' does not support writing 16-bit BMP. You can take this information among image types supported this VI, see here. Look at the pictures above, the designation of VI: 'IMAQ writing file BMP 2' says that he accepts "U8" and "RGB32 image types.

    Proposal: Write a PNG image.

I guess that LabVIEW code, you have published work to complete the task. It's a little different from what I posted. But I am not too concerned about that as long as things are working.

The code works now. The problem is there:

Instead of Log_Imaqdx_Error, it must be Log_Vision_Error.

How to print the image in grayscale as PDF as black process only instead of CMYK? I'm on FM10

    Ed,

What file format you save the image in? It is important, as indicated by error. If you left it as a PSD, then FM performs a conversion to RGB. A TIFF or EPS file properly remains blank (i.e. on the plate of K). Other formats, such as PNG to grayscale are actually indexed color and solve RGB when FM creates the PDF file in the presence of plates of Spot and where the components are mapped to the CMY plates also.

Here is a sample generated using SaveAsPDF with the CMYK option with the same 'gray levels' file saved in the format PNG, TIF and EPS in Photoshop (Note how the PNG isn't all there, on the plate K):

  • How to convert specific images on my Clipboard to text once paste the picture on my .pdf document?

Hey Adobe experts, I could really use your help.

I have some screenshots of school I pasted on OneNote. These screenshots have a large amount of text that I could use. I created a large .pDF document where I saved my notes and text. Now - how to convert the SPECIFIC images that I stick to the text document? I use the word 'Specific' here because I know I can run OCR on a blank page without any text. But how to do OCR on an image

It automatically happened a couple of times when I tried to save the document immediately after I pasted the image - when I was under "Edit PDF" I was able to edit and change the fonts of the text. But how can I do this at will? Is there a special button somewhere?

P.S. I already tried to OCR - but it's only limited to pages without already "renderable text".

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC; 8.1 Windows machine

    Hi SinNombre,

If you are referring to perform OCR on a page with the image and the renderable text, it is not supported. However, you can use the following workaround for the same thing:

    1. print the PDF document to Microsoft XPS Document Writer or accessing the file-> export to...-> Image-> (an example of TIFF or PNG format)

2 convert the output created in PDF format. This PDF file contains all the texts and images in the form of images.

    3. run the OCR on this PDF.

    This should solve your problem

  • CS6 Illustrator: How to convert a mesh (white-> grayscale) (white-> alpha)?

I just finished a bunch of graphics, using meshes almost entirely degraded to various levels of transparency. I used 'screen' for transparency mode, and each mesh point is a color to grayscale from white (bright spots) to black. This combination has reached a "brilliant effect"; black and gray colors appear as transparent when my drawings are shown against a form of color.

However, when I removed the colored background of form, the black and gray gradient points, originally published under different levels of transparency, white appear now as the pixels in grayscale. I'm really a beginner to Illustrator, but it surprised me that the colors of black and gray screen/gradient appears differently without background.

Attached is a simple example: a gradient mesh appears with transparency on a red background. But when we remove the red background, a black color appears. I would like to convert the different levels of black at different levels of alpha, as they appear when figure on red background

Is it possible to convert red for alpha, or grayscale pixels at different levels of white / transparent, without having to click on each gradient mesh point?

Effect on a background of origin. (this is the desired effect of transparency, only I wish it were the same thing without a static background color)

    Screen Shot 2014-06-18 at 4.10.47 AM.png

But when I slide on the background color, the gray pixels replace transparency. (I wanted to keep the transparency where the gray pixels in the gradient mesh screen)

    Screen Shot 2014-06-18 at 4.10.54 AM.png

Without a background color, any export in PNG will be black pixels, instead of transparent pixels. (I wanted to here the transparent pixels).

    Screen Shot 2014-06-18 at 4.10.59 AM.png

I am software developer, so the reason why I want to remove the background while preserving transparency gradient is then I'll be able to dynamically insert background running colors, or insert other images between the background color and gradient. Yes, it's true I could generate all combinations of colors, but in my case it would mean 36 export images from Adobe Illustrator, as opposed to the image export only 6. Package 36 images would also increase the space required by my compiled application.

Is it possible to keep the desired transparency effect, when you export for use against any background color?

You can try and apply as an opacity mask to a white circle.

    Hello

This here is my situation. I'm using with LABVIEW to program a CPU in the following way:

    3. I connect an array of digital output ports to an external, independent, four quadrants, 10 - bit DAC. The part is AD7533, and I hope I can use it in bipolar configuration.

My question is, how do I convert the number of sine wave (or triangal, sqr, etc.) in a table of values of T/F can I stream through my DAC and output a sine wave signal?

I tried number Boolean array with the calculated value of sinus, but do not give me any bits of hard.

    All suggestions greatly apprec.

Post what you have done so far. Are starting you with a a U16 or I16 whole bit (or more)? How do you do the scaling between +/-1 and an integer. It should be just a matter of using the table number of Boolean and then using a subset of the table to reduce up to 10 items boolean. If you are starting with an integer I16, it may be a matter of taking the element of corresponding table of the sign bit and the 9 elements that correspond to the less significant bits, to put together to make an array of 10 elements.
