  I tried cropping, PDF printing, etc., but Acrobat X don't let me do.

  I have not looked at the differences but (until AA9) there are two options in the Page Scaling - Fit Printable and printable shrink; You can constrain the proportions where the other has not.

  Is there an advantage to the scale of those in InDesign - I can't wrap my thoughts (tired) in favour. AA will scale and the size of the end, printed paper, will be 8.5 x 11 in.

  OK, I hope that you need a final document to 8.5 x 11.

  Generally speaking, you print to PDF with a 8.5 x 11 size Page and scale.

  You note that Acrobat X does not print to PDF. It may be this bug in OSX 10.6 combined with Acrobat X removing capacity. I work in Mac 10.4 only occasionally AA8 and 9

  Several years ago, iTunes would classify songs like PROTECTED file format.  This block of songs [900] now posed problems for their use for current playlists because they will NOT work on devices such as my audio system with SONOS.   How can I convert these songs into another format of file without loss of quality of format?   My only option that I can think of is to convert a CD in MP3 format and then reload.  This seems to be a bad choice, because it would be down the grade quality and take a very large amount of time and resources [many discs CD] to accomplish.  Is there a software out there to convert these files.  I searched and not found yet.  I also called Apple and they had no solution for me at this time.

  A subscription to Match ($25 per year) iTunes will give you the possibility of re - download songs protected in iTunes no longer protected format (256 kbps AAC). Read this Apple Support article. It is mentioned that this option may not be available for all your songs protected, do not know what the criteria here is. This will / might actually be an upgrade of quality for your purchased version (128 kbit/s in the early days). The other option would be to burn regular CD audio from your protected albums - not MP3 CDs such as the format of the file won't change - and re-rip them one at the time. If you save money without loss, you will have no loss of quality, if you save in any compressed format, there will be a loss of quality due to additional compression. 900 songs will be about 90 CD to rip and burn.

  I doubt that this is possible because Bluray discs are mostly protected against copying.
  But if you have the Bluray m2ts file on your HARD drive, then you could try the tool called convertXtodvd. But I don't see that the reasons for this
  I mean that you will lose the quality of film converting the blueray to dvd.

  Why do you do this?  You are just tyranscoding to a format with loss to another loses fidelity. See:

  In addition, most of the people - especially if you use iTunes to listen to music on the computer speakers or using standard headphones with an iDevice - will not be able to tell the difference between mp3/320 and aac/256.  Overall, the perceptible difference between mp3/320 and aac/256 is far, far smaller than between these and any coding lossless... and there are many combinations of recorded music and the ears of the people for which even this difference is insignificant.

  VLC - not really a converter but will do a bit on the menu export.  Can be slow to be converted and there will be a learning curve.

  Explore online converters when you download a file in a format and download in another.

  I do not know if your computer can run Audion 3 I think I used to use it to convert WMA.

  Music is expensive nowadays and the multiple formats and thus loss of music bought and in the cloud, or itunes 'cannot locate the source' will not play, and when devices in the event of a failure or who are upgraded drives me crazy.  I have more music in my life and I wish that we would go back to portable music as CD.

  I usually use Windows Media player to RIP CD, that I find at thrift stores.   I have my brother gave me, on the PC that is in all sorts of types of music files.  I found a job online converter and it is, according to me, so thank you guys for suggesting that.  Have tried 3 different ones and finally found one that works in the last one.  I think my brain might need a bit of adjustment, of our days, (won't tell you music I have on CD, would seriously date), no kidding, but probably my PC could also use the setting.   I also have itunes for Windows, but have hardly used it.
