How to copy an email to my address book in a new list that I create?

I have created a new list for email and you want to be able to select e-mail addresses from my address book existing. I don't seem to be able to do this very basic thing. Y at - it something I don't know?

If you usually make your new list and then display it in the left column, then you can drag (copy) any address in this list.

    Hello

    Windows in Windows XP address book has been replaced by Windows Contacts in Windows 7.

    If you have performed a custom installation of Windows 7, please visit:how restore personal after having performed a custom Windows Vista or Windows 7 installation

    To get the address book from Windows XP to Windows 7, you need to export the list of contacts of the Widnows XP computer first and then import the file to Windows 7.  If you want to export the address book from Windows XP and import it into Windows 7, please see the following steps:

    a. launch Outlook Express in Windows XP and click on file > export > address book

    b. export the address book to a text (.csv) file

    c. Select Save the location and all the contact information you want to export, and then click Finish.

    To import contacts in Windows 7, go to the link below and follow the steps:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/import-export-or-change-the-format-for-contacts

    Note: You may only be able to restore the data from Windows XP to Windows 7 If you have performed a custom installation of Windows 7 without formatting the hard drive. If you have formatted the hard drive during the installation of Windows 7, you cannot restore the data.

    I hope this helps. Let us know the results.

    Thank you and best regards,

  • My motherboard has exploded and I have the hard drive. How can I copy the address book for a new installation on a new computer from the old hard drive?

    I have the old hard drive in a USB enclosure and connected to the computer again. I have installed firefox and you need to have the address book (critical) copied and inserted information from address book on the new computer. I hope that there is a file I can replace easily?

    Firefox send an e-mail, it's strictly a web browser.

    If you use Firefox to access your e-mail, you use "webmail". You must seek assistance from your service provider or a forum for this service.

  • How can I copy contact of "Personal address book" entries to a list subsidiary without having to type 500 individual entries?

    He is about to be a death in the family. I need a list of all members of the immediate family, but must not contain * EACH * entry in my personal address book, or my collected addresses. Is there something like an installation drag - move or copy - paste to accomplish this task?

    See this article for more information about how to create a mailing list.
    When you send a message to 500 recipients you reach a limit imposed by your email provider.

    What your correspondent need or want?

    It has well established standard for the exchange of contact information is the vCard that encapsulates many of the fields commonly used in a Contact entry.

    If a vCard file is suitable for you and your correspondent, this add-on:

    https://NIC-NAC-project.org/~kaosmos/morecols-en.html

    has a nifty feature for sending cards in attachments. Then your correspondent can probably just add to her address book. If you copy the simple details, such as name, address, e-mail address phone no, then the person has put everyone in his address book by hand.

    If you open the mailing list in your address book, you can probably drag each item in the body of a new mail message. But it's more work than necessary for you and the recipient, which will need to manually add everyone in his address book.

    With this module, you should be able to open the mailing list by selecting it in the address book, and then use ctrl + a to select all, then right click and select 'Send as vCard'; It will open a new message with all the attached selected Contacts.

    Lists have generally a standard presentation, so a list in the e-mail client is rarely useful in another. If you use Thunderbird, you can use this module to export the list to a .tha or THM file that could import another user of Thunderbird.

  • How can I change the default personal address book address book?

    Whenever I click on an email address to email and ask to add to my address book, the contact is added to the personal address book. How to change that so that the new addresses will be added to another book?

    I have the sfhowes undefined as the solution, after a declaration of jestrader as he clicked the button by mistake.

    I don't think that there is a way to define a different default address book. There is a demand for this feature to be added, and it is always open.

    A way around this might be to move all your addresses in other address books and use the personal address book as a contacts inbox. Once from time to time, go through your address book staff, triage, and place each entry in the address book should be in.

  • Why I get messages that some e-mails are scams when I already entered these emails to my address book?

    Often, I get a warning message in Thunderbird that "this email can be a scam", and yet I already added this email address in my address book, so supposedly than Thunderbird should know that it is a reliable email address. Why he did this, and how can I do this function works more accurately? Please explain also basically also perhaps, as I'm not a very excitable person. Thanks in advance.

    Thunderbird scam detection has no regard to whom the mail is to decide if it of a scam or not.

    It has only 2 settings on and outside
    Menu (alt + T) tools > options > Security > E-mail scams

  • How can I remove the Option of address book ALL my address books?

    I start a business of pharmacy of my pc, run two other e-mail accounts. Recently, I have now all address books with my total emails all handsets. THAT I'M NOT AT ALL.
    My address books worked as I am satisfied that three separate address book now they are all together when I run Thunderbird and it's frustrating because I can't turn off the feature.

    As with your last updated two of my five group emails now have gremlins in causes them another headache that I can't send these stores important information weekly.
    The gremlins are involved e-mail addresses DO NOT WORK, oddly enough, now I have to sort and reload all of their email addresses in a new group.

    Thunderbird is now causing me headaches I wanted no and a lot of frustration.

    The address book is an important source of complaints. The State of developers, they are working on it, but yet the complaints come on this forum.
    My suggestion is to go back to the last stable version which was v31.8.
    I disabled because I never upgrade on the changes of the major version until they get the bugs worked the auto updates.

    Old version can be found here.
    http://FTP.Mozilla.org/pub/Thunderbird/releases/

    This page seems confused, but you can find the version and click this folder, then find the operating system and click on that. And select the language. The last page has the .exe file to install.
    In my case, it would be...

    31.8

    win21
    EN-US
    .exe

    Somehow, I lost all my contacts! How can I add the sender of an e-mail to my address book on a base with a single click. I think I tried all avenues without success. Did I miss something? Thank you

    When you view a message in a tab or message pane there is a star to the right of the sender. If the star is filled with color, they are already in one of your address books. By clicking on an empty star, he added to the address book. By clicking on the filled star opens the dialog edit contact to fill in more details.

  • How to print labels in my Thunderbird address book?

    I want to print mailing, as Avery 8164 labels, an addressbook or a mailing list in my Thunderbird addressbook. How can I do?

    Thunderbird has the ability to print an address book or e-mail.

    Thunderbird is not the correct software to do something like printing labels. You must use the MSOffice package or OpenOffice.org (free) see link: https://www.openoffice.org/

    Using OpenOffice.org Basic you can choose to connect to an existing database, and then select the Thunderbird addressbook. After the backup at a suitable location, you can then use OpenOffice.org Writer.
    File > new > labels
    Select the saved database filename.odb.

  • How to get the Pic of the address book Contact gave a phone number

    Hello

    How can I access the Blackberry address book and retrieve Contact's photo?

    I tried:

    String phoneNumber = "1234567890";
    Vector contactList = new Vector();
    contactList = Phone.getContactsByPhoneNumber(phoneNumber);

    except with a real number, of course. However, if I keep this code, I get an error saying ClassNotDefFoundError or something like that. on the line of Phone.getContactsByPhoneNumber () .

    Is there another way I can get the pic contact associated with a single address book contact?

    Later, I'll probably use this code to get the photo of contact:

    Contact contact = (Contact) contactList.elementAt(0);
    byte[] byteStream = contact.getBinary(Contact.PHOTO, Contact.ATTR_NONE);
    EncodedImage contactPic = EncodedImage.createEncodedImage(byteStream, 0, byteStream.length);

    So as you can see, I just need to get in contact for a specific contact record.

    Thanks for any help.

    If anyone is interested, he will get the peak of contact contact, based on the phone number. It assumes there is only one contact for this number, so if there is more than one, it will get the peak of contact for the last contact only, because the loop will overwrite the previous photos.

    BlackBerryContactList contactList = (BlackBerryContactList) PIM.getInstance().openPIMList(PIM.CONTACT_LIST, PIM.READ_WRITE);

    // Get a list of contacts that match the phone number (I only want last 8 digits only)
    Enumeration _enum = contactList.items(inputNumber.substring(inputNumber.length()-8),BlackBerryContact.TEL);

    while(_enum.hasMoreElements())
    {
        BlackBerryContact c = (BlackBerryContact)_enum.nextElement();
        if (c.countValues(BlackBerryContact.PHOTO) > 0)
        {
            byte[] photoEncoded = c.getBinary(BlackBerryContact.PHOTO, 0);
            byte[] photoDecoded = Base64InputStream.decode(photoEncoded, 0, photoEncoded.length);
            EncodedImage contactPic = EncodedImage.createEncodedImage(photoDecoded,0,photoDecoded.length);
            String picType = String.valueOf( contactPic.getImageType() );
            // If you want to store the photo as a HEX String
            String hexPic = byteArrayToHexString(photoDecoded)
        }
    }

    FACT!

    When you view the contact, how we can tell which address book that they belong to?

    When I try editing, you cannot change the addresses that they belong to.

    I don't know that I'm not the only one. Search here... nothing yet... at least I'm not

    Fans of Blackberry super thanks!
