  Sounds to me like your files is of variable image files that are not compatible with the first.  Search for "Handbrake".

  If you click Display > pods > list of topics, you should see the pod Willam speaks. And inside this pod, you're able to press Ctrl + A to select all subjects. And it is certainly a valid way to associate several topics in the Master Page.

  Here's another one. If you look at the recipe for the presentation of unique Source of WebHelp, you should see an option that allows you to associate a master to all subjects Page as the result is created.

  To my knowledge there is no method available to export a Master Page. At least, not of the user interface.

  When you create a Master Page, you create a file with the extension of. HTT. When you view the pod of Master Pages, try a right-click on one of the. You see the HTT files. You should see an option in the context menu titled "Explore". Click on this option and Windows Explorer should open to the location of the file where your Master Page files.   Regarding your first question, we could think that the drop down menu panel Pages might have a command that you would release a selected page of the master, but apparently not. However, if you select the page and go to the layers panel, you can display the Master Page layer in the bottom of the stack. You can set the visibility of the layer or its components, or go to the menu drop-down in the layers panel and choose Delete Master Page layer.

  Regarding the second question, I don't think that it is possible for a page master to "adapt to its content. Per, I'm guessing that you mean to respond fluidly to the other elements on the page, whether they are long or short, etc. It is a property of the web pages, where everything is "outstanding". But Fireworks uses a different system.

  I'm still new to the feature Pages myself, but have you tried the options "Share layer" menu drop-down in the layers panel? These could offer some of the benefits of the feature of the master page, but with more flexibility. The symbols are also something to consider when you want to repeat the elements in a document.
