  For example, I downloaded a few PHP snippets, but I do not see how to transfer to Dreamweaver to include these in my own pages?

  Copy / paste do not seem to work.

  If you copy the code and paste it into your source view, it should work without a doubt. PHP pages need to have the .php suffix rememeber, and they work locally if you have a set test server in place locally.

  About using the window of code snippets (if you plan to reuse the code often)...

  Paste the code into a blank html page and then highlight it and click the button in the window of code snippets to add it as an excerpt.

  From here out, you just click where you want the code to go on a page and double-click the code snippet in the code snippet window.

  Or are you talking about something else?

  Your homebrewed extracts are in your configuration hidden folder.

  1. put hidden your OS files

  2. under Windows, navigate to the OS (c) > users > your name > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > Dreamweaver (older version) > language > Configuration > copy the Snippets folder
  On Mac, go to OSX > Macintosh HD > username > library > Application Data > Adobe > Dreamweaver (older version) > language > Configuration > copy the folder of excerpts

  3. go to the same place as above in your new version of DW and paste excerpts in Configuration file

  Don't know where to go for the workspace of InDesign, can ask who in the forum ID: InDesign

  I got IDOMElement of the document UIDRef and imported to the code snippet. Here's the code-

  ( tStream is the IPMStream of the code snippet that I'm importing)

  This code above is able to import the extract with success on the first page of the active document, but I can't be imported into current page instead. So to do this, I tried to get IDOMElement of UIDRef of the current page instead (logically, I thought this will import the excerpt of the current page).

   InterfacePtr<IDOMElement> documentElement(currentPageUIDRef, UseDefaultIID());

  But the result is still - the documentElement is not null, but the code snippet is imported to the first page only.

  Maybe the concept of IDOMElement is not clear to me, but I find that no documentation in the SDK Guide too. Can someone explain to me what is an IDOMElement and how to import a snippet of the current page?

  have you tried the IDOMElement of the propagation or layer? You can't place items on a page.

  I didn't know the difference between these two methods - my google search for 'extension' led me directly to the old tutorial mentioned...

  And, Yes, I had to search long enough to find the 'object' extension on the fly on the menu...

  Now, I adapted the code referred to in the dreamweaver_cs5_extending.pdf for the creation of such an extension of command - and, wow, it works... with 'copy' the text selected in the extension form.

  So, thanks again! Now I'm on the right track

  Break the problem into small steps:

  Step 1. All separators (periods and asterisks) convert the asterisks.

  Formula in B2 (fill down)

  = SUBSTITUTE(A2,".","*")

  Step 2. Find the position of an asterisk in each cell.

  Formula in C2 (fill down)

  = FIND("*",B2)

  Step 3. Extract everything to the right of the asterisk.

  Formula in D2 (fill down)

  = RIGHT (B2, LEN (B2) −C2)

  Step 4. Convert the text to numbers re using the VALUE function.

  Formula in E2 (fill down)

  VALUE = (D2)

  This table has a header row and footer of the line, so the SUM in E9 apply to all cells in the body.

  If your hard drive of your laptop doesn't have? If this is the case, what do you mean by the "recovery partition is ok? I doubt that this laptop has two hard disks, so if you are able to see this partition of your hard drive may still work.

  You will need a set of recovery disks to restore the partitions on the new drive. If you can start Windows, which you can probably not with a dead hard drive, you can follow these steps if you can get into Windows.

  If you are unable to boot into Windows, you need a set of disks. You can order it directly from HP. The number of the United States / Canada is 1-800-474-6836. If you are in another domain, you must visit HP's Support around the world to find contact information for your region.

  It creates two files, each with a .bar file, this type of file, I can't run it on the 9900 Simulator but a .cod file is required to run applications on the sim card.

  Have you used Blackberry Webworks SDK for smartphone or Tablet SDK? The .cod files should be located in the subfolder OTAInstall of your output folder if you are using the Webworks SDK for Smartphone

  Found this; the caveat being there are the extracted files separate code for each version of Animate, I currently use both CC 2014 (4.0.1) and CC 20141 (5.0.1):

  I created two versions as of symbolic links to a common folder to codeSnippet in my creative cloud folder.
