How to create smoke / smudge effect

harry potter blur inspo.jpg

I tried with the smudge tool as well as motion blur, but I can't seem to do the same!

Someone at - it other advice?

Thank you

Jess

Something like that, which was a combination liquefy to enlarge the mouth (honest my daughter's mouth isn't very big). Then 3 layers containing his face dirty each differently and the other had an effect applied to the mask, the other two cloud a round gradient.
Finally, the opacity of the layer has been adjusted.

  • How to create water ripple effect?

    Hello

I tried a lot of different tutorials on how to create a ripple effect of water, similar to the picture attached to this post. However, none of them came close to what I want.  Redfield offers a free plugin for Photoshop (Windows), but unfortunately, she also don't give me the same result desired thin, slight undulations.

Does anyone know a good tutorial / plugin / program that might be useful to me? Thank you!

You might want to try the plugin 'Flood' of Flaming Pear", it gives good control of the waves, ripples, etc. and will easily create what is shown in your attachment.

I would like to create a sunburst effect as in the attached picture. I want the torch to be the largest to the smallest (from top to bottom). Please guide me how to create it. Thanks in advance.

Start by creating a form of circle with a color of outline and no fill color. Turn the dotted line and then increase your line width until it meets in the middle. Here is a screenshot. The parameter will be different depending on the size of the circle begin you with that. When it looks good, go object > decompose the aspect and the object > Expand to convert the race forms.

I can't understand how to create the same type of effect (completely in the wording) as indicated in the text of the image above. I'm new to Illustrator, and any useful information would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    You can:

    (1) in the tool box, set the fill to none;

    (2) in the appearance palette dialog box, click Add new fill;

    (3) with the new fill selected / highlighted in the main window of Apperance palette, apply the gradient.

In the case shown and similar, you can click the gradient in the Toolbox instead of filling Uni, then change the colors in the palette degraded for each stop end of levels of grey, white and black for the right colors in the color palette (RGB or CMYK), then add stops with intermediate colors. you select / Create to stop clicking in the gradient bar, and you can move the stops in ClickDragging or by setting the percentage values.

The image looks like a little green at 0%, blue 50%, red 755% and flame red / yellow 100%.

  • How to create a spherize effect?

I need to create a spherize effect in Illustrator.  I tried the Funes Inflate and Fisheye.  They give no details.  The effect is not limited to a domain specific, even using a mask of clip I see many examples of Stock houses, so there may be a plugin out there that could help.

    I use Illustrator CC 2014.1.1

    Thanks for any help.

  • How to create a special effect to "scrub" and "the wheel".

New to Captivate. Recently bought 7 Captivate. I'm trying to get an object 'Add effect' similar to the "wipe" (left) and the animation effects of "wheel" found in PowerPoint. I want to simulate manually draw a line of underscores in the text. I have an image .png (transparent background) red line hand drawn I want to appear "wiping" from left to right. The "stretch" (from left to right) effect found in 'Add effect' of Captivate is not look right; This is obviously a "stretch" instead of "cleansing".  Similarly, I would like to hand - draw one circle or oval around certain texts or other objects to draw attention to these elements. The animation 'wheel' in PowerPoint works perfectly for this.

Is there a way to Captivate? Perhaps a variant of one of the built-in effects that I missed? Camtasia Studio has "sketch motion graphics' built-who does as well.

To create a fading effect, you might be better to use the masquerade instead of the slider widget.  Just animate the mask object using movement of Captivate.  This will give you a realistic effect of wipe.

See examples of effects with the widget of masquerade mask here:

  • How to create such an effect in Photoshop CS6?

    Hi all

I'm not a great expert in Photoshop, but I don't know how to use it. I hope I chose the correct community for that matter.

I want to create a similar design to something that I found in the internet. I have an image with a white background and a black graphic on top of it.

How can I get a similar result, as you can see in this picture?

What filters do I need? What are the steps?

Or do you have a link to a tutorial on the internet, where the steps are described?

Or is there available actions that I could charge for free?

A big thank you and best regards,

    Heiko

To avoid the noise color click Monochome

Go filter > blur > blur more

Levels (not adjustment layer.  directly to the layer) drag the black slider about two thirds of the slide right and white to the left until it meets the black slider.  Looking for a look under my post #3 chart

Maybe it's not even the last time that I make the memory, but it works

Open the Panel layers and drag one of the channels R, G or B to the new channel at the bottom of the Control Panel icon.  You now have an Alpha channel/mask

CTRL (Cmd) click this new channel to load as a selection.

With your graphic Brown layer selected, press the delete key, and it will knock at all the white spots.

You can place a layer filled with white or any other color, under the Brown graph, and it will show through.

In fact, a better way loading the selection Alpha channel, is to simply add a layer mask to the Brown graphic layer and invert the mask (Ctrl I)

  • How to create this video effect in my videos?

Hi, new here, I just first Elements 7 a week back and I must say I'm impressed...

I came across a video effect in a song found here (found 0:53 until 01:30) where the screen goes all white for a fraction of a second in a smooth way and the picture comes back again after that.

In fact, I also want the effect of rapid transmission of video (audio remains the same) for a few seconds, which can meet in the same clip in as long as I said earlier... But so far I have not experienced such a success to apply these...

Can you please help me? Thank you!

Unfortuately it happens "You can't watch the video in your country"... my country being the United Kingdom.

However, it seems that you just need to keyframe the opacity of the element (in the Poerties Panel for the clip, you can find opacity), may have a dull white on the track below. To create matte white, click the icon of a new item in the upper right panel Media (Panel that displays the clips used in your project), and then select color matte. See these free tutorials, including keyframes on Muvipix:

    http://muvipix.com/products.php?subcat_id=42

About fast shipping, use the time Stetch. the clock icon above the timline/scene of the left line. If not, right-click on the item and select Time Stretch. Note you will need to ixolate the time you want to speed up but divide the clip on part and the other where you want fast speed section. Then speed up the required section.

  • How to create this text effect?

I'm doing a t-shirt, but I can't seem to make this text affect. the words "Puff" was like a shadow on the inside, can someone show me how it's done?

    pdady.jpg

I like Dave using clouds make to produce the texture behind the PUFF text, but I could search Google Images with the word "conflagration", although the colours tend more towards the red end of the orange.

    Using THIS stock image

For outline of distress, I Ctrl-click the text layer to load as a selection and added a layer mask.  I then used Distort > glass on the layer mask.  You can see that I moved the layer of Conflagration (CRT) compared to the text layer, get the best texture.  Otherwise, exactly what Dave said... Stroke and inner shadow.

  • How to create the effect of cutting

I want to give the appearance of a shape to be cut in another form, a bit like a bevel internal. Please see the Home icon in the picture as an attachment for the exact look that I do. (This image is from ) http://Vectips.com/tutorials/create-a-wood-grain-texture/ ) I don't like the grain of wood, but rather the appearance of the shape of the House being cut into a block. Can someone explain how to do or direct me to a tutorial?

    Thank you very much!

It's a little more than an inner shadow or glow in my opinion.

You need to a darker edge to a lighter edge as well. The image below shows how to create a basic effect cant manually in Illustrator. For an overlay effect, change forms clear and dark, applying the lighter forms for the lower edge and darker forms and the top edge. This, combined with an interior glow will lend to an appearance more Medallion.
