How to create the column of the table for long-form Master detail relationship

Oracle 11g

I created a form master detail and see the main table hotel_list and table hotel_mapping as detailed below.

Hotel_list

ID HOTEL_NAME

1 Holiday Inn

Hotel Hilton 2

Hotel_mapping

ID HOTEL_NAME MAPPING_NAME

1 Inn Holiday Inn Select hotel

2 holiday hotel Holiday Inn Select

3 hotel Holiday Inn Holiday Inn Hotel

4 Hilton Hotel Hilton Hotel chain

Hotel Hilton 5 HiltonHotel

Table Hotel_name Hotel_list is a linked table Hotel_mapping

When I add a line to the Hotel_mapping table for the selected row in the hotel_list table, mapping_name of column is null, therefore impossible to create the relationship between the main table and the secondary table.

I would like to know, how to create the relationship?

simple step see creating a form detailed master with APEX - Assistant Master retail

and check how to maintain the relationship between two tables,

simple return the packaged application «Sample of Masters details»

and try to understand this concept...

In your example, use Hotel_list.ID as a foreign key in the table Hotel_mapping

and maintain the relationship with the column ID...

and choose the display type of the column Hotel_list.ID in table Hotel_mapping as List(Query Based LOV) select.

otherwise the best way is to create sample on oracle.apex.com

How to create the Table using the column Drag and Drop feature
Hello:
I'm new to Data Modeler tool Oracle SQL dev and would like to know if there is a way to create a new table by reusing existing columns or groups of columns. The idea is to maintain consistency and save time of table design. If the columns created previously can be reused and require, drag and drop column in the right pane, then only new columns must be created manually.

Any thoughts on this will be appreciated.

Yes - just change the name of the model table in the script (t_name = "table_template") then save this new transformation for later use.

I don't know how to apply only some of the tables. Seems like something you could do to a secondary view level?

Perhaps someone else on the forum can advise how to change the script to work on a subview only instead of the whole model.

ODI 12 c how to create the table without number (38.0)

Hi gurus of ODI.
I got following problem:
I have a copy 1:1 with the addition of metadata and a delta on the side to find target. When I look into the target in several numeric columns, the values are truncated, I lose precision.
What ODI research I found the problem to the work table.
All affected columns are defined as number without giving any precision or scale, in the target as well as the source.
When I ran the simulation to see what ODI I noticed that, in the creation of the work table statement ODI number is used (38.0) for all numeric columns where no precision is explicitly given.
It is so clear when ODI loads the data from the source to the working table the values of the numeric columns are truncated.
My Question now is, how do I know ODI is not to use the number (38.0), but simply of number for the numeric columns with no details given when a work table is created?
I know I could explicitly give precision and scale for each column of numreic, but it would be a lot of work and for some of the columns the precision required is not known, then that would be the worst Option.

I found myself where was the problem, then I write the answer, while others may find it here:

The mapping was

Source--> Filter--> Expression--> Join--> target.

The join joins anothher Table.

In the target, the instructions for completing the columns have been Expression.ColumnName

I changed it to be Source.ColumnName

The Knowledgemodules delivered with ODI treat different columns depending on how they are.

In the creation of the work table, firstly everything all computed columns in the Expression or read from the expression by other components, including targets. It then uses the presission and scale in the component expression with number (38.0) by default if it is explicitly given. Items but which are directly read from somewhere before the expression are also saved in the work table, it ODI use the scale and precision holding of the source - and when the Source's number without taking into account the precision and the scale he uses just number.

Someone knows how to create variable presentation for a column (that is, I need to create it in edit section formula itself). And then, I should use it in the Narrative section to display the value of this column. Is this possible? Or do I need to use any other variable for this requirement? If Yes please let me know, how to create it? This is a very urgent requirement.

How to create the table with value list/map binding
I need to display some values in a tabular format. It is possible to create a table adf without having value binds to a VO object. I can make a table with a combination of list/map.

I want to change the format of display with minimum change in the application. I therefore seeks a change to a list/map and map with the table.

Here is the structure in that I need to post.

Yes, you can do it. Create a pojo with properties (column) that you want to display in the table and create a list of instances of the POJO and then you can fill your table using the list.

Sample:

Then it is in error that...

You must make this grant on any new table, you create in usr1 and you want to use in the usr2 schema.

Follow these steps:

(1) prepare your .cod files and the .jad file. If you need to sign your application do that stuff too.

(2) place your .cod files and files on your server .jad. (answer to your question). You can also place the .jar file and files .alx files. (these are optional)

(3) open the BB browser and type the url as follows...

http://www.yourserver.com/blackberry/yourapp/yourapp.jad. (fake url)

so just point to your .jad from your BB browser file.

(4) a pop window opens with two download options and cancel (button cancel do not know) .

5) click Download.

NOTE:

you will need to configure your server with the following MIME types to allow the download.
