I did all this and the program does not open and displays the above message. Then, he suddenly decided to let me do an edition on a picture but when I click on "save under" the entire program window has disappeared. That's what it is. I can get the program to open, but if I click on options such as you upload a photo or save an image, or if I click on 'Help' and try to look at the user manual, etc., the program immediately shuts down / disappears.

  Today, I decided to use HP Photosmart for the first time (since I installed the printer last week), edit a few photos. The first time I clicked on the icon, the program window appeared and I would like to look at the features and watch the video tour.   Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Communities. The problem description, I understand that you are not able to access some options in editor of Digital Image Standard 2006 application. Before you start the troubleshooting steps, provide the following information:

  ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

  ·         You get the error message? If Yes, what is the full error message?

  Follow these methods.

  
  

  Method 1: Uninstalland reinstall the program.

  
  

  Method 2: place the computer in a clean boot State to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  
  

  Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 7 the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

  The problem has been resolved - to try and finally understand everything.

  If you encounter this problem, it is perhaps because, unless you know the file format of the inserted picture, programs can not figure it out for you. Place your cursor on the image, right click and save the image under a .jpeg instead of simply copying. Then work with the file .jpeg in any photo management program you use normally - or even insert it in Word.

  Something to try...

  Insert the Flash drive into a USB port and go...
  Start / computer.

  The Flash Player must be recognized as a removable
  Drive with a drive letter.

  Once you have the choice of loan on the first image,

  Use the move tool (see the below screen shot for the moov tool), and then drag the selection to the first image on the secondary image tab.

  As soon as you place the cursor on the second image the second image tab will open and now you can place the cutting on the second image.

  Great! I agree that the APEX is a great tool that is really underrated. But knowing CSS/JS/AJAX would be a great addition to what provides the APEX out of the box...

  Nope. Not bad at all. At most, it will not work or some features work exactly as they should. But, most of the people that I have seen and read about had no problems at all. You really don't lose anything else than it is time to give it a try. Chances are, though, that it will work without any problem.
