You seriously telling us that Microsoft has not a prepackaged Windows Media Player Codec Pack which can be downloaded from a Microsoft site, what your position is for us to download from a site know us nothing and take our chances on getting a virus?  Really?  The least we could do is to recommend a no from which to download Microsoft site.  Which would at least give some confidence that we won't get caught by the other site.

Media Player never download MS CODECs. Those who are already included in Win7. 3rd party CODECs always had to be downloaded separately or have been installed along with media related applications that use. 3rd party CODECs are subject to other fees for licensing, copyright of parties with a few being free or free. Downloaded codec packs do not necessarily include a legal copy of copyrighted codecs and installers can also replace your legitimate functional codecs with illicit or obsolete versions, or poor quality hacks.

Install FFDSHOW instead and you probably won't need any other CODECs. http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.NET/

  • How to erase songs duplicate on my windows music player? I combined disc to disc drive d. drive c,

I combined an old drive'c drive "with my new drive nine disc would be ' music library, now I have the song double on the same album or albums.do duplicate, I have to delete each piece separately?"

There are many utilities of Duplicate File Finder available on the web.

Make a backup of the folder music before you launch, manage the finder and will offer more deduplication for you but the challenge is to identify the file to delete and keep.

This clears the real files, cleaning of the library can be just as problematic. The common solution is to delete/rename the library and rebuild from the file store.

  • How to delete songs in Windows Media Player 11 duplicate?

How to delete songs in Windows Media Player 11 duplicate

    Hello

    Method 1:
I would recommend you to rebuild the database of Windows Media Player and see if the problem is resolved.

    Here's how:
To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:
    1. exit Windows Media Player.
    2. click on start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.
    3. Select all the files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.
Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.
    4. restart Windows Media Player.
Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
    Method 2:
If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files.

To do this, follow these steps:
    1. exit Windows Media Player.
    2. click on start, run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, and then click OK.
    3. Select the Media Player folder, and then click on Delete on the file menu.
    4. restart Windows Media Player.
    Method 3:
When you move digital media files on your computer, the file name and file path information remain unchanged in your library. Then when you select a file to play to its new location, a new entry is created in your library if you select the option automatically added to your library when played. As a result, your library can quickly contain a large number of entries, duplicate or invalid.
To prevent it be automatically added to your library of music files

    1. in Windows Media Player, on the Tools menu, click Options.

    2. on the Player tab, clear the files of music to add to the library when played check box.

Now, when you play music on your computer or the Internet, the file will not be added automatically to your library.

    Method 4:
In the case where the duplicates are not removed:
There are also third-party applications to do the job. You can search your favorite search engine and download third-party software to remove the tracks in Windows Media Player 12 duplicate.

    DISCLAIMER

If you have a music video, your friends sing you could install a flash drive on the Web site. If it is just an audio file, you must download the file to a file free host then post a link to the file on the Web site.  If Windows Media Player comes into play depends on what media player the person clicking the link used as their default media player. Windows Media Player will play no role in the file on your website. The link below contains a list of free audio files, hosting sites. There are many others that you can find with a simple search on Google.

  • How to convert an mp3 file to a file rtext? Can I use windows media player to play mp3 and have the recigition speech to convert to text?

Can I use windows media player to play mp3 and have the recigition speech to convert to text?

You can get on a conversion of 70% in reading a file in Windows Media Player using something like Dragon Naturally Speaking to convert. If you set the playback speed to slow in Windows Media Player to play > play speed, you will get a better result. The best option is to download the file to an audio transcription service, but which generally costs 0, 50-1, 00 per minute of audio.

  • Please help me with how to delete songs

I tried to read through messages and can't seem to find a way to do it. I'm not big on it like before I just used an ipod. I just got an e260 v1.  I have read and found out that I had to change my itunes in mp3 format I did.  Then, I downloaded Media Player 11 and got my songs on it.  Now I can't understand how to delete songs that I don't want the reader because I know that you can't do with v1. I tried to delete them in WMP and then synchronize, but they are still there.  Why is it so difficult! Any help with this simple (I hope) issue is greatly appreciated.

Yes!  I did it.  I am so happy.  Thanks a lot for all the helpful tips in this forum.

  • How to convert wma and wav, mp4 files and what not not mp3 with Windows media player?

    * Original title: music questions

Music has become a huge problem for me.   My car CD player only supports mp3 format.  I wish I could burn my CD from which I get used various locations, so that I can play in my car. Or convert files I have, which are not in mp3 format.  I played the same CD in my car for years.  It's a little sad.  And convert mp3 no mp3 files, so I can play them in my car, because I don't have a player other than Windows media player and speakers belong good markets.   How to convert files to wma and wav and mp4 and what not in mp3?

Music is expensive nowadays and the multiple formats and thus loss of music bought and in the cloud, or itunes 'cannot locate the source' will not play, and when devices in the event of a failure or who are upgraded drives me crazy.  I have more music in my life and I wish that we would go back to portable music as CD.

I usually use Windows Media player to RIP CD, that I find at thrift stores.   I have my brother gave me, on the PC that is in all sorts of types of music files.  I found a job online converter and it is, according to me, so thank you guys for suggesting that.  Have tried 3 different ones and finally found one that works in the last one.  I think my brain might need a bit of adjustment, of our days, (won't tell you music I have on CD, would seriously date), no kidding, but probably my PC could also use the setting.   I also have itunes for Windows, but have hardly used it.
