How to deploy webwork debugging token on playbook?

How to create and deploy webwork debugging token on playbook?

What is the command and the path?

BB10, is blackberry-debugtokenrequest - storepass - devicepin... *. bar..

BlackBerry-deploy - installDebugToken...

The following URL should have what you are looking for: https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/loading_your_app_to_playbook_1866988_11.html

Make sure you use the tools to create and deploy the token in the SDK of WebWorks PlayBook not BlackBerry 10.

  • Deploy the debugging token: no route to host

I'm using Linux, deploying a token of debugging on a BlackBerry Z10.

The mode of development, the dev what IP posted on the parameters is 169.254.1.1

    I use the following command: blackberry - deploy - installDebugToken debugtoken.bar - device 169.254.1.1 - password

And I have the following output:

Error: Unable to connect: no route to host. Check the settings of IP address for the target. Try to ping the target.

I can't ping the device from the device using a 169.254.x.x network, unfortunately I am using a 192.168.1.x network.

I have no firewall, no VPN and the unit is plugged in USB.

169.254 network cannot be changed on the unit.

I tried to force my Linux network config, so that I have the following text:

    # ifconfig

    eth1 Link encap HWaddr 00:10:18:31:68:60
    INET addr:169.254.1.2 Bcast:169.254.255.255 mask: 255.255.0.0

RX bytes: 190168290 (190.1 MB) TX bytes: 21806096 (21.8 MB)
    Interruption: 18

But still, I can't ping the device...

    What did I miss?

It seems that the device is properly connected to your computer, and networking has been correctly configured. However, the messages that you have found, and the lack of support of ping suggests there is still a network problem prevents you from reaching the unit.

Did you set it to 'Storage and access' mode 'Windows '? "Windows" mode is RNDIS, which works perfectly and 'Mac' mode (and perhaps her detected) are ECM and has some problems with some linux configurations.

You can reach the exit of "route ip get 169.254.1.1"? For my part, I see

    169.254.1.1 dev usb0 CBC 169.254.1.2
    cache

Your network (192.168. *) should not affect your debug configuration, unless your network is a 169.254. * network.

  • How to deploy a particular category of Playbook Simulator

    Hello

It of maybe a stupid question, but how do I deploy a different category when I run

    blackberry-deploy -installApp

that is, to one of the categories: Internet, multimedia, games, utilities

Can you add more new categories as well...?

    TNX, H.

You can control the categories in which your application is displayed.  Take a look at the following link for more information.

    http://Renaun.com/blog/2011/01/exploring-the-PlayBook-applications-BlackBerry-Tablet-XML/

Adding a custom category is not currently supported.

Nothing in Google on this subject. Could someone give some advice how to fix this or what to look for?

    Thank you

    p. s.

Yes my authorid is in blackberry - tablet.xml and it is the same as that in my debugging token.

    Found a solution.

Weird enough but clear Application Data on the next launch should be turned off whenever I sent an application to run on my Playbook (in... a series of section Configuration)

  • Unable to create a debugging for my playbook device token

    Hi all

I have a problem to create a debugging token to install on my playbook.

    * I installed the SDK for a long time (before the playbook was here), when I installed first of all, there was no debugging token / COMINCO files

    * Then I received my COMINCO file by mail, but has not used as I was more accustomed to using the Simulator.

    * I have since released an Android application.

I have some barsigners files in the folder "C:\Users\MY_NAME\AppData\Local\Research In Motion". I think that they were created when I published the Android app.

So now when I try to create a token of debugging with this command:

    BlackBerry-debugtokenrequest - storepass XXX - XXX c:\temp\debugtoken.bar devicepin

    And I have this error:

Error: The signature on the request of code signing did not check. The probable cause of this problem is entered a wrong password CSK.

My store is correct (I have another error if I intentionally use a wrong password).

Can this be my PBDT.csk file that is not registered?

    How can I change this?

    Thanks for any help,

I need it because I now have a bug that does not intervene in the ripple or on the simulator of the tablet.

OK, the different password for the developer certificate (p12) and RIM Code signing key would cause problems here.  Rename your author.p12 to something else and create a new p12 with the same password as your Code RIM signing keys.  Do not delete the barsigner files or you will not be able to sign the upgrades of your applications.  This command will allow you to create a new file p12.

    blackberry-keytool -genkeypair -storepass -dname "cn="

  • Debug a token on Playbook 2.0 Beta

    Hello

I'm trying to load a token of debugging on a device running 2.0 Playbook software. Under Security-> development, the mode of development, but I don't have a button that says "download the Debug token".  I am using the graphical tool to help load on and when I try to load despite not having this button the graphic tool just told me that the connection was refused.

Don't know what to do at this point. I tried to use the emulator to ripple to load an application on the device. The build succeeds, but the app is never loaded.

Has anyone else successfully added a debugging token to a 2.0 Playbook?

Thank you guys. I tried to do it through graphic help, but it doesn't seem to work.

I tried again through Eclipse with the ADT Plugin, Blackberry and got to work.

It is true that the 'download Debug Token' is no longer necessary.

  • PlayBook Debug token invalid

    Hello

I tried to install the token of debugging on my playbook. Everything seems to be fine, except that he says is not valid on the playbook. Any idea what can cause that?

BTW, my signing key works fine and I can sign the apps.

If you convert this number to 12 hexadecimal digits, it must match the name in your settings under-> Hardware, as a PIN device.

  • No matter how successful deployment Qt on OS 2.0 Beta?

OOPS! This has not been resolved, the button clicked by mistake and cant seem to delete message solved...

    Hi all

I'm a Qt developer with experience deploying on Symbian and Android.

I work on a linux machine and have successfully built the port of git hub bb and installed the NDK 2.0beta. My boyfriend has the playbook with OS2.0 thereon.

Using the NDK here http://wiki.qt-project.org/QNX 1.0 deployment guide

I managed to get a simple Hello World widget based app update and a built-in file bar using a debugging token. The content of the file look appropriate as bar the rest. It deploys on the playbook and the icon appears correctly on the desktop.

Once you try to run it if a white window appears for a few seconds then just closes...  The current log file $ cat/accounts/1000/appdata //logs/log is completely empty...

Does anyone at - he had success running on OS2.0 Qt applications?

Is it possible to open a session which could occur running?

    Any guidance would be appreciated!

    See you soon,.

    Thanks for all the comments!

I borrowed a playbook today and a signed application fires right up! It's probably a problem with the token of debugging on my buddies playbook? Qt applications watch Plains and need some styles, but they run smooth, scale well and all the controls work well, what a nice surprise!

I have a few applications to Qt based widget, I'm going out on the app store in the coming days, so I can't understand how the components of qml Qt over ports for the playbook and publish some more!

Everyone does all play with qml components yet? I managed to get a few component qml applications published using Necessitas android market. I think that the same approach should work with the playbook, just compile the components for the proc playbook...

  • How to deploy permanently my application for personal use?

So I developed an application. It's good enough for my own personal use, and I want to use it all the time. Problem is the debugging token is annoying and I need to renew it every month. How to deploy the application on my device at all times without the need for debugging token?

I do not put on BlackBerry World, at least not in its current state.

After you export a release build, signed BAR files can be downloaded directly to a device:

    BlackBerry-deploy - installApp 192.168.0.1 Filename.bar - launchApp-password devicePassword

This IP 192.168.0.1. Signed bar file expire.

Now, while trying to recreate the debugging token, I encountered error in cmd, ' error: not yet registered to request debugging tokens. Sorry for the nube-nish, I'm only 13...

WebWorks 1.0 will not support BBID approach to signature, if you go this route you will need to request a new set of files of the LSB of the code signing the form here:
    https://www.BlackBerry.com/SignedKeys/Codesigning.html

When you ask for the keys, don't forget to check this box:
For BlackBerry PlayBook apps or BlackBerry 10 apps development SDK lower or average of a 10.1 or BlackBerry 10 SDK WebWorks less than 2.0.

In an hour or two, you will receive two files CSJ. Before you begin installation, ensure that the directory that houses your key is empty (records can stay.) I recommend to copy all existing files in a folder "backup" just in case, but don't want any old CSK, DB, etc. of generated files cluttering it. If you do not know what directory, check the "files backup" section here that lists the directories.
    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/documentation/v1_0/signing_setup.html

Once emptied, you can use the steps in this URL (top of page) to save your CFS files. Essentially, by running the command of blackberry-signatory to record your keys.

Once this is done, you should be able to generate debugging tokens and others. The important part is to no BBID and mixture LSB file, and does not support this WebWorks BBID 1.0.

    http://openbbnews.WordPress.com/2011/11/16/installing-a-debug-token/

Yes, when you submit your application to appworld or if you want to share with other rules it must be signed.

If you decide not to use a token of debugging to test your application then each bar file must be signed also.

    See you soon,.

  • I couldn't get a debugging token

    Hello!

I'm Charlotte of Spain (and I speak very well English)

I'm trying to get a debugging token for blackberry Playbook, but I don't know what the problem is when I use blackberry-debugtokenrequest, because he said that I have to be registered and I registered on the blackberry, I think its possible that I need to be registered as a vendor, but I'm not sure.

I have another question: I'm developing an application in marmalade, but I don't know how to make it work in my playbook, the problem said that I need a "BlackBerry ID author:

    ERROR: Info: Package created: C:\Users\Juanma\Documents\Quick\Projects\MyFirstApp\deployments\default\playbook\debug\MyFirstApp.bar
Error: bar4048788377155908783. MF, validates the value package-author-ID 'Juanmabs22'.

I guess I need the debugging token to try it, but I'm not sure.

    Thank you!

The SJC files have been installed on another computer?  They can only be installed once.  If so, use the backup and restore procedure for copying on your other computer.

Backup and restore BlackBerry Code signing keys
