How to determine what needs a built application RTE

Hello

I'm at the stage where I have a number of pre-built used around my business applications.  They are built in LV2010, 2012 and is about to be 2013.  He has now reached the stage where I have to install for up to 3 RTE on any PC that wants to use applications applications.  Otherwise I could try to rebuild all applications with 2013, I want to avoid.

To help manage this situation, is it possible to determine what RTE has built the application requires?  It would help identify what RTE I maybe need to install or who built applications I really need to rebuild.

See you soon

Herbert

I think this could work for most cases. Open your executable file with a text editor such as notepad (or notepad ++ etc.). Search for the file "LVRT" and you should see the version number is somewhere close.

See the example below of a LV2012 executable:

I checked with LabVIEW 2010 and 2011 executable LabVIEW so it'll work for the last few versions of LabVIEW - I think it'll probably work for most versions.

  • How to determine what type of 9i application server we have Standard or Premium?

    Hello

We have two servers applications Oracle 9i on different servers, and we are reviewing our Oracle licenses. I was unable to determine whether these two application servers are Standard or Enterprise, and I hope someone can tell me a way to do it. At the very least there should be something in the underlying database infrastructure (9.0.4.1 EE) that should tell me, but I'm not familiar with the structure. Can anyone help?

    Thank you
    Adam

Standard should be the repository of metadata, OID, SSO, portal, wireless, Webcache and 2 Apache (HTTP)
Enterprise should be all the standard + BI (forms, reports, Discoverer).

    I hope this helps.

  • How to determine what security policy to be used in the HTTPClient.java?

    Hi team,

I tried invoke Fusion Web Service, not always successful, got a few entries and still ongoing.

The first question is to know how to identify the security poicy should be used in the resulting WSDL webService HTTPClient?

    Ex :

//setup security feature with OWSM policy
          SecurityPolicyFeature[] securityFeature =        new SecurityPolicyFeature[] { new  SecurityPolicyFeature("oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy") };

In the WSDL XML, how to identify, what strategy to use when calling webService

    < wsp >

    Plese provide your inputs.

    Sridhar

What is the error that you are experiencing? Security policy is in the WSDL file and documentation for GOSA provides details on the assertion. Generally, I think that you would use "oracle/wss_username_token_over_ssl_client_policy", which is the easiest to use. Also usually the easiest way to set up a call must first make the call using SOAP UI for you ensure that your envelope is correct and then to implement in any client that you need. For more details on how to make a SOAP UI call refer to this blog post.

    Hello HowardTeten,

There's a freeware app called Magic Jelly Bean http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/ it is a keyfinder. Download and run that and it will tell you which product key you use. All you need to do is then check to the back of the case of Windows to see which matches.

  • Stop 124 how to determine what material throws the error?

My computer is bluescreening everyday with the error 124.  Internet informs me that he is a "hardware error".  How can I determine what hardware is to throw?

    Error parameters are:

There are also a memory dump file if it is useful to dig there.

And Yes, I tried to get rid of the blue screen by running windows update, updated my drivers and reformat my hard drive and reinstall windows from scratch, it did not help, so do not waste my time suggesting such things.

  • How to determine the "size of extraction" application?

    Hi all.

The BP is 11.2.0.3 on a linux machine.

I would like to know the size of 'extraction' of an application, but I wasn't able to find any related meteris in v$ statname.

The configuration of the application is invisible to me.

Do I need to do some calculations based on statistical v measurement $ statname?

If so, what meteris should consider the hypothesis of "size of extraction?

The following is from manual, but the application configuration is invisible to me.

    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/java.112/e16548/resltset.htm#i1023619

    Setting the Fetch Size
The following methods are available in all Statement, PreparedStatement, CallableStatement, and ResultSet objects for setting and getting the fetch size:

    •void setFetchSize(int rows) throws SQLException

    •int getFetchSize() throws SQLException
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards.

    Hello.

Produce a trace for a session of the sample file and have a look through it for lines like

    FETCH #n, c =, e = r =

R = entry will display the number of rows returned for each extraction. If you make several extractions to get your full value at the time line, you will see a number of these lines with the same r = value .

I'm sure there is an easier way, but this is the first in mind.

  • How to determine what workspaces are open

We currently do some Git automatisms in which developer all the working files will be updated automatically. However, the automation script should ignore a developer folder if CVI is open this folder. For example, suppose that there are three folders.

    • c:\dev1\myproj.prj
    • c:\dev2\myproj.prj
    • c:\dev3\myproj.prj

If dev2 has opened myproj.prj, the script will skip this file. The way we tried to determine whether a particular project is open is as follows:

    1. determine if the ICB process runs.

    2. If so, obtain the title of the window of the CVI.

To this end, we have written a C++ Win32 utility. As the title indicates the path of the complete workspace, this information was sufficient. But recently, we have noticed that, if the path is too long, CVI shortened it (for example: c:\... \folder\myproj.prj). At the same time, if I move the mouse over the title bar area, CVI displays a ToolTip with the full path.

So I was wondering if there is a way I can read the tool tip string? Suggestions on this approach in another way are also welcome.

You can use ActiveX automation to connect to an instance of the CVI delivery to find out what the current project.

Once you determine that an instance of the CVI is running, you can then call CVI_ActiveApp If connect (look at the samples\activex\cvi\build.prj if you are not familiar with ActiveX automattion). The one caveat, it is difficult to control which instance of CVI will be used by CVI_ActiveApp, where more than one is running. But you can still use the CVI_AppGetCVIProcessId function to confirm that you have the right one (whatever that 'right' means, in this case).

Once you have a connection, you can use CVI_AppGetCurrentProject.

  • How to determine what registry errors to remove safely when using a registry cleaner

I installed a recommended by Microsoft free registry cleaner, it gives me a list of the elements in the registry. but more I don't know if I should remove it or not.  There is more obvious deleted programs I deleted, but how do I know what to look for in other items, such as empty registry records, etc..

    the simple answer is NONE.

All the "" registry cleaners are designed to produce numbers enough - and the real value of the changes is at best questionable.

Most of the registry cleaners will cause problems with the system sooner or later (usually earlier) and should be avoided at all costs.

There is no such thing as a "good registry cleaner except the knowledge and experience of your own system.

  • How to determine what you purchased compared to what you thought you bought

    Hello

I'm trying to understand what is / is not included in VMWare Vsphere Essentials +; When I spoke with Dell and VMW VRP I thought I was pretty clear that I wanted to be able to move active virtual machines from host to host and told me that I could do with the software recommended/city/bought.

What I find is that the HA and DRS features are not in my license and so I can't press a host to host system.

I lost about an hour I'm looking now for one that is on the page of the box for my product nothing helps.

Does anyone have this somewhere they could fax for me?

But if you have the license, you need to implement vMotion and HA! It will reduce downtime and give much more flexibility.

  • How to determine what storage spaces must be created before running IMPDP?

    Hi all

I just discovered that all relevant tablespaces must be created before you can run the IMPDP.
I'm curious to know if it is possible to understand the tablespace names from a dump file.

    Thank you very much.

I just discovered that all relevant tablespaces must be created before you can run the IMPDP.
I'm curious to know if it is possible to understand the tablespace names from a dump file.

No need to have the same space, you can use the REMAP_TABLESPACE parameter.

If the source nom_tablespace is "USERS", if your destination tablespace name is 'USERS_DEST' then give as

    impdp system /* dumpfile = file.dmp logfile = file.log directory = data_pump_dir remap_tabelspace =(USERS:USERS_DEST) *.

or if you want to know what tablespace, there is an option called SQLFILE, so if you import into SQLFILE, you can see all of the DDL from your dumpfile.

    Impdp system / * directory logfile = file.log dumpfile = file.dmp = data_pump_dir sqlfile = ddl_dump.txt
