• How to delete the process and free up memory?

  Hi - I have 110 processes running, using the memory of 78%.

  It started quite recently and I had the computer a long time.  I have a JPG file with a list of processes. I don't know how to tell which I can remove.  And, since I don't know how they all got here in the first place, I don't know what to do to avoid this problem in the future.

  I use WebRoot, which always has me protected in the past, so I'm not sure it's a virus.

  With all due respect, you should have mentioned the 'insufficient memory' message in your initial post. He told respondents much more than your question rather generally on the liberation of memory.

  'Insufficient memory' usually means that you have a request for misconduct, one causing "a memory leak" by requiring increasing amounts of memory until none is left. You could easily find by clicking on the working set column heading so that the application to memory greater demand floats to the top. Observing this display for a few hours, you will soon know where the leak occurs.

  1. open the case and disconnect the power cables of all readers but
  C:, then run the computer for awhile. If we click, it is C: this is
  dying.

  2. then plug the power cable into a different drive and run it
  computer for a while. If you click on, it's that you reconnected
  who is dying.

  3, number 2 twice more if necessary to repeat.

  In my work computer, Firefox has always gives the error "sec_error_unknown_issuer" and only on HTTPS sites.

  Apparently, the proxy server that uses the KFSCaRoot certificate (which does not much research) is imperfect if it allows some sites around.

  Try using Chrome for this next step, which is to display and export the certificate signature, assuming that you trust little matter it is to read all your traffic.

  Export

  • Open a secure chrome site and click on the padlock icon in the address bar. Click Connect to find the link to display the certificate.
  • In certificate Chrome display, switch to the Certification Path tab, click on the cert you want to export and use the button view the certificate to open directly. (This isn't the site's certificate, but the certificate used by the proxy to sign certificates fake site.)
  • Click on the Details tab, and then click the Copy to file button. This will start the Export Wizard. Use the DER format and save to a convenient location.

  Import

  • In Firefox, open the Certificate Manager using the: button menu '3-bar' (or Tools menu) > Options > advanced > mini-onglet Certificates > "view certificates" button.
  • Click on mini - the References tab, then on the 'Import' button and find the DER file. Note: I suggest allowing the certificate for Web only, unless your IT suggests otherwise.

  I enclose a few screenshots for reference, obviously not with your actual proxy...

  I'm trying to work around the "Labview freezes when there is big data in the Clipboard, known issue" (http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Labview-freeze-when-accessing-a-custom-menu-with-data-on-the/m-p/200...) and a thought is to try to determine if Labview has the focus, and if it then clears the Clipboard.  If Labview has focus, and then let the user use the Clipboard.  It would be a good work around, because it would let users paste the screenshots and notes files and would not risk a nasty Clipboard / menu / gel-crash.

  My initial search for determining windows application focus, came so empty.  This old thread (from 2005) covers pretty well:

  I'm Katrina58 sorry, but your post makes no sense, as written. There are several versions of the Windows Server operating system (ex. 2003 server, 2008 Server, Small Business Server, etc), none of which is Windows Vista 64-bit, which is a separate operating system. • I hate windows 8. It is the worst program ever - how do 7 - which I never used.

  I have a desktop at home and at work with xp, that I love.  This new hp laptop is great, except for this lousy windows 8, which I hate.  It is difficult to use and did not get more easy with the time.  I would like to go back to xp, but not because of microsoft.  I've never used windows 7, but it happened to be better than this pig.   help (wish I had bought a macbook air)

  If it's Pro 8 then there are downgrade rights associated with the supplied license, this does not apply to the base license Windows 8.

  Microsoft however do not help in this process that you can not the software from them you will need to source it yourself, but when you come to authenticate you must call the authentication service to get a key.
