  • Re: Satellite L50-A-1 - Synaptics touchpad - how to disable the LED status

    Hello
I recently reinstalled my touchpad driver because they had collapsed for a reason any.
And the surprise of the ow Ow.
Now the "fn + F5' shortcut keyboard no longer works, but I can turn my touchpad by double check the upper left corner. OK, why not.
What's annoying me is the white really led indicating when the touchpad is disabled. It really attracts the attention.

Is there a way to disable it please? (even if that means to disable the shortcut 'double tap corner' and find a way to reinstall the "fn + F5" shortcut)

When you remove the Synaptics software you will lose a few additional touchpad options but all the basic options will always be there. In General, you can use touchpad with basic options. It's your decision.

I n t have this computer laptop, model and don t know how it works exactly, but on my machine, I can disable illumination in the BIOS settings. Have you already checked the BIOS settings?

  • How to disable the fan completely - Satellite A10

    Hello

I have an old laptop Toshiba A10. I use it because of the noisy fan. I would like to completely disable the or the fans. That will allow me to use the laptop on the lower CPU clock speed. I know that the fans are important for the cooling of the processor and hard drive. However, I'm not looking for advice or recommendations on how to limit or reduce the fan noise. To be clear, I want to completely disable the fans regardless of the consequences it may have for the laptop or any of its elements. Is it possible somehow to turn off the fans without opening the laptop and physically remove the fans...?

    Best for all
    Lanson

RedHawk's right. There is no way to turn it off completely. It can be risky for the hardware of the laptop.
I have old Satellite 1900 and fan is also strong enough. What you can do is to change the method of cooling in the Toshiba power settings.

Put it in silent mode. I hope this helps a little.

  • Re: Satellite L655 - how to disable before LED?

    Goodmorning everyone,

I would like to know how to disable the front LED the L655 when the laptop is turned off.

Now, when it is turned off and plugged, 2 LEDs (white) are lit on (one because that is plugged in the laptop and another because the battery is completely charged). Is it possible to disable these LEDs when the laptop is turned off?

    Thanks in advance.
    Nicolas

    Hey Buddy,

These LEDs you can t turn on short and crispy.

This is why you must unplug the AC/DC adapter, and then all the lights are off.
