How to divide different my speakers and headphones to two playback devices

I recently bought the headset and when I plugged yesterday, they worked exactly as I wanted. Sound kept coming through the speakers only and I have only the voice through my headset (voice of my chat software).

Turn on my computer this morning, however, speakers and headphones were grouped in one reading "Speakers/headphones" and plug the headset would replace the speakers and play all the sound in the headphones. The helmet is always displayed as a separate device, 'Helmet of Communication', and test it still produces sounds in the headphones.
I would like to know how to divide the headphones and speakers, so they work as two devices separated again.

It depends on your sound manufacturer and if they have channels separated, programmed for the lines of the map.

  • How to fix sound coming speakers and headphones at the same time?

My computer old enough, I'll tell you that. I bought it on ebay with Windows XP pre-installed, and I uninstalled it instantly to I can have the pleasure of installing Windows Me (because I'm a little strange) with an installation disc, I had to hang out. Everything worked fine, until one day I decided to install Windows NT 4.0 and that pretty well done the sound somehow. To resolve this problem when I reinstalled XP, I found a driver that worked perfectly. With XP, I've had no problem with the sound since I installed the driver; the sound comes through the headset when it is plugged and through the speakers when my headphones are plugged into.

Now, here's the problem. I installed Windows 7 Home Premium last night, as it came with another computer that broke some time ago. It works perfectly, just a little slow because my computer is old. Of course, I expect to have to install the audio driver again, as I formatted my hard drive before installing 7. So I downloaded the driver from the same place, as I always do, site Web of Realtek. After installation, the sound works fine - but it comes out through the speakers and the headphones at the same time.
I tried to plug my headphones into the Jack located on the front of the computer and back, and it's still having the same problem. He has nothing else connected to the computer but the monitor, keyboard, mouse and wifi adapter.
Windows 7 is the only OS by far that has had this problem on this computer. Strangely, on the computer on which he came with, I have no trouble. I plugged it right in there and badabing badaboom, everything was perfect.
So I don't understand why it does not work on this computer. If necessary, my audio device in the sound options is Realtek AC 97 Audio.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    Hello Terry

After looking into this for you, the most common way to have audio play among two different devices is to use a virtual audio device called Mix stereo. I found a YouTube video where someone shows how he installed the stereo mix on Windows 8 Preview of consumer. Unfortunately, read the comments below several users report that the referenced driver does not work for the operating system Windows 8 to address fully released.

I'm not sure another way to have an audio reading of the two different devices on Windows 8.

  • His problem with laptop speakers and headphones

Yes, the night last and Eve, my speakers worked very well. In the long run a moment a Skype call, I had to switch to headphones because volume speakers is weak for a reason any. Don't ask me how or why. in any case, I have it plugged headphones can hear the sound of typing the volume bar in the Volume control and can listen to music through THAT my helmet. I've heard if your not careful, you can jam the switch between laptop speakers and headphones, so I tried pulling the plug in and out a few times, not good... I have a Dell Inspiron 9400 Intel under Windows XP SP3.

Also, I made sure all the boxes in my properties of Volume control are enabled and are uncut.
EDIT: So, figures that my Sigma Tel Audio necessary or needed a new driver, I went to Dell.com and downloaded the last being, installed, rebooted and then suddenly I hear these little tones, sounds is fixed again. So, I don't know if this issue must meet more.

  • T440 - Sound does not switch between the internal speakers and headphones listening or return

    Hello community,

Let me first explain how I assumed that the switch between headset and speakers should work:
I turn on the music or anything else and if no headphones are connected, all sound from the internal speakers. Now if I plug headphones then sound comes exclusively from the helmet. If I go out then again the sound comes from the speakers and so on.

In my case, the situation is the following:
If I have no headset connected and turn on the music, then I heard if via the speakers. If I decide to continue to listen to this music through a headphone and plug them in, then the music continues to come from the speakers, but for example, the outlook notification sound is delivered in the headphones. It works vice versa.
If I open, say youtube for a video, while having the headphone is plugged, I hear the sound through them. If I now unplugg, them, the speakers will remain silent.

What can I do that if there is no external speakers connected (helmet, etc.) all sound will be played through the internal speakers, if I plug in a kind of external speaker, it's their part and if I unplugg it it switches back on the internal speakers?

Thank you very much for your help!

    Best regards

  • Pavilion dv6: new headphones, but some emissions are transmitting sound through speakers and headphones.

    Spoiler (Highlight to read)
    Hello
    Hello

I recently bought a new headphones for the game but had some problems with it and the sound system. A major problem is when I have someone call on Skype, the Skype sound or the call will go through the headphones, but on the other audio from the speakers. I also agree that also what iTunes does not work when I am in a call as well. Some examples would be that if I want to watch a YouTube video during a call, noise would come by the speakers and not the headphones. However, I found a solution for this. All I had to do was turn off the main speakers and the audio was transmitted to the headphones. Another example would be that if I want to run the games through Steam (Garry Mod, TF2, ect.), I get no sound in the game. Not through my speakers or headphones. With one exception, volume of Garry Mod, I can hear through the speakers so that in a Skype call, but I want the sound to come through the headphones. But with TF2, I have no sound whatsoever. If you need more information about me, feel free to ask. Thank you.

    Concerning

  • Try to use the speakers and headphones

    • I have a Durabrand 5.1 speaker system and normal headphones with microphone included. The speakers plug in a headphone and headset (of course). I'm trying to figure out how make my computer recognize them both at the same time. Until my recent updates I could disable my speaker and sound was still coming through the headset but either headphones now have no audio or the speakers do not have. Realtek Hd Manager doesn't seem to like them both at the same time. At the same time I didn't need the microphone turned on the headset due to having a Logitech cam with a. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Xerosk,

    b. click sound in the search at the top of the beginning menu.c results. Click the reading notice the check mark next to the default device. For most users, the default device is speakers. Make sure that the audio settings are configured as expected.

    Follow these steps:

    e. on the Read tab, select the playback device, click on configure and make sure that the configurations are set correctly.

f.Select the audio device you want as the default audio device and then click on set as default.

    g. click OK to save your settings and close the sound dialog box.

Determine if you can now hear. If you can hear the noise, the problem is resolved.

Also try to update the audio drivers supplied by Device Manager and check if it helps. You can access the link below and follow the steps to update the drivers on your computer.

  • Volume display shows options for the speakers and headphones

Whenever I click on the window of the volume in the corner, it shows two sliders, one for my speakers and one for my helmet. This wouldn't be a problem if my headset work now. I plugged them (brand new, by the way) and his memory to come through the speakers. I went through the troubleshooting, searched this forum very and discovered that my headphones are the communications device by default and not to the default device. I've been trying to put my headphones by default, but it wouldn't let me, doing nothing when I clicked "Set as default". I tried to turn off my speakers, which almost worked if it wasn't the fact that now almost all the sound elements was not present at all.

If someone could tell me how to solve this problem, or what I am doing wrong, please do so as soon as possible.

  • HP-15 ac042tu: Sound speakers and headphones

I just bought a laptop hp-15 but the sound comes from loudspeakers and headphones at the same time instead of automatically cut the speakers. I've tried every suggestion given over the internet, but nothing seems to work. Please help me as soon as possible. Here is a screenshot of the myrealtek hd Manager

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download the Realtek Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp71001-71500/sp71379.exe

Hold down the Windows key and press R In the Run box, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.  In the Device Manager window, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

    Chipset Driver - Windows 8.1

Once reinstalling, shut down the laptop - this by holding down the key SHIFT left click Shutdown to temporarily prevent a hybrid boot.

Then disconnect the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load default settings, use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Let Windows load completely - it can automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the installation of Realtek Audio program and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once done, restart the laptop.

    Kind regards
