How to download the latest version of Flash Player
And now a REALLY fundamental question:
I am trying to download the latest version of the Flash player.
I go to what looks like the appropriate Adobe page (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/), and there is a link 'Install now', which I click. Apparently, but it's a misleading link, it just goes to a page full of ads Adobe peddling subscriptions for the rental of various Adobe products. There is a "Adobe Flash Player" link on this page under the "Downloads" section, but it just goes back to the previous page. (Thanks, Adobe).
Anyone knows how to go beyond the cheezy to the real download shilling?
This is the good link and it works fine for me without any redirection. can you check it again?

I downloaded the latest version of flash player, does not?
I just got my computer back to be fixed and I'm redownloading everything I need.
I have a Mac OS X Version 10.7.5 and I downloaded the latest version of flash player for it. It seems to be installed because there is a window opens saying "Thank you, enjoy flash player." or something like that after I downloaded the flash player.
I tried several times and I STILL can't watch videos or doing things that require flash player.
I went to my preferences system, clicked on Flash Player and went to the progress bar, and he says "plug-in version 11.9.900.117 is installed."
However, when I go to this page: http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player.html
And I click the "check now" button to see if flash player has been installed on my computer, it says:
"Sorry, Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled.
Please proceed to step 2. »
And so I did and downloaded AGAIN. I saw the same thing once I reloaded the page and try again.
I don't have an anti-virus program, so it can't be that.
The flash player is enabled?
How can I check if it has activated activate / it?
It is usually in the Tools section of your browser.

Download the latest version of flash player
I tried to install the plugin flash player on firefox 15, but it's impossible. No matter if I do a manual install or click directly on other plugins. When I restart firefox, I get the message that I need to install flash player
I also tried several things, like restarting firefox without supplements, check the NPSWF32_11.dll in the Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash or the mms.cfg of edition.
Installing and uninstalling flash player.
worst of all, is that the flash works fine in chrome and IE8Hello
I tried several times to install / uninstall the flash player (version 10 & 11)
Moreover, I realized that I did not use the 'administrator' account (one administrator privileges, so a combination of uninstall in safe mode, log in with the account admin, re - initialize the plugin database, relocation and installation in safe mode, did the work)
Thank you very much for your help

I get a message that something does not work because the latest version of flash player must be installed. I go through the download and install Flash player, but still not the message. After installation, I never get the configuration steps. I tried to uninstall what ever version of flash player is on my computer before the download and install, but it does not help.
I also tried to remove Adobe photoshop Elements 9 and Adobe first Elements 9 but I couldn't make it work. I get a message that "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed."
Removed phone numbers that I am assuming that you do not want this posted on a public forum.
You can try going through the steps in the two faq from below. In addition, where you can go to the Version of the Flash Player page and see the animation and flash player version number displayed?

Why sovereign funds on my hard drive do not use the latest version of Flash Player?
I've looked everywhere and I don't know why no one seems to be talking about this.
When I view a SWF in a browser it uses Flash Player 11.6, but when I view a SWF file on my HDD it uses Flash Player 10. Why is this? It's driving me crazy.
I already know that Chrome uses several different Flash players. One of them is the built-in Flash Player and the other is the 'system' Flash Player. I assumed that the Flash Player system is one that is running when I opened the SWF file on my hard drive, but this is clearly not the case. I tried to uninstall Flash Player and I could always open the SWF file on my hard drive and they always said Flash Player 10. What happens here? How many players Flash do I? Looks like there is a Flash of Chrome's built-in drive, a system of Flash Player AND a Flash Player that is used for the execution of the SWF file on my hard drive.
I am running Windows XP and I have the latest version of Flash Player. I know because I was installing it again and again trying to solve this problem.
The standalone version of Flash Player (projector) is not updated with the Flash Player browser add-ons; You must download the latest standalone player manually http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

When I install the latest version of Flash player, I get a plugin
When I install the latest version of Flash Player (11.6.602.171), I get a firefox plugin. Why I don't get the Flash Player instead? OS is vista Home premium, firefox v.18
Hmmm, the part of Flash player that runs inside Firefox is a plugin. You mean you get a puzzle piece icon where the Flash Player to appear on the page, or a message on activation of the plugin or update the plugin?
If a photo would be helpful to understand what you set, you can attach a capture to a new response from screen. This article contains general information: How to make a screenshot of my problem?

Impossible to install the latest version of Flash Player on Mac (OS 10.9.5)
Asked me to install the latest version of Flash Player on my Mac (OS 10.9.5). First of all, everything went as usual: I downloaded a disk image, called "AdobeFlashPlayer_22au_a_install.dmg", and when I click on that I get a "Adobe Flash Player Installer" on my desktop, as usual. When I click on this Setup, I see the "install Adobe Flash Player.app". So far so good, but when I click on that app install, the following window appears
but there is no other window open (I rebooted my Mac and begun the process to the course, and I get the same message).
When I click on 'Finish', I'm brought back to the Web page to download the Flash Player installer (which is already on my computer).
Can someone tell me what could go wrong here?
Thank you very much
Thomas
Hello
This window appears if you have multiple instances of the Flash Player installer open and a reboot would solve the issue, but since the restart has not resolved the issue may be that you don't have the correct update file. Could you open terminal and type md5 /Users/
/Downloads/AdobeFlashPlayer_22au_a_install.dmg and see if the value is 99e3ccf6bc343de051908066ea06248e. If this isn't the case, then you do not have the good try Flash Player. Please download the get3.adobe.com/flashplayer.update/osx update file.
If the problem persists, please let us know.
Thank you!

Problem: Cannot install the latest version of Flash Player.
Impossible to download and install the latest version of Flash Player. The installation program downloads very well but the installer will not download the Flash Player. I keep getting a message "connection error" the installer. I checked my DSL connection and it works properly. I use Windows XP (32-bit) with FireFox 38.0.1 and Flash Player 17.0.0.169. I had similar problems during the installation of the 17.0.0.169 version but after 3 or 4 attempts it finally downloaded and installed successfully. My Flash Player configuration is set to 'Allow Adobe Flash Player install'. I tried to close FireFox and my Norton software on the security line during installation, but I still get the same error message. Is the latest version of Flash Player that is compatible with Windows XP? Is there a problem with the Adobe servers are down? Thanks in advance for your suggestions on this problem!
Try to use the following Adobe link. Descend to the bottom where it says, "still of the problems? Click the link for your browser.
