How to edit a video DVD?

I have 120 minutes on a single DVD-video that I would like to change in order to

create 10 minutes of video. Can anyone suggest the best way to accomplish

This?

I probably should have indicated the files were copied and saved to my desktop. These are ts files.

When I copied the files to a DVD it split into two files.

VIDEO_TS and audio_ts called another. They are both of a single DVD. Do you know why creates two folders on the same DVD?

I guess what I'm wondering really is what free video editing software is the easiest to use?

The. On a DVD VOB files contain Audio and video.

Try to import the. File VOB in Movie Maker for editing.

If it doesn't matter... try to rename the file. MPG and
see if it will be important.

Always without success... try of comverting the. VOB file to the
. WMV format. The following freeware could be useful

  • How to burn a video DVD so it will run on Blu - Ray player?

I worked on a video for the 70th anniversary of my mom for months now in items 14.1 first.  The video was made, but can't burn.  I am able to burn AVCHD format and watch it on two of my Blu - ray players.  However, when I burn the video in DVD format, it will not play on one of my Blu - Ray players.  Here's what I've done for troubleshooting:

-I can play other DVDs made House (made by others in previous versions of items) on R-media.

-J' changed my DVD burner for the region of the United States and re-burnt, but that it was not fixed.

-J' went through the specifications for one of my Blu - Ray players and it supports DVD-video on media r region 1 (US).

    -J' tried Verbatim-r and + R + R and HP media.

-I can also run the DVD on my computer.

-J' have opened the files on my computer and see the open DVD and Video_TS folders. I see the following files in Video_TS:

    VIDEO_TS. BUP

    VIDEO_TS. IFO

    VIDEO_TS

    VTS_01_0.BUP

    VTS_01_0, IFO

    VTS_01_0

If you're running Vista Home Premium or Ultimate, you can
be able to import files into Movie Maker directly from the
DVD... the files you want are in the VIDEO_TS folder and have
    a VOB extension.

Also... the info is maybe worth a visit:

DVD Movie Maker 6... in Vista Home Basic
    http://www.Papajohn.org/newsletters/185-DVDtoMM6inVistaHomeBasic.html

When you insert the DVD in your DVD player... close
all the windows that can open and then go to... Start /.
Computer... right click the icon for the DVD player
is in, and then select Explorer.

The files you need from the DVD are the. VOB files.
You will find them in the VIDEO_TS folder. Copy them
in a folder on your hard drive.

First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to
. MPG or .avi and see if it will matter in Movie Maker.
If import works... drag the file to the timeline and
Economy/publication it to .wmv or .avi format. Then...

  • Re: How to save the video file to a DVD-R for Equium A200

I have the Equium A200. Someone can tell me how to save the video file to a DVD-R on my computer in order to use it later, or use it in windows movie maker and must not simply copy on another DVD-R right?

My cursor also has disappered in the suite of windows media, that makes life quite difficult.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

You mean, you want to copy the original DVD movie to HARD drive?
Well, you can copy the contents of the entire DVD to the HARD drive. It means that you have to copy a lot of data.
I would recommend shrinking the DVD movies using a tool called DVD shrink.
It would decrease the data and would also copy the content to the HARD drive.

But if you want to use these files later in windows movie maker, so you must convert these using a 3rd party tool.
Google a bit and you should find many free applications that would help you to do this work.

    Good bye
