  • How to exit a mode of overlay of the keyboard on Satellite Pro A200?

As of recently I noticed that my keyboard shortcuts stopped working, that is, rather than the work of combination Fn + F # except Fn + F10 and Fn + F11 which access the cursor control keys and numeric keypad, respectively.
Also, just by holding Fn I apparently temporary digital keypad mode (However, before, when everything was working, just keep the Fn done this little bar feature at the top of the screen keys appear).
So I think that my computer is still in some 'keyboard overlay mode' and that's why only Fn + F10 and Fn + F1 combinations work and nothing else. I really need to get back the use of other combinations of keys Fn + F # if I appreciate any help anyone could give me this.
    Thank you!

The lights are activated under the F10 and F11 keys?
If so, turn it off by pressing the FN + F10 or FN + F11

But first, it would be very useful to know that OS you installed or do you use?
    Are you using Vista?

Well, in this case, you should try to reinstall the TOSHIBA components common driver, then the TOSHIBA Flash Cards. Flash cards provides the Hotkey function and the function of pitcher who starts the keyboard shortcut function and sends the other TOSHIBA utilities.

The two drivers are located in the package Toshiba added value on the European driver Toshiba page.

  • Cannot get computer to exit the mode "sleep"...

Earlier this morning, my computer for 15 hours to exit the mode hibernation; some very useful posters expressed the view that it could be a battery problem, but thatprobably was not the case.

Now, he's not out of "sleep mode".

Should I disable one or both of these modes, or do a "hard" reset (I've heard the term, but I don't know how it's done), or try something else.

This is a laptop HP 3 year with Vista & IE 8.

  • Updates Windows 7 stuck in verification mode

After a dismal upgrading to W10, I decided to restore on W7.  Everything is fine, but updates are glued to the verification mode.  I waited hours, tried tools, checked computer files for corruption, the FixIt Windows thingy... nothing worked.  I can't try a bunch of command prompts or removing and reinstalling stuff more things.  Someone has another help or am I screwed because Microsoft deliberately sabotaging W7?  Frustrated!   Thank you.

    You have two options here.

Option 1 - use a guide to solve the problem

You can read my wiki article on how to solve this specific problem. Attention, it requires technical skills to some extent. That being said, here is the link:

Windows Update stuck on "checking for updates... ».

Option 2 - use the Roll-Up of the Windows Update

Recently, Microsoft has packed all the updates of Windows 7 over the past five years in a single, easy-to-install package. Instead of spending hours trying to install updates 200 +, just install the roll-up and make. Personally, I would say this to option 1. I wrote an article of wiki for more details. Here is the link:

  • How to disable safe mode

Hi, im on one machine 12.10 Linux ubuntu, and I need help on how to disable the mode without failure of firefox!
I want to disable safe mode because I need my content filter activated all the time and I do not know how...
I have read many threads saying how to turn off this mode and found some information that might be handy but never got to turn it off!
Please notice that im a beginner and I need extra explaining so please be patient...

    Thank you all...

Disable Safe Mode, this isn't a very effective method to prevent disabling the content filtering (I assume you are using an extension?). Try using a based operating system content filter if you need it, there are so many ways to pass an extension filter as you can not stop all.

  • How to disable the mode full screen

The toolbar has disappeared. Can you tell me how to disable the mode full screen? Apparently this is going to give back me the toolbar.

    F11 activates / deactivates the mode full-screen.

Versions of Firefox 3.6 + have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.

Press the Alt key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar, so it has a check mark.

The F10 can also be used on most PCs to temporarily reveal the menu bar.
