How to export 4 mono audio channel tracks separated?

Hello! I need help as soon as possible...

I am trying to export video files that have 4 separate mono (single) audio channels.

I work with red RAW images, and I've synced sound that has four mono channels to separate. A boom, two lavaliers and zoom mic.

Here is my solution up to now...

When you create a new sequence I selects RED R3D 1080 p, then I click on TRACKS > Audio and select multichannel, number of channels - 4. Can I go ahead and synchronize the video and audio. When I go to export I'll AUDIO and select "Uncompressed" audio codec, and in configuring audio I select Mono - 4 channels.

However, after export, I believe that the four channels are identical. I need channels to be separated, as the source (boom, LAV, zoom, etc.).

Please advise on how to do it. I'm doing something wrong?

Thank you!

A couple of things to watch, make sure that the timeline tracks are top selected outputs correct and are correctly pans.

Some export codecs will allow mono files separated, some don't. This gives you the opportunity:

  • How to make two mono audio tracks in a stereo pair?

My clip video, brought in first CS6 of Final Cut Pro 5, the left regular and audio tracks right, but first, they are not related in a stereo pair. Thus the volume level must be set separately in each track.

In Final Cut, I can convert two independent audio tracks in a pair of stero selecting tracks and then by going to the Edit menu > stereo pair.  I can't understand how to do this first.

When two audio tracks are not related, the volume level must be set separately in each track that is slow. But after two tracks are linked in a stereo pair in Final Cut, or another track adjustment allows to set both, together. That's what I want to do now in first.

So, how do two separate audio tracks in a stereo pair in first?

    Welcome to the forum.

Have you looked at the padding on the left and fill right Audio effects?

They should get what you want, or almost. Now, the result will be stereo double mono and not true, but will be 2 channel, and that is, I believe, what you really want.

    Good luck

  • How to export a file audio 44100 Hz and a Hz 43200 one?

    Just like the title says.

If you want to play with this you don't need to mess with the sampling frequency.  Go to effects/time and Pitch and reduce the height of your recording by the required ration (environ.982 by a quick calculation).

As Steve says, totally change the frequency of sampling at a level not a simple would give you a file that you could not play anywhere.

FYI, the choice of 44.1 kHz as sampling frequency has nothing to do with Nazi conspiracies and the do with the calculation of Nyquist what sampling rate is necessary to reproduce all audio frequencies up to beyond the limits of human hearing.

  • Audio can be separated into two tracks of channel once it is already on the timeline?

I've recently updated my old first 6.5 to the CS6. I have 4 hours of footage that shows my only audio in the Audio track #1. I do not see each channel separately. I need to change the audio channels separately.

I just found out that I should have changed an audio setting for each prior clip to add it to the timeline in order to have audio channels display separately.

Audio can be separated into two tracks of channel once it is already on the timeline? I hope of course. It could be done in the first former before Pro.

Help, please. I look forward to a response. I'm on a tight schedule.

I thank in advance anyone who can answer.

Fill effects that are for you.

  • Multi-cam sequence only ONE AUDIO CHANNEL LEFT, Adobe Premiere Pro CC TIMES.

    Hi all

I was wondering if someone could help me out here. I have several hours of short clips (1-3 min) of an event of 3 days I am organizing and preparation for editing.  I wasn't on the shooting, but the cameras record the external microphone (main audio) on one channel and the internal microphone (audio reference) on another channel; but it varies on what channel they recored reference main vs.  For the clips where someone talking directly to the camera and I know that I will not need the audio reference, I went and made "audio editing" and mixed the "stereo" until "mono" and then selected the channel with the "audio main' to be source channel.   It works now great when the person talks it comes in evenly on the left and right speakers instead of being unbalanced.

However, when I then try to take 2 of these clips which were mixed at the bottom of 'mono' and create a new multi-cam sequence, new sequence plays constantly audio only from the left lane.  I tried many configurations where do the multi-cam of sequence (automatic, mono, stereo, Adaptive). Nothing works - he ONLY plays the left side.  I also tried to change the audio channels after I do the new sequence and put "Channel 1" in both channels left and right.  Nothing, he still plays on the left side.

Any idea on how to get my mono source channel to play regularly in the left and right channels instead of only in the left?  Also, if I try to Pan right in the effects window, it's just quieter, not balanced.

    Thanks for the help!

Found a solution here multicamera Source Audio sequence of 1 speaker instead of two? HELP Please!

CTRL + N or command + N for a new sequence, select your preset (in my case DVProHD > 1080i) and make sure the audio channels are all mono. Then copy and paste all your clips into the new empty sequence.

When I upgraded from Premiere Pro CC 2014 and 2015, all my sequences blocking started playing mono audio through the left speaker only. I'd just create a new multi camera sequence or if I opened one I had created in 2014.

  • The selected file cannot be linked because there 6 audio channels, and the clip was created with 2

I tried to link the MTS files to a project that I have edited with AVI files. I got the message "the selected file cannot be bound because it has 6 audio channels and clip was created with channel 2/channel" audio. Does anyone know what I need to do?

I had this problem and the cause in my case, it was that I changed all my clips in the project are mono audio channels. When I tried to swap the originals with proxies, I did, I had a similar message for the clips that have been affected by the designation of channels. I opened the project and selected all my media items in the project window and changed all the audio back to 'use the file' and that did the trick for me.

  • How to export the audio mono 8 times fast track for broadcasting stations?

Hi, I work for a post for ads home. We head to a format without tape for control and file delivery to stations and get to the extreme.  Is it possible to use the first to export a single file with 8 mono tracks to support a 5.1 mix (channel 1-6) and a stereo mix (7-8). We need the file contains all 8 as mono audio tracks individual tracks.

  • Receiver 2 mono channels L and R arises - how to export in stereo?

I get a lot of video files with 2 or 8 channels audio - all mono stems.

I usually find myself export audio 6 channel 5.1 as an individual mono stems and that's fine, but most of the time customers want both L and R channels exported as a single stereo audio track.

Whenever I export a timeline with the L and R audio channels individual, whatsoever, WAV, AIFF, or video w / audio attached, it comes in a dual mono channel. I select stereo in export settings, but it does not matter.

Y at - there a trick to getting this working properly? I got many complaints from customers about the mono audio delivery and I don't know how to get around it using first CC.

    Thanks for the tips!

Excellent. I missed aspect - sorry.

As you have imported your discrete elements of (1 channel) Mono in your project, drag them to separate Audio tracks.

Then go to control panel Audio Mixer and Pan a left and a right.

If your master is set to stereo (2 channel), you should get the mixer who, then export.

Hope I'm not missing something else, but he's going to apologize in advance if I am.

    Good luck

  • Export audio multichannel - how to tag in the metadata channels

I export a file from first Pro CC 2015.1 with 8 audio channels (5.1 + 2.0 discreet discreet stereo)

Before the channel 1 is: L

    Channel 2 is Front: R

    Channel 3's before: C

    Channel 4 is LFE

    Channel 5 is back: L

    Channel 6 is Back: R

    Channel 7's before: L (stereo)

Channel 8 is before: R (stereo)

I would like to find a way to show it in the metadata of the file. I changed the actual names of the tracks within the first... but when I analysed with MediaInfo, all channels still look like this:

    Screen Shot 2016-02-18 at 13.03.20.png

I would like to find a way to change the 'Position of the channels' field of discrete-0 for a description of what is on this track. Is it possible in the first? I could do with hearing, or another program?

Displays the first time - to help much appreciated.

Found a way to change the channel assignment via the window "Show movie properties" in Quicktime Player 7.

  • How to select the right and left a track audio channels in the graphics editor?

I put my 2 keyframes for gradual and hit the chart next to the Audio levels. Then in the graph Editor to see the slope of the fade.

I would like to use the Bezier handles to edit bland. But when moving them around it just doesn't move right and left audio channels separately, and I have no idea how to adjust them in unison or at least take the other to the same position as the first.

    Thanks for the help

In General, audio Ae tools are not only versatile, so do not expect to have a hard time with them. your questions - it seems that if you want to manipulate the keyframes for Audio levels in the graph Editor, you will need to adjust the two handles, one at a time.

two workaround solutions: I can think of:

    1. If you want to control the volume, it is better still to use stereo mix effects and not audio levels. It also has 2 values, only this time both are visible in the timeline panel if you can drag the two simultaneously (how you couldn't front with audio levels) and manipulate your chart.

    2. If you still want to control audio levels after reading the 1st work around: you can connect your audio levels to a cursor of expression: Add a cursor of expression to your audio layer alt now (Effects-> expressions-> slider control control) click on sound levels to activate the expressions for this layer and drag the pickwhip expression. This will make the slider to control the sound levels and you'll have only one value in the graph Editor.

  • How to map a track audio channel left or right only in CS6?

    Guys,

I imported a mono audio clip and get on mono and stereo audio, but I can't make it show to left or right channel only on two of them.

And I can't add "Balance", "Fill the left" and "Fill right" effect to it. So what I would do in this situation? I want out of this audio clip mono left channel or right only.

    I use Premiere CS6.

    Thank you!

    Nick

Go to the project Panel (before you put the clip on the timeline) right click on the clip, select Edit / Audio channels and set it up to stereo.

  • Export DNxHD with 8 channels audio multi... Problem! the final file only stereo all mixed with 6 empty strings.

I export DNxHD with 8 channels audio multi... My problem is that the final file all mixed in the first 2 stereo channels with the channels empty rest 6.

I'm lost on what could be the problem.

The main audio channel is 8 channels... NO stereo.
Export, I chose DNxHD and audio 48000 Hz with 8 output channels

What could this be? I need to deliver a film with the 8 mono channels.

    Really appreciate all the thoughts/help!

    Thank you

    Christian

That's how I would implement mixer in CS6's using a sequence of 8 track with 8 mono channels (mono channels using maintains levels matching, stereo and standard tracks can cause differences in level of 3db). Note the Red output channel selection and the panpot position indicated in blue.

  • How to get the double mono audio when sending prelude Roughcut to Premiere Pro?

Can someone please tell me how to send a first Assembly of first mono audio with dual prelude?

I have pictures with dual mono audio.

I did my first editing of subitems in prelude.

I right click and choose send to Premiere Pro.

In Premiere Pro, I get my complete clips and the sequence.

The sequence is stereo, but I need it to be dual mono.

I can right click and change the individual clips in Premiere Pro in mono, but they do not affect the sequence.

I got mono preferences Premiere Pro to import audio data regardless of the source. This does not seem to do anything.

I can't find anything as a prelude to double mono audio export.

    Help, please!

    HI -.

The only way I found to do what you ask for is:

    1. prepare your Rough Cut in the prelude and send it to the first

    2. once in the first, I copied my audio track 1 audio (stereo) and copied in 2 Audio and Audio 3 (in duplicate)

    • Note: I had to create two additional audio tracks to the sequence in PR. I upgraded them.

    3. right click on the Audio 2 clip and select "Audio channels...". "in the context menu

4 uncheck the RIGHT way - so all you have is the LEFT channel enabled for this audio track

    5. pass Audio 3 and repeat steps 3 + 4 above, but this time clear the RIGHT channel in the dialog box "Audio channels...". ».

    6. cut the Audio track 1

I realize that it is a manual process. We hope to provide a better solution, go ahead - be able to modify dynamically the Audio settings of sequence for example would have toured here - but of course that option does not exist currently.

    Kind regards

    Michael
