  3. Windows Update Agent does not work.

  For now, let's try the following steps to solve the problem.

  After you complete the steps, please run Windows Update to check the result.

  Step 1: Check the services concerned of the update of Windows

  1. click on Start, type services.msc in the Search box and press ENTER.

  2. in the right pane, check if the following three services have been launched:

  If the 0x8000ffff error persists when you search for updates, we will reinstall Windows Update Agent 3.0.

  Step 3: Reinstall Windows Update Agent

  Note: There is a space between "D:\WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe" and "/ wuforce.
