How to fix the calendar to crash?

Thunderbird is getting hung up a synchronization schedule and he ends by blocking the program or consumes just CPU so I have to kill him. It's a google calendar, which worked well for the last ~ month. Here's what happens:

You can disable the problematic calendar in SafeMode in the following way:

  • Open config editor https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/config-editor
  • Research of "calendar.registry * name.
  • Find the name of the problematic calendar in the value column and take note of the alphanumeric key there in the preference name column (calendar.registry.key.name)
  • search for "calendar.registry.key."
  • Search for "calendar.registry.key.disabled" entry
  • DoubleClick to set it to true
  • Restart Thunderbird in normal mode

After that, you should have this calendar disabled in Thunderbird and it should not try to synchronize it longer.

If the calendar is caching enabled you can try to disable caching and the reactivation of the calendar. If the problem persists, you can always disable it again after trying this. If problem solves itself, you can try the reactivation of caching.

    Now, I have the following partitions: 1 - start (default is unnamed), 2 - system (default is unnamed), 3 - Lenovo, 4 - LENOVO_PART. Unfortunately the Lenovo System Restore does not start once I pressed the Novo key, so I put the active recovery partition and I can't restore the original mbr, boot, and system. Everything would be fine, but the Novo key doesn't work, then press start the normal system of Windows 7, not the recovery system.

    Open "Command Prompt", right-click the title bar and choose "Properties".

    Go to the Layout tab.

    In terms of the "Position of the window", uncheck "Let system position window.

    Change the Left and Top values to your preference - on my system (left = 290, Top = 0) are ok.

    On the same tab, look at the picture under "Overview of the window" to try different values - the window position changes after entering a value in the left text box and pressing the tab key.
