  Your query runs again b/c you have not recovered all the lines of the grid (s). If you want to prevent the pain of the 2nd query to export, and then scroll to the bottom of the data grid prior to export. This will consume more memory, but it will save you the effort of rerun the query.

  You can also try to use COIL and the / * csv * / index of the sql developer.

  C:/your_file.csv COIL

  Select / * csv * / * of...

  Run through F5

  The main limitation here is the number of rows returned by your query like we default lines max to print in a script for 5,000. It's a preference, you can change well.
