  I'm working on unstructured FrameMaker files, in preparation for comverting them in structured documents. My client has placed a lot of creating notes in the sidehead of their documents. They are inserted under the blocks of text inside the anchored frames. I'm trying to retrieve the text of the images anchored so that I can pass in a new paragraph where it will be recovered by the conversion process.

  While browsing the reference ExtendScript for FrameMaker, I find a subject had, but it lists only the items and properties pointing to graph that can be entered in this setting, not the text ranges. In the data Explorer I find InvalidObject for the FirstGraphicInFrame and no pointers to any kind of TextFrame.

  Can someone tell me how to get a handle on the text block in the anchored frames?

  Hello again Rick,

  I got it today. I was looking for the wrong type of object. As the anchored frame resembles a framework anchored to me, not as a graphic, I never thought finding the FirstGraphicInDoc and then treat as a framework anchored with text inside blocks. The guide to FM script could do with a couple of good examples here and there. I changed the FirstSelectedGraphicInDoc to FirstGraphicInDoc and she finds the things I was looking for.

  Search for malware:

  Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

  • MalwareBytes (FREE)
  • SuperAntiSpyware (FREE)

  Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

  Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

  The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

  Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

• numericStepper - how to get the manual text entry

  I have a numericStepper that undergoes a change"listener that works very well when you use the keys up and down on the stepper (I can retrieve the value of the numericStepper). However, if the user types a value manually, then click off the Stairmaster, I can't retrieve the value of the stepper.

  Research on the web, I know that the 'change' event is enabled only via the arrows up/down on the NumericStepper, OR when the user presses the Enter key in the numericStepper text field.

  But I don't want the user to have to press Enter (they wouldn't always understand that they must do this - especially since there are several fields on the screen.

  So, I need to use the 'Focusout/focusouthandler()' event (right)?

  My problem, I can't retrieve the manual value typed in the NumericStepper.  The 'value' property always contains the last value set by the up/down arrows, or by pressing ENTER.

  For example,.

  • the value of the numericStepper indicates 75
  • I have manually enter 65 and then click outside of the numericStepper and go into another field.
  • The numericStepper component still shows 65, but when I trace the value of the numericStepper, it still shows 75.

  QUESTION: How do you get the value of the numericStepper textInput?

  In the lower left corner of the JPG attached you can see that the 'dashboard' has a shadow.  I created by accident and want to use the shadow for the control names, but I can't understand how I did it. The only options of 'Style' in my menu drop-down list of properties of text are plain, bold, italic, underline, outline, and bar.

  The help file implies that it can be done under MAC OS. I just did in Windows.

  Just drag the right or left side of the region be expanded to include most of the voice.

  While cycling (replace) each record cycle is in fact only the region of an audio file that contains all the audio recording of the entire global cycle.    Then you cycle 2-3 bar record and do you 5 times counting from 1 to 20 in the microphone... Each region will be only 1 respective bar where the recording of the cycle started while you were, however each region refers to an audio file that contains all the numbers from 1 to 20.

  Then expanding to the right or left side of the region - will provide you with the early start or finish late audio.

  Same thing for taking records, except that you must be in edit mode to manipulate it start/end region.

  The marker "anchor" is a character of "simple".

  So you can do the following if you have identified the character (and in this example selected it):
