• How to stop windows auto update 8.1?

  Good so today I opened my computer and a message poped upwards and told me that windows 8.1 would be updated in a single day. I already had windows 8.1 front and I hated it! It slowed my computer down way, and nothing has worked. I couldn't install most of my drivers I needed because they were not compatible with 8.1. Most of the time when I looked for something in my menu start it took about 30 seconds for the first word to show. FPS game has also declined. I know that windows 8.1 is * and it does not work on my computer because I already installed it twice and both times I had to copy all my computer and reset it to factory settings and copy everything back and who took nearly a week for the copy of things. Now I have twice as many things and I don't want to copy all my computer and restart it copies any return which will take several days and I need my computer for school. I won't be forced to install 8.1 and it won't let me cancel the update, so in a day or next time I reboot I get Microsofts worst OS on my computer and I'm not going to tolerate that. Microsoft also do not ask me for more details on what are my issues with 8.1, because they are extremely useless because you tell me things as clean my computer but that helps forever and you already tried to tell me to clean my computer several times and its just useless. So is useful or let a member of the community help me and stay calm!

  I don't know how useful my advice will be, but I'll tell what I did and what has spent so far, just in case it is helpful at all.

  As described by everyone, today (October 21) MS. instead of sending the usual applications annoying to update, said he was ready to install 8.1 and requested I do so soon.

  I killed both of them: but it was not a permanent solution with all that installed it's still out there.

  So I tried to find the root of the problem: I looked back through updates.

  The only windows update recently which had everything related to the modernization of the system that I had noticed was KB2952664. This little guy had no other apparent use only for "help" upgrade in the future. "

  So I uninstalled immediately.

  I also noticed that the task above upgrade called a .exe file, called

  C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\SetupHost.exe

  It's dangerous, I know, but I have renamed it specifically this file "SetupHost.bak", so there is no way it works again without having to reinstall or at least until I know it's course.

  O, and I have disabled, of course, auto-updates of all kinds of Ms.

  It has been 2 hours so far, and I am attached to the internet well.

  Let's see if we can keep this job.

  One last comment, however. If this small task I uninstalled was the source of this:

  (1) sneaky sneaky, sly, placing through especially on a time delay, so we do not know what was causing the problem until it was too late.

  (2) how all the flavors of the miserable did they prevent the end user to have his say.

  The ironic part is that I already earn 8.1 on my other machines, but this machine was fine with 8, and that's how I intend to stay. Ramming things through on users like really disappoints me.

  I had the same problem.  But finally found a solution.  If your listing is similar to mine, then keep.  XP Media Center Edition 2005 (sp2).  AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual-Core, HP a1630n desktop computer.

  Go to the HP website, search for sp37394-XP sp3 Upgrade utility Microsoft for systems equipped with AMD processors.

  I had the same 0 x 80240036, 0x8024400a error, but realize my problem was really get manually downloaded sp3 and installed without continue loop crashing and not error messages.

  Not a good idea to disable Windows Update, but you can make it a bit more user-friendly by going to control panel > Windows Update > change settings. Under the 'updates' position, choose either the second or third option. In this way, you will be informed of the updates, but do not have to install immediately.

  I'm working on Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4 and I got a requirement when there is a delete as a column in a Table in the ADF. When the user clicks on delete button that I need to display a confirmation message "You want to remove from the Table" OK CANCEL.
  
  If the user clicks the OK button, then I need to update the value of last_update_by to the one who connects and then deletes the line from the user interface but at the level of the table of database, that line will be there.
  
  Do I want to get the line given in the confirmation message pop-up and to add rowdata.setAttribute(last_update_by,'') in the class of the action of the OK button.
  
  I could get the rowdata table in class action OK button but when I do rowdata.setAttribute(last_update_by,'') that class action it gives me null pointer exception.

  I am currently in the middle of a download of automatic update of Windows (for Vista). I have a dial-up internet access downloads of this nature tend to be very slow. At the same time I am trying to download another (big) program via internet. Progress on the other this program are practically at a standstill, and I think that the current windows download may be an obstacle to my another download. In view of this, I want to 'Break' of my Windows activity until I can complete the other. How can I do this (I have try click left/right clicking on the download icon of Windows in the lower right task bar but nothing appears to facilitate a break). I see that this option for a break is not available w/XP, is it the same with Vista? If so, what would happen if I changed "automatic updates for Windows'"Manual updates for Windows"- this would allow me to pause. If the manual conversion take effect immediately w/the current would download?

  Once the downloads have started - if they are started automatically or manually, there is no break. If all goes well, it is too much and the process will be completed and then the other your download should go faster.  Just be patient and the next time, try to avoid multiple downloads - perhaps you may need to change the download of the scheduled update calendar at a time where you are still less likely to use the computer.

  User accounts in W7 has no option to not be reminded about the same updates again [I won't need not and cannot use] every thirty minutes or more for a few days.   1. open Windows Update by clicking the Start button, all programs and then click Windows Update.
  2. in the left pane, click on change settings.
  3. Select the desired option.

  I was at day Illustrator CC 16/01/14. That was a comment of bug fixes.

  They had some cool updates but also a bug that stopped my work.

  Step 1: Created a multilayer vector with fill in gradient and stroke.

  Step 2: Saved in the SVG - profile settings file: SVG 1.1

  Step 3: SVG file is not saved correctly so not able to regenerate - problem: work scale and canvas size has dramatically reduced to a minimum.

  Note: Same art is saved in .ai format perfectly.

  Requirement is SVG format only. How can I return the previous refresh.

  My MBP time machine is disabled from the beginning.

  To update others on the wire, the issue of size of artboard incorrect for some files would go on disabling "Reactivity" option in the dialog box options SVG.
