How to get the old BIOS for Satellite P100-454?
I want to downgrade my BIOS of 4.7 to the original.
But I have no file bios.bak more and I can't find any old BIOS on the Toshiba site.
How and where can I get the old BIOS?
I have a P100-454 runing Vista.
When the new BIOS update came out an old is no longer available.
What you can try is to contact nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer.
They have access to the database of Toshiba and they can help you with it.
Call and ask.
I am running Ubuntu on my M50 Pro. Could someone advise me what is the latest BIOS and how to install it?
The update of the BIOS here site seems havean exe file but I couldn't see the BIOS file to the breast?
Why do you want to update the BIOS?
You have any big trouble with your laptop?
The European driver Toshiba page provides BIOS BIOS for Vista and XP.
Both versions of the BIOS must be completed while the operating system is running!
If you use Linux on your laptop, you will not be able to update the BIOS!
Do you understand?
Once again; Updated the BIOS should be carried out ONLY if it of absolutely necessary. In other cases don't update!
I hope someone could help me. I'm looking for a new motherboard for my computer toshiba laptop because it replaced needs.
I own a laptop Satellite P100-347 of pspa6e-03302cen and have not been able to find this anywhere online forum. Although I found two suppliers of many motherboards of p100, they use numbers of alternative model in which I can't find anywhere in my documents or on the computer. The model numbers they use are something like A000008350 or a number starting with k. I'm sure that the supplier I found has the motherboard, I would need but I would need a list of all the numbers of the other party for my laptop, or a way to find the exact numbers. Any help on this is appreciated...
To be honest I really don't think that someone here can offer you this info. As you know, this info is for internal use and you can try to get this info from service provider authorized in your country. Sorry, but I don't see a better solution, except to wait here and hope someone can help.
I rolled again Firefox 4.0 to 3.6 and now my navigation bar still looks like instead of 3.6 4.0 how to get the old layout back?
The fastest way is to use the option 'Restore the default toolbar set' as shown here - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Back+and+forward+or+other+toolbar+items+are+missing

It's very strange
First of all you will not be able to download the old version of the BIOS for Toshiba page provides only the most recent versions.
So if you need the old BIOS, you will have to ask the help of the ASP
With regard to the issue;
I'm not very well if the BIOS has something to do with it, maybe you should unload until the battery would be total empty m and then try to charge it again.

Hi all! After the upgrade to 1.90 BIOS there is a problem with my SSD (840 EVO).
Where can I get old 1.70 BIOS?
Generally on Toshiba BIOS download page is always latest bios offers download and older versions are not available at all.
Can you please tell us what type of problem did you notice with new SSD?
Have you noticed this problem with the old BIOS version?
I can only imagine that Toshiba service provider in your country can get the older version for you. They have access to the database of Toshiba and I think they can get what they want.
How can I get the software "Bundled" for Win 7, I will install Win 7 full (no updates), in the moment is runing Vista on the laptop
As far as I know, you can't have Win7 recovery media. Laptops ship with Vista can update only.
I hang up my old Mac Pro in 2005. I used it to record video cameras and mainly music best of my plate rotating and stereo system - vinyl and CD disks via s-video and RCA cables and Firewire for Mac Pro.
The iMac 27 "new is primary Thunderbolt and I can't find a Thunderbolt conversion box so I can enter my analog input RCA and S-video signals. No indication on the Thunderbolt converters 'both ways' I can't exit analog in the iMAC, then the iMac as well?
They certainly run Final Cut Pro X on the iMAC, then how people get their old media and music in the machine?
I'm about to talk to the local Apple store, but the chances of finding someone who knows what they are talking about with the iMac, Thunderbolt and analog input is going to be a stretch.
You can probably use a converter DV firewire as a Canopus ADVC 110 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O= & sku = 349146 & gclid = CLSF0_qUnswC FQ8vaQod9VkFFw & is = REG & ap = y & m = Y & c3api = 187... and then an adapter firewire-crush.
Hello everyone is able to share the old 1.30 bios for satellite m70 151
Can you please tell us why you want to have the old version of the BIOS again? You have problems with your Satellite M70?
Only the newer BIOS versions are usually available on the Toshiba page.
If you want to install an older version of the BIOS of your laptop, you can try to contact the ASP in your country for assistance.
A little history: I recently bought a version of Win7 to a Z930 in Auckland from PB Tech shop. I've updated to a clean version of Win8 64-bit. My Win8 seems works ok but I noticed something strange in the Toshiba PC Health Monitor - apparently the Toshiba HDD/SSD Alert is not installed, so I don't understand not his iconic display in the health monitor (but the health monitor think my SSD is in "Good" shape - maybe it's reading the INTELLIGENT of my SSD interface, or maybe it's just saying 'Good' because the integrity monitor is apparently able to operate?)
I can easily find different versions of the Toshiba HDD/SSD Alert Utility in questionable Web sites - download, but I really prefer to get my Toshiba support drivers. Which leads to my question:
Where can I get the right drivers for PT23LA-01 009? NZ nor the webarea to Toshiba support have this model in their menus. The closest match seems to be
There is probably not much difference between a PT23LA-01F and a PT23LA-01 P but it is a bit of concern to be download & install the drivers for a chip that is no my model...
See you soon,.
PS: http://forums.toshiba.com/t5/General-Features-Knowledge-Base/TOSHIBA-HDD-SSD-Alert/ta-p/347120 advise me the area downloads for Toshiba support. He also advises "not all utilities are available for each model and operating system. During the installation of utilities, install the TOSHIBA value added first. "Sigh... so maybe my problem is that I installed the Win8 drivers & utilities order when build my own-building a Win8 pass win7? Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest... but if this is the case are here all other dependencies in these built?
> Where can I get the right drivers for PT23LA-01 009?
First series of Toshiba laptops (Australian, European, etc) is very similar to the other
Your model of laptop Australian Satellite Z930 * PT23LA * series is the same as the European model Satellite Z930 * PT23LE * series.
That's why the drivers, tools and utilities published for Satellite Z930 * PT23LE * series must be compatible with the Satellite Z930 * PT23LA * series.
To get all drivers for Satellite Z930 * PT23LE *, you should check this page:
There, you can get all win 8 - upgrade the drivers. Also the HDD/SSD Alert Utility v184.108.40.206
long in vain looking for the original BIOS for my satellite A210-1AO PSAELE-03Q00FRU (Vista32bit preinstalled).
Unfortunately I've updated and laptop lost the ability to disable.
VERY noisy DWD - ROM (TS-L632H) through the BIOS (but it worked without a doubt with the original BIOS)
It is also impossible to turn it off through the Device Manager (tried several times).
I looked for BIOS anywhere where I could (Yes, I tried to download & support from Toshiba for Europe, USA, Canada, China, Russia - no. satellite A210 PSAELE BIOS in lists, even for the A200 PSAELE).
Written in support of the Russia of Toshiba - no result. the point is that I don't know bios original version for my model, so I tried BIOS version 1.1, 1.4, 1.5, 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, 2.3 - no result.
The latest idea is to physically remove the DVD-ROM, but it is the solution.
So where can I find that BIOS? or you recoomend a truly customer friendly toshiba can support office?
Thanks in advance!
