  I have a problem of access to keyboard on screen when using specific features of Windows 8. The problem only occurs with my desktop PC, I also have a Surface Pro 3 without any problems. I can still use a physical keyboard to use searches, but sometimes my keyboard is not right next to me, while my mouse is always next to my hand. I found it faster to just short-circuit the keyboard input with the keyboard screen on when I browse the web. I know that the function should work because I do it all the time with my surface. Even with my keyboard attached to the surface, if I folded it with the kickstand on the back of the keyboard or just manually, click on the button of keyboard on screen with the keyboard typing normal position I can always get the screen keyboard works without any problem. I checked also with just my regular Asus laptop and who has the same problem as the office. This isn't really a problem with the laptop even if, as it is a standard design where the keyboard is not move or come off. Anyone has any ideas, it could be the cause?   • Using the screen keyboard or touch screen?

  There are two types of virtual keyboards on Windows 8, on-screen keyboard and touchpad. You may experience this problem if you are using a touchscreen keyboard on the task bar. We have checked this on our computer of Windows 8 and its default value of design.

  If you use the screen keyboard and the keyboard should not disappear if you use it in the modern user interface. Please confirm what virtual keyboard you use to help you also.
