How to get Vista 64 Bit from Toshiba Qosmio F50 - 10K-

Hello

A few days ago, I bought Qosmio F50 - 10 K but with Vista Ultimate 32 Bit.
It does not satisfy me
Does anyone know how to get Vista Ultimate 64 Bit from Toshiba?

This version has been developed for the Poland, but in this country there is no office representative or something like that. There are only distributors or shops who import laptops of distributors abroad.

Hello

You won't get a Toshiba 64-bit Vista.
What you can do is to buy the operating system Vista 64 bit full, original and reinstall instead of Vista 32-bit, which is already installed on your laptop.

I think 64-bit drivers for Toshiba Qosmio F50 Vista can be downloaded from the European driver Toshiba page!

Good bye

I need the OEM version of windows Vista 32 bit for Toshiba Portege M750 - 10G.

    Hello

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

With a Toshiba, you press 0 (zero) to start to start the ro process of factory of the recovery Partition recovery.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

    Hello

What OS came preinstalled on your laptop?
If it's a 32 bit Vista OS, then you can only get a 32-bit Vista Toshiba recovery CD.

If you want to install another OS, no matter if it of XP or Vista 64-bit, you must purchase the operating system of Microsoft.

PS: as far as I know the key to series used for Vista 32 bit OS is only an OEM key and it does not work with other operating systems!

  • How can I get Vista 64 bit to 32 bit?

I've upgraded to Windows Vista 64 bit and find that some programs will not run now. I would go back to 32-bit of Windows Vista.

32-bit 64-bit > is not an upgrade path. Make you a clean to achieve installation.

To reinstall Vista 32-bit, do a clean install with a full version of 32-bit Vista disk/license.

  • Can satellite L500D - I get Vista 64-bit?

I just buy new computer Toshiba Satellite L500D and I installed Vista 64 bit, but then I realized that some of the programs and games work dosent in 64-bit version of windows.

Can I still chance it if I recover this window or if I order Windows 7 (a free, I just pay what they send me) can I get it then? Or I can make clear installation and then chanse on 32-bit or install Windows xp and upgrade to Windows 7?

    Hey Buddy

All first if burn you the Toshiba Recovery disk using the Toshiba Recovery disk you can still restore Vista 64 bit any time you want. This disk contains an image of the factory settings and can be restored if you start from the disc.

Your question about the different versions of Windows (upgrade, etc) is quite complicated, but theoretically, you can install what you want. An upgrade to Windows 7 is possible if you are using Vista, update on XP isn t possible. In addition, you can pass only to the same version, which means that Vista 32 bit can only be upgraded to Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit to 64-bit only.

  • How to get Vista Solitaire to work in Windows 8

I just buy a new Dell laptop with Win 8 as the operating system.  I don't really like for new versions of Solitaire that I downloaded from the Windows store.  The computer that I replaced had feeding problems (not light) so I removed the hard drive and use it as an external hard drive for the new machine to win 8.  I would like to upgrade the version of Solitaire Vista (which I paid for) on the new computer Win 8.  I tried to copy the folder Solitaire and files and also the file cardgames.dll, but can not get the program to run.  Anyone know how to get the old version of Solitaire under Win 8?  I like the old version, because he gave you the statistics you can reset at any time running.  Too many constraints in the new version or the collection of solitaire programs Ms.  Since I don't have a legal copy of Vista solitaire it bugs just me I can't use it.

    Thank you

    Jerry

Microsoft has removed these Windows 8 games by design. But it can be downloaded and installed from here: http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/33814-Microsoft-Games-for-Windows-8.  They set up flawless and run the same on Win 7. • How to get Vista after installation of XP?

I got my laptop and it had Vista Home Premium pre-installed.

I installed XP on it and XP was not fine with my laptop, so I need to get him back because the drivers etc.

But I have no disk Vista but I have a serial key on the bottom of the laptop.

May I ask where you bought this laptop?

AFAIK all laptops come with the Toshiba Recovery CD. It s not a Vista CD but a Toshiba CD/DVD image.
The image of Toshiba contains the Windows operating system (XP or Vista), Toshiba drivers/tools/utilities and additional software.

If you want to retrieve the Vista on your laptop, then retrieve the machine with the recovery CD and you will get the laptop with factory settings

  • How to reinstall Vista 32 bit without disk or restore partition?

How to re - install 32 bit Vista Home Basic Edition without recovery or disk partition - laptop Presario CQ60? Can I please download the operating system?

Thanks for this PDF link. It is no longer useful. I downloaded the three files + service pack and I'll have a go at creating the bootable installation media just for the exercise. The product key is readable. The Presario CQ60, belongs to a neighbor, and originally had a 32-bit Vista Home Basic installed but the workshop re-installed a 64 bit OS when it became so slow as to be unusable. I saved partitions with all personal data using Acronis, but had no time to use the recovery Partition before leaving on vacation. The repair shop wiped everything, including the recovery Partition, before reinstalling the operating system. I am pleased to say that the repair shop agreed to re - install the 32-bit operating system so I have now to do something "real". Nevertheless thank you for pointing me to the finger this informative document. It will come useful when I go to install Windows7 on my own PC.

    Hello

You can get the product key of your Windows XP CD. To get the key from your computer, you might have to look by using a third party app that could help you achieve the same.

Please use your favorite search engine and browse for such a program that is used to.
