How to get Vista disks?

How do you get the records if they did not come with your computer? Obtained from Wal-Mart.

original title: disks of Vista, if not included?

There is no download free Installation of Vista discs - if they did not come with the computer, then you don't need them.  For the recovery disc for your system, contact the manufacturer (not Wal-Mart), who probably will sell them for you for a small fee.  They also sell a Vista installation disk authentic at a reduced price because you bought the machine - it depends on their mode of operation.  It is also possible that your system has the ability to create recovery discs if it has a recovery partition.  Yet once, you need to talk to the manufacturer of the computer - computer does different things each manufacturer (and we do not even know your manufacturer).

In short, you must contact the manufacturer for that matter.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

  • How to get Vista 64 Bit from Toshiba Qosmio F50 - 10K-

    Hello

    A few days ago, I bought Qosmio F50 - 10 K but with Vista Ultimate 32 Bit.
    It does not satisfy me
Does anyone know how to get Vista Ultimate 64 Bit from Toshiba?

This version has been developed for the Poland, but in this country there is no office representative or something like that. There are only distributors or shops who import laptops of distributors abroad.

    Hello

    You won't get a Toshiba 64-bit Vista.
What you can do is to buy the operating system Vista 64 bit full, original and reinstall instead of Vista 32-bit, which is already installed on your laptop.

I think 64-bit drivers for Toshiba Qosmio F50 Vista can be downloaded from the European driver Toshiba page!

    Good bye

  • How to get Vista Solitaire to work in Windows 8

I just buy a new Dell laptop with Win 8 as the operating system.  I don't really like for new versions of Solitaire that I downloaded from the Windows store.  The computer that I replaced had feeding problems (not light) so I removed the hard drive and use it as an external hard drive for the new machine to win 8.  I would like to upgrade the version of Solitaire Vista (which I paid for) on the new computer Win 8.  I tried to copy the folder Solitaire and files and also the file cardgames.dll, but can not get the program to run.  Anyone know how to get the old version of Solitaire under Win 8?  I like the old version, because he gave you the statistics you can reset at any time running.  Too many constraints in the new version or the collection of solitaire programs Ms.  Since I don't have a legal copy of Vista solitaire it bugs just me I can't use it.

    Thank you

    Jerry

Microsoft has removed these Windows 8 games by design. But it can be downloaded and installed from here: http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/33814-Microsoft-Games-for-Windows-8.  They set up flawless and run the same on Win 7. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions or post questions and we will be happy to help you resolve

  • How to get Vista 32 bit back?

After getting a Trojan horse I had to use recovery media. Only the supplied stand is a Toshiba Vista Home Premium 64-bit recovery media. After having used these disks and restore a healthy system, a number of programs that will not charge. I can only assume him comes from the portable computer that has 32-bit and restore disks were 64-bit. Why would it be so and how can I get a 32-bit system back so that I can load my programs?

    Hello

It will be interesting to know what model of laptop you have exactly. Please post the exact model laptop.

In General, every Toshiba laptop model comes with 32-bit Vista OS. You are 100% sure you've got the 64-bit operating system?

  • Satellite Pro A300D - how to get Vista drivers

I bought a Toshiba Satellite Pro A300D laptop a few days ago.
The first task was to wipe Vista Home Premium there and put professional Vista I needed to connect to a domain.

I did this and then install the drivers from the Toshiba driver download pages.
There were a lot of riders who have failed, but I managed to fix most of the problems aside when I display the laptop to a projector, I can start cutting the bottom of the external display only.

In any case, I am now led to believe that there is recovery of HARD drive on the disk that could give me the right drivers that they have been installed at the arrival of the laptop.
How can I get these out of the system on a disk for example so that I can resinstall?

    Thanks for your time.

    Hello

    > Anyway, I am now led to believe that there is recovery of HARD drive on the disk that could give me the right drivers that they have been installed at the arrival of the laptop. How can I get these out of the system on a disk for example so that I can reinstall?

I think that this is not possible because the recovery of HARD drive contains only unique image files and you will not be able to get only the unique drivers of the recovery image.

HARD drive recovery can be used to perform a new installation of operating system from the HARD disk (without using the disc).

The European driver Toshiba page usually contains all drivers Vista compatible and necessary for your laptop model. So I doubt that your problem with the projector might have something to do with the Vista drivers.

  • How to get Vista Home Premium recovery media?

I need to know if theres any websites to download the relocation of the disk for vista home premiumif anyone nows could you let me know please.

    No.; It does not exist.

Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  • How to get Vista after installation of XP?

I got my laptop and it had Vista Home Premium pre-installed.

I installed XP on it and XP was not fine with my laptop, so I need to get him back because the drivers etc.

But I have no disk Vista but I have a serial key on the bottom of the laptop.

May I ask where you bought this laptop?

AFAIK all laptops come with the Toshiba Recovery CD. It s not a Vista CD but a Toshiba CD/DVD image.
The image of Toshiba contains the Windows operating system (XP or Vista), Toshiba drivers/tools/utilities and additional software.

If you want to retrieve the Vista on your laptop, then retrieve the machine with the recovery CD and you will get the laptop with factory settings

  • Satellite P300D Pro - how to get Vista business after Ulimate upgrade?

6 bought weeks ago my first laptop - Toshiba Satellite Pro P300d 21F - it came with Vista preloaded Business. I could not use Windows Media Center, so I bought the upgrade to Ultimate. Big mistake because all my Toshiba set up has now gone - no internet, no Norton, no use of DVD (apparently my graphics card has a limited capacity) and all my software loaded - Toshiba and the rest is now gone - but it apparently is in a directory called the old Windows.

If I had known that a little upgrade would be so upset I would not have been worth it - so the question of the attack, it is how to cancel the apparently unduable and return to mental health with the Business version and no library.

Thanks in advance for any help

    Hello

All Toshiba laptops come with preinstalled recovery Toshiba disk creator tool.
You can find a shortcut on the desktop when you start it or the first time.

It s is strongly recommended that you create this recovery disk because it allows you to restore the system again.
    Have you created this disk?

If this isn't the case, you can check if your HARD drive recovery option still works.
To do this, start Notepad, and then press F8. Then an advanced boot menu should appear.
Here you choose the first option called fix my computer.
In the new window select Toshiba Recovery.
This would begin the recovery procedure and install again the image of Toshiba.

  • Satellite A200 - how to get Vista back?

    Hi all

Recently I bought used Satellite A200. The person who used it removed Vista and it seems, he removed also hidden HARD drive partition, I need. The only thing I have is the key product vista Home premium on the back side.

Is it possible to go back to vista? Thank you

    Hey Buddy,

Why must you the hidden HARD drive partition? If Windows is deleted, the hidden HARD drive partition will not help you. It's just a feature of Microsoft for the Windows recovery environment and t can restore windows.

In any case, I think you need Toshiba Recovery disk to restore the version preinstalled Windows.

I put t know what Satellite A200 you have exactly, but no more, you can order a recovery disc [here | https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx] or ask a [certified maintainer | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/generic/ASP_SUPPORT/].

  • How to get Vista to accept that I can read my product key correctly?

I had to reinstall my windows vista Basic.

When I try to activate using the product key on the label of COA that is stuck to the bottom of the laptop, he said, it is incorrect and can not activate the operating system.

    How to activate?
What problems I have if she goes to the RFM?

Check once again, with a magnifying glass.

The only other option to try to activate by phone.

    telephone activation.
    Click the Start button
    in the search box, type
    SLUI 4
    and press the Enter key
Follow the instructions - but when asked which service you need the ansafone phone, don't answer - it should oblige the operator to answer, who can deal with you.

Another (slight) possibility, is that the license store is corrupt - in this case, try this.
Please try the steps below to re-create the files of the Bank. This can solve the problem.

    (1) open an Internet browser window.
    (2) type: %windir%\system32 in the browser's address bar.
    (3) find the CMD.exe file
    (4) make a right click on CMD.exe and select "Run as Administrator"
    (5) type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you're sure, select Yes)
    (6) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
    (7) type: Rename tokens.bar tokens.dat
    (8) type: cd %windir%\system32
    (9) type: net start slsvc
    (10) type: cscript slmgr.vbs - FLIR (it may take time for this will be complete, please be patient)

    Reboot TWICE
If necessary, then you may need to enter the product key and activate it. (check back for a COA sticker!)

    Reset

Once complete, please post back with a new report MGADiag

  • How to get Vista Windows Media Center to really stop video

During playback of a video in WMC the stop button takes me to the screen with various options beginning with 'Done '. When
'fact' is selected the video goes into the small PIP with square stopped blue and remains here and in "Now Playing".

How do I really stop a video rather than have him act as if he is only suspended.

When I press 'stop' and 'fact' I want that it shut down completely.

    Hi Dazema,

It is the occurrence of same process even in my computer when any type of video. This is normal.

You can also pass the option to click on the left arrow to return to Windows Media Center options after stopping the video or the video playback.

  • Reinstalling Windows, how to get the disk recovery or a license Windows from Dell?

I'm fixing an Alienware M17x R4 for my client.

I talked with support before X mas 3 times. They said that they send the restore CD TOMORROW. I have the actual recorded call. Then they called 2 DAYS later and said that they could not confirm address, which is apparently derived from the record of initial purchase (?). Then they say that they send CD TOMORROW again. I'm about to give up Dell and buy a freaking OEM license. In fact, who suggested what Dell support! But then I have to load the Windows license to the client and tell them that Dell is hopeless.

I would use a product key sticker to install since the OEM disc, but Dell has no more than 10 Windows.

My QUESTION is; All the difficulty in getting the Dell Windows CD, I mean, it's really worth?

Technically Dell sold a windows license but have not given one for the client, so it's a fraud.

The key to the COA is incorporated in starting UEFI by Windows 8 moving forward, as such, as long that you install the correct version of Windows came with the computer, you should not put in any key.
