  1. If I create a vi on a machine without RG installed and then move it to a machine with the Receiver General installed, will be always recognized tags?

  2 RG will scan the three areas of a VI for references: VI Description, control/indicator Description and diagram commentary (free labels). That's why he won't see a reference on the front panel (for example data text or text of the label or a caption).

• How to hide objects outside the window of the scene?

  Using Flash Mx 2004. I created a few objects that are outside of my scene and slip into the stadium. The only problem is that they are visible when I publish the flash movie. In other words, I don't want to see them until they are in the stage space. Is there a way to make my objects disappear or be seen only in the stage area and not outside of it?

• How to get rid of the reference lines on the front panel

  I forgot how I created a couple of horizontal and vertical lines on the front panel. It seems that the original on the front lines. When I move my program to another monitor with a different resolution, the layout is messed up because of the reference lines cannot change the resolution. Everybody respected this before? How to get rid of them?

  Ah, I figured out. I accidentally selected the "scale with objects pane" from the context menu of a button in the tab. This is whence the reference lines.

• How can I place a new element behind an old object on the front

  is there a ' it forward "or"behind"button.  right now I just cut and paste the old item in front of the new element, but not a good way to do it... If it's a var shared in a loop, it may fall back in the wrong place on the block diagram when I stick it back in the front panel.

  I have a few controls on the front whose visibility is changed (on or off) at run time. The problem is that if I stop the Run time, the visibility of the control remains in the running in design mode state. So I am not able to see or find the control to make changes in design mode.

  Perform the following steps to display a hidden front control or indicator. You can also hide the indicators and controls on the front panel.

  1. Find the terminal block schema for the object. "If you have multiple devices with the same type of data, right click on the terminals and select visible elements" Label in the context menu. Find the object with the label that corresponds to the object hidden façade.

• NEED HELP FAST - façade freezes when I run my program. I have all the events to the interaction of the façade. I don't have a chance to launch an event that I can't even click on anything whatsoever on the front panel?

  I'm pragmatic disabling most of the façade with a particular event. This freeze happened when I launched this event and then stopped the program in the middle of the event. While the program has been frozen at all times no matter how many times I turned on my computer and turned off and restarted labview. I tried with pragmatism, allowing some of these objects on the front façade of the loop of events without result. What else could it be? When I select the program stops at the structure of the event and is waiting for him. When I have a finite number of thread for the time terminal timeout the timeout event runs and then waits for the structure of the event and I'm still not allowed to do anything.

  OK, the moral of the story when programmatically disabling an object to front panel make sure you have the code that allows very early in the program, changing constantly in the middle of the program changes its active status. I tried enabling some of these objects, but not all. When I tried allowing each of them, I realized that everything in the deactivation of the tab control tab control disables not only the ability to change the tab control. IT WASN'T THE STRUCTURE OF THE EVENT. The guys help OR on the phone told me that the structure of the event was obviously the question. I'm fine now.

• How to scroll through the front panel when running

  I'm using LabVIEW 8.5. I want to scroll the front panel automatically according to the moving object. I enclose a vi for example, in which I move the image, but if it is out of range of screen I have to scroll manually horizontal scroll bar to see the position of the image, it is possible that it automatically scrolls according to my position of the object.

  Well, now I see what you wanted. From my point of view using front panel scrolling for this animation is wrong way (if not I do not know your final objectives).

  I would recommend that you use the image for this control. Here the work by hand a little more, but you will get better results and will not scroll to your façade.

• How to add a record button on the front panel to save waveform data

  Hi, I'm new kind of LabVIEW and I worked on a code for an agilent oscilloscope communicate via GPIB and so far it works well on the collection of these two analog channels one by one, "Not UNLIMITED" but it does the trick (vpp, Vrms, frequency, etc.).  I've added the feature to add data to a .csv file waveform (problem: opens a dialog box until the user gathers all the data.) Solution: I want the user to save the. File CSV whenever he wants to use later on the front panel). I've added another feature to get a snapshot of the curve waveform (problem: opens a dialog box.)   I would recommend adding a case structure just around the two record VI and a button to check the condition of the structure of each case. If you want a button to control both save functions you can put the two record functions in the same structure of business controlled by a single button. You are right in saying that the loop will cause your code runs until the stop button is pressed or until the stop condition is met. If you are wanting the while loop to stop once the recorded information you can use the button that you use to control structures case to also stop the while loop. I hope this information helps.

  I'm new to labview and have written a vi using a data logger NI USB-6008 reading from a sensor that performs a calculation and then displays a value. I am trying to put the logo of our company on the front screen when running, but can't work out how to do it. The logo is a jpeg file.

  Drag / move your jpeg file from windows Explorer to the front panel of your VI should work.

  Try to turn off the indicator. Node property or right click Advanced-> checked-> disabled state.

  Long story, long:

  I created a little utility like a VI.  The utility accepts command-line arguments, reads a file, outputs (using .NET) on the console, and then must close.  The front panel is empty, and the program is expected to completed in a fraction of a second.  In fact, I bet that "demand" fresh General takes longer than the actual program.  I would have coded in another language, but I can read only the cluster in a binary file with LabVIEW.

  In LabVIEW 2010, I have 16 indicators of chain on the front panel. I can't have the label for each Visible on the front panel, so I turned it off. But in the block diagram, I need distinguqish one of the other, so I need to make the label (name) visible.

  In the block diagram, if I select indicators Sting all together and go to properties and make the label visible, it makes visible labels on the front but not visible in the block diagram. What good is that?

  Right-click on the terminal of BD and make visible > labels.

  It probably will be the FP control show its label as well.  Then go to the FP control, right-click and go to Visible > labels and uncheck the box.

  The terminal of the comics will have a label, and control of the FP will not.

  In the properties of the category VI "Appearance of the window", go into customize.

  In the appearance of window customize, uncheck the check box allow the user to resize the window. It will be useful.
