  Hello people, hoping that someone has a solution for this, I found very little duscission online on the use between the Japanese and English InDesign versions.

  I'm working on the conversion of Japanese books in English, and I use Indesign CS5.5. Here is a screenshot of the anIindesign file that I received from a Japanese publishing house:

  

  These green grids are certain types of Japanese column guides, I guess. I have tried everything to get rid of them but no luck, making it very boring to work on! Tried to hide everything under 'Grids & Guides' and the 'Extras', no help. The only way I've found to hide is to display pages in 'Preview' mode, but that hide a lot of things that I would like to know.

  Someone has an idea on how to hide or remove these Japanese guides?

  Looks like you're right. They are Chinese-Japanese-Korean grids that are part of the Asian versions of InDesign, but seem not to be accessible through the user interface of the Western version.

  But they can be disabled by the script. Try this javascript:

  DM (Message Delivery) file types are not Windows files, they can be generated by a third-party program.

  This particular file type is often associated with audio data and can be hosted on some cell phones to be used as ringtones or multimedia clips. To my knowledge, these files can be generated by your mobile phone.

  Note: you can go ahead and remove these files only if you notice that the files do not contain any important information.

  If this happens without connect you all devices (like mobile PHONES), this may be a virus or malware activity. You can run a virus scan to get rid of them

  Here are the usual methods to solve this problem:

  • Restart the computer with your CD to repair Windows, then use system restore to set Windows in a few days (only works if the problem occurred recently).
  • Logging in as a different admin account and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if create you an alternative admin account).
  • Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you have activated the account administrator and know its password).

  If you are sure that there are no mail to be kept in the old account, it can be deleted.

  Press Alt or F10, where the menu bar is hidden.

  If you forgot the password of the BIOS, then contact Toshiba service partner in your country to remove the password.

  In the photo below, see two screws on top that are fairly close together. I let them ' cos I think they can join the Assembly and I don't want to unscrew the Assembly - the brackets that hold the hard drive, I don't have to

  And to the bottom of the image, you see two screws unscrewed, but the one I found that I could not even remove the hard disk.  And there is a little black thing between them that looks like a screw, but is not.

  I guess I could remove all 4 screws, but then the Assembly could come off.   For now, I just want to remove the hard drive.

  The ejector arms have a PIN that goes into the screw holes to hold the reader in.  Once you raise the Lock ejector you lift a little far and out on this side.  The other side has fixed pins.
