    See the listener.ora file. It is usually $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/listener.ora

    You can see what listener is associated with a file.

    Details will generally be like this

    >
    LSNR1 =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =

    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = instance1)(PORT = 1666))

    A listener is used when a client wants to connect to the database server. If you connect directly to the server without using the name of the instance, then you can connect even if you stop the service.

  • How to identify my Satellite phone?

    Hi, I need help. I have a BIOS problem with my laptop satellite, but I don't know what type is this laptop. I don't know the serial number. Can someone help me find the type please? The serial number is: 31678361. The laptop is since the year 2000.

    Hello

    Well, as far as I know, you can find at the bottom of the unit label with some information about this unit.
    You can also ask the service partner for detailed information about the model of your device.
    In the user manual, you will also find the name of the unit.

    There is no site to put product keys in to see what they are.

    If you have a genuine Microsoft Vista DVD, it gives you the opportunity to enter your product key during the installation to determine the version that is installed.

  • How to identify which switch in the Panel called the function?

    Here I have some 192 switches and 192 leds corresponding to each switch,

    If a switch is on(say 10th) consequence (10th) led should light up.

    I want to use the same function for all pairs of led switch.

    all I could do was to check the switch in a loop and then set the individual leads, but I find it very little effective way to do it.

    int switchOnOff (int, int int event control panel CVICALLBACK,
    void * callbackData, int eventData1, int eventData2) is the function.

    None of these arguments I can use it to extract what (the unique id for this turnout) switch called the function so that I can pass corresponding led glow?

    It occurred to me now that the table is not necessary at all: you can simply assign to each switch the corresponding ID led the callbackData, so that the code is even simpler than my previous:

    // At panel load:
    SetCtrlAttribute (panelHandle, PANEL_SWITCH1, ATTR_CALLBACK_DATA, (void *)PANEL_LED1);
    ...
    SetCtrlAttribute (panelHandle, PANEL_SWITCH192, ATTR_CALLBACK_DATA, (void *)PANEL_LED192);

    // In the control callback
    GetCtrlVal (panel, control, &sts);
    SetCtrlVal (panel, (int)callbackData, sts);

    To answer your last question, "Management Board" means immediately after the call to LoadPanel.

  • The CPU fan does not work on Satellite A60

    Hello world

    I have a little problem with my laptop.
    I noticed my cpu fan does not work. only the second fan are working fine. (general fan)

    my PC is a satellite A60
    You have a solution to find why my fan does not work?
    THX

    Hello

    I put t know what fan you mean because I saw only a single fan at the bottom of the unit. However, perhaps the second fan is hidden.
    It's not easy to say why the fan doesn't work. Maybe dust clog up the fan and cooling module may not work correctly. You can try to use the vacuum cleaner to clean the fan.
    If it doesn t work so I guess there must be something wrong with the material and to fix this, replace this part. But in this case I recommend to contact the after-sales Service of Toshiba partner. He has much more experience in such cases.

  • Satellite A60 - how to fix a female connector on the motherboard?

    I have a Satellite A60 which is since 2005. About 6 months ago the CPU fan started running all the time and recently, the computer began to fade.

    Thinking that it is ongoing overheating, I decided to completely disassemble the computer, clean it thoroughly, remove the old thermal paste and install one DIMM memory more important.

    Well, everything goes like clockwork, until I tried to put the connector of the power on switch in the plug. It wasn't easy so I put gently a little more pressure on the connector using tweezers. At this time, the socket broke apart from the motherboard.

    I don't have the tools for a welding job, but could a competent technician successfully reattach or is there a new mobo in my future.

    Thanks for the tips!

    Dan

  • Mini-PCI I have a Satellite A60-302 - myth or reality?

    Hello!

    I have a Satellite A60-302 (PSA60E-00J030HU) and theoretically there is no MiniPCI slot in the computer (at least it does not mention the Hungarian manual), but the online manual (preinstalled on your laptop) refers to a cover on the bottom as "Cover WLAN", that material incidentally doesn't not part of this model. (And the part of the motherboard under this coverage is not something that resembles a slot MiniPCI, well that according to the English manual and specifications online to some Toshiba Page, I found in the Linux knowledge base, it must be part of this config.)
    Allright, there is no MiniPCI, I said, I should buy a PCMCIA CardBus WiFi adapter. I thought I'll check on the toshiba online store, to be sure, I'm buying quality products. But when I choose 'Specific product Options' and choose my config, the Bank's research concludes _only_ MiniPCI solutions for my laptop, which theoretically (and physically) does not support.
    Is it not a bit strange? :)

    Hello
    beginning of the "742" series machine was delivered with Wifi (Build-in).

    But even if a Mini PCI card would fit in your Machine, the problem is that you have no generation of antenna in.

    These are normally inside the display cover.

    So the best way is to buy a Wifi USB key. His fabulous work but not manufactured by Toshiba.

    Running perfectly with my A60-102...

    Good bye

  • How to remove the HDD on my Satellite A60 password?

    Hello

    I have a problem with my hard drive on my Satellite A60. I want to restore my computer with the DVD-rom, but my HARD drive is not detected in the BIOS. I have test the HDD, utilities and it says that the HARD drive is locked with a password?

    What is this password? I have not active this password and I don t know how to release it.
    Can you help me? I have restored the default setting in the BIOS, without success. Help me!!!

    (I'm sorry for my bad English)

    You can t remove a HARD drive password. No one can do that.

    I put t understand why this happened, but check the HARD drive in a laptop or in an external enclosure.

    Maybe the drive is defective and must be replaced.

  • How to reformat my Satellite Pro A60

    Hello world.

    I have a very old laptop (Satellite Pro A60) and have just started to use again (will have to buy a new one soon), but this 'thing' is incredibly slow. I want to just reformat the drive, but I am at a loss how to do. It was in fact the portable parents first if I do not have the original XP disc.

    How can I do this? Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

    If you wish to format HDD books, then you will need to use an operating system.

    Usually, the laptop came with the Toshiba Recovery CD.
    This recovery CD contains the OS, drivers, tools and additional software.

    You must simply boot from this CD (recovery CD) or Microsoft Windows CD and the operating system install.

    That s it!

  • I have 2 databases I use Lightroom how to identify objects in one and not the other, I changed

    I use my cell phone as my computer on travel. When I come home, I transfer my data to my main catalog on my desktop. Sometimes, the files remain on my laptop and I made changes to some of my files.

    I was trying to identify objects through finder that I've changed since I added changed files from my laptop to my desktop. My intention was to identify the XMP files that have changed since I added the files from my laptop to my desktop.

    By analyzing what I see in the finder, I find that Lightroom data seem unwise. For example, is as follows the first line in the finder

    File: _MG_1180.xmp

    Date added: 05/05/16

    Creation date: 16/04/16

    Update: 16/04/16

    1. I've been constantly adding to my catalog when I import my SD card in my laptop. I'm waiting for my date added date should be the same as the date of the creation Date. Why date is later than the date of creation?

    2. to play back my 2 libraries, can I just move my files from one to the other xmp?

    Do not do this through xmp. Some elements are never written to .xmp.

    To do this through the sequence of command as follows:

    • On the laptop, in Lightroom, select the photos you want, then use the menu file-> export as catalog command. If the pictures are not on the desktop, check the box that says "negative."
    • Copy all the files created on the desktop
    • On the desktop, use the command file-> import from another catalog and point Lightroom in the laptop just transferred catalog file.

    Which leaves the question of how to identify the photos changed recently. Create a collection of smart with the criterion that the modification Date is greater than YYYY-MM-DD, where of course which is the date of interest.
