How to implement a local SOA/BPM project using remote resources via VPN

Hello world

Sorry for the dummy question, but I am a beginner and I'm in trouble with this problem.

This is the scenario: I have to carry a BPM project using JDev 11.1.1.7 on my local environment and then deploy them on remote servers via VPN where a development environment is configured.

All services are on remote servers.

My question is: what I put up in my local environment?

1 DB connection (distance connettion)

2 configuration of MDS to share components?

3 WebLogic server?

3. what else?

Any link o idea to share?

Thank you.

Fairlie

Hello

If you need to deploy and test in your front room to deploy remotely, then you will need to set up all the people in your premises + SOA Suite... If you need to do is put on your local, but can check remotely, you only JDev and connections...

See you soon,.

  • How to acquire the values of CFP 1800 use FP read via RS 232?

    Hello

    We have an application in which there is a provision of the redundancy of the system. By redundancy, I want to say that I have a CFP-2120 and a host PC. Both are accquiring real-time AI module using concept shared Variable values. Each of these variables is linked with a particular channel of the Module & will acquire the data automatically. Initially when the system is Ok, the PC acquires data from the PSC 1800 using ethernet. Now, suppose that the ethernet connection has been lost, now that the PC will not be able to acquire. At this point, I want my PC to acquire data from the PSC 1800 using RS 232. In this case the binding of the variable with channel won't be of such use. I think that in this case, what I can do is to accquire data .vi FP READ and update the variable by plugging the variable for each channel.

    What else will be the solution. Can someone tell me if my colleague and I are on the right track or if the best solution is here, please share with us.

    The move will be highly appreciated.

    Thank you best regards &,.

  • How to implement ad hoc approaval in ES2?

    Salvation process experts,

    I am going through a single requirement where I need to implement an ad hoc approval in our process LC management service component.

    Really say that I have no idea on an Ad-hoc approval. Please let me know:

    What is ad-hoc approval?

    How to implement?

    Where we will use this and what the advantages and disadvantages of this method?

    Waiting for useful answers.

    Thank you

    Praveen

    What is ad-hoc approval?

    It is usually a process where the user can define who will be the next person in the process. In this case who will approve the request. The next approver is not set in the process, but it was decided by the final user. So they have total flexibility in terms of decide who participates in the approval procedure.

    How to implement?

    First define an area on the form for the user to specify the following in the process approver.

    Have a process with the user service and specify the initial user of a variable. This variable would get filled with the name of the approver defined by end users when they fill out the form.

    I know how to deploy cause it is Ant-sca - deploy.xml under the soa Server directory.

    Thanks and greetings

    Hi hilly
    When I looked at the file ant - sca - deploy.xml, I could see a defintion of task named undeployComposite. See if you can run this task something similar to using

    Ant Ant-sca - deploy.xml undeployComposite or something in that sense.

  • How to implement the process of climbing BPM 11 g?

    Hi Experts,

    Can any help with process step by step how to implement climbing for 3 levels...

    For example, User1 doesn't complete the task at some time say 1 day then this task must be wound to its Director Say User2 and if is not finish it even then it must be the second Director of level for 1 day as well for the third level manager.

    Note:
    Where as one when user 1 task is up to the manager (User2) then user 1 tasks should be sent to the User2, even if its value from table.

    Please please experts throw some idea on this with an example...

    Kind regards
    Pavan

    Hi Pavan,

    There are couple ways to do this. This is the very detailed description of what you would do if you want to set your climbing inside the process using the timer to limit events.

    1. Add three interactive activities and put them in three roles representing the roles for your users 1, 2 and 3.
    2. Add a "Timer intercept the event" on the edge of your Interactive activity for your user 1. Associate the new timer event with Interactive activity for your user 2. This will create a new event of border and climbing you want for the user 1.
    3. the name of the new event to limit 'Question degenerate'-> in the "Application" tab, define the new event of the timer limit as an event interrupting-> specify the range to be "1 d" (one day).
    4. in the same way, add another event of the timer limit interruption between your interactive for user 2 and 3 activities.

    I could have missed something, but it looks like your table is just a process data object variable that will be made as part of the payload with the work item instance when he travels through the process.

    For human tasks for user 2 and user 3, you must assign the task to the Manager of the previous participant.

    Hope this helps,
    Dan

  • How to implement the wafer map using LabVIEW?

    Hello LabVIEW Masters!

    I have a project which includes control and searching for information on a PROBER. One of the difficulties I have now is how to implement a WAFER card using LabVIEW. According to the requirements of my client, the element of pads varies between 6 k and 23 k. I guess that do everything (a = a ctl/indicator led) will be a hell of a task, especially on how to effectively manipulate each elements. Does anyone have a better idea on the way whose that?

    Please, I seriously need your help...

    Thank you and best regards,

    Dennis DG

    Hi Dennis,

    This wafer GerdW post card appears to me as a sort of histogram (for example http://www.ni.com/white-paper/4158/en#toc3);

    Altenbach post well this example that shows how to use a plot of intensity to create a 2d histogram:

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/overlay-plots-as-intensity-graph/m-p/211222#M119248

    Learn how it works and try to adapt it to your specific task.

  • How to implement and use properly the (long) SourceStream.seek?

    I create a custom DataSource and local SourceStream for streaming of video files (the files are stored in the memory card). I chose to use the data source instead of just creating a player given the path of the file because I have additional processes to be made between bed bytes of video files and the player to obtain the data, and I need to implement look/forward/back features fast outside the play/pause/resume/STOP.

    Then to add these features, I implemented the method SourceStream.seek (long) using setCurrentPosition (int) of the SharedInputStream method.

     public long seek(long where) throws IOException {
            if (where < 0) {
                where = 0;
            }

            synchronized (readLock) {
                synchronized (connectionLock) {
                    sharedInputStream.setCurrentPosition((int) where);
                        currentPosition = sharedInputStream.getCurrentPosition();

                        return currentPosition;
                }
            }
        }

    The problem is, when I explicitly call the seek (long) method to move to a time particular/frame, the video remains stuck in a State of buffering. In addition, I'm worried about the method with a parameter int SharedInputStream.setCurrentPosition (int). I fear that this would cause an exception since I play video files.

    I also tried to use the InputStream methods reset(), and skip (long), but when you watch the video, an exception is thrown:

      public long seek(long where) throws IOException {
            if (where < 0) {
                where = 0;
            }

            synchronized (readLock) {
                long now = 0;
                try{
                    sharedInputStream.reset();
                    now = sharedInputStream.skip(where);
                } catch (Throwable t){
                    e.printStackTrace();
                }
                return now;
            }
        }

    My questions are:

    1. how the seek (long) method must be implemented using the SharedInputStream.setCurrentPosition (int)?

    2. Similarly, how can you search for videos using the methods InputStream.reset () and .skip (long)?

    3. What is the right way to call the seek (long) method if you want to go to a particular time frame /?

    Thank you!

    Take a look at the following KB that has a very good specimen annex and explains the issues you have raised: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Streaming-media-Start-to-finish/ta-p/488255

    It uses a CircularStreamingBuffer, and the implementation of seek can handle both seeks in the buffer zone, or outside that case made an additional http request.

    For any initiative the user seeks, you should just use player.setMediaTime () as shown in the example, and it must call your call the implementation on the lower level.

  • How to give access to a single project within EPS P6 8.3 node?

    Hello

    I got two EPS, OBS1 and OBS2nodes.

    For a user, we can assign a responsible manager as OBS1 and give access to all projects within the OBS1.

    But now, I want to give access to the same user for only one project, which is present in OBS2.

    How to do this?

    OBS2 we had close to 100 projects and all are confidential.

    How to give access to the only project in the node of the EPS.

    You try to implement security on a more granular level. What is described in the following note on My Oracle Support

    How to set the OBS to restrict the resources to see all the projects that the responsible manager is assigned to (Doc ID 892565.1)

    Hope this is what you are looking for.

    Kind regards

  • Ask about the status of the process in SOA/BPM suite 11 g

    Hello
    I'm new to BPM 11 g. I noticed that whenever I transferred the part my application of BPM SOA, process already running instances are becoming obsolete. Does that mean that in a production environment, if I turn the part of SOA, all active processes will become obsolete and all running tasks will be left of the BPM workspace? Is it possible to control this behavior so that the task that is already running become not stale?
    Thank you
    Rahul

    Hi Raju.
    Yes, it's true with all versions of SOA/BPM EXCEPT for the latest version of SOA 11.5 with Feature Pack (FP). Only SOA 11.5 Feature Pack have the opportunity to redeploy the workflow and at the time of the redeployment options to contiue running existing instances without them becoming stale.

    Now coming to older versions of the soa, one option is to create a different version of the SOA Workflow each time that fire you as MyWokflow 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, etc. Don't overwrite the same versions. When you deploy JDeveloper for application server or build a jar of the SCA, you have options to give the version number. So give each time a different version number and you can deploy this version. Now another workflow so hopefully you deploy the rest of the projects like TaskForms, pots, etc of the EJB as a separate EAR of workflow JAR. Best practice is to deploy any Worklfow application in the form of 2 modules. A JAR of workflow and other EAR file that has all the stuff (projects), with the exception of the EAR.

    Thank you

  • How to implement backup-lamw script (ghettoVCBni.sh)?

    Who can help me (to understand how) to implement the (page ghettoVCBni.sh) lamw backup script? Even after a lot of Googl'ing I don't know how to do this (.. newbie...). I'm currently under ESXi with 2 data warehouses the and would like to backup computer virtual from the first to the second. I guess I ran the script on the ESXi host computer but can not find a way to the place to go. I would really appreciate if someone will write a howto (small).

    Thanks in advance, Edmond

    1) you must enable access to the ESXi console.

    Follow these instructions to do so: http://www.vm-help.com/esx/esx3i/ESXi_enable_SSH.php

    2) option: if you mainly in Windows (if no, go to 3 ), open ghettoVCBni.sh in Notepad (it is asuming you have already downloaded the script of http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-8760) and change:

    VM_BACKUP_VOLUME = / vmfs/volumes/kevin-test-nfs-storage

    in order to take into account any data store that you want to store your backups in. In your case, it would be the name of your second local data store. The data MUST have store a vmfs/volumes/above IT. Another option, you should look at is the previous backups how you want to keep for each virtual machine. This can be changed on the line:

    VM_BACKUP_ROTATION_COUNT = 3

    WARNING: DO NOT PRESS RETURN AFTER ALL AS notebook of LINES to the INTERIOR THAT IT CAN break INTO THE SCRIPT.

    3) SCP the file ghettoVCBni.sh on the ESXi server. You can use WinSCP (user name is root, password is any password you gave ESXi) to do if you are running Windows, use something else, the *nix scp command. (for example from the source running: scp ghettoVCBni.sh [email protected]: )

    4) SSH into the ESXi server using "putty" or something physically go (or use Digital KVM or other) to the ESXi console itself and log in as root.

    5) make a file on the ESXi server that lists the virtual machines that you want to back up.

    There are two simple ways to do so:

    Has) create the file backup_vms inside the ESXi console

    If you know how to use a * nix like vi text editing tool, then use it to create a text file that has all the display names for the virtual machines that you want to back up. Don't forget that there is a new line for the display name for each virtual machine.

    If you don't know how to use a * nix text editing tools, the easiest (though tedious ) to do this inside the ESXi console is:

    VM1 echo > backup_vms

    VM2 echo > > backup_vms

    VM3 echo > > backup_vms

    To check your work, run: cat backup_vms

    the output should look like:

    ~ # cat backup_vms

    VM1

    VM2

    VM3

    ~ #

    If it doesn't, run: rm backup_vms and start over (so note the tedious ). Someone chime if there is a way to do this without rm'ing or edit with vi.

    B) create the backup_vms file it on a separate system and the SCP in the ESXi server. You must be careful, however, not use not Notepad because after each return, he will add in ^ M (where the warning at the top). It's bad. Again, you can check your work by using the cat backup_vms inside the ESXi console (after you scp it exceeds of course) to make sure there are not the weird characters.

    Don't forget, the virtual machines inside the backup_vms of the file MUST be saved on the host of ESXi (i.e. existing in the inventory of the ESXi host in vi-client). In addition, it would be easier to have the ghettoVCBni.sh and backup_vms file to be in the same directory. For this document, this is assuming that you are in /. To make sure you're there, use pwd. To get there use: cd /

    5) if you follow the optional step 2 then edit the ghettoVCBni.sh script using a text inside the ESXi console editor and change:

    VM_BACKUP_VOLUME = / vmfs/volumes/kevin-test-nfs-storage

    in order to take into account any data store that you want to store your backups in. In your case, it would be the name of your second local data store. The data MUST have store a vmfs/volumes/above IT. Another option, you should look at is the previous backups how you want to keep for each virtual machine.

    This can be changed on the line:

    VM_BACKUP_ROTATION_COUNT = 3

    6) change permissions on script to allow execution: chmod + x ghettoVCBni.sh

    7) run the script. In the case of this document: ghettoVCBni.sh backup_vms

    8) sit and wait or go do something else.

    These instructions also apply to the ESX ( under step 1 ). Oh yes, this script can be run on virtual machines (power) live and you don't need any additional trick to run it.

    Nice day

    Tuan
