How to import MPEG-4 files in Windows Movie Maker in Windows Vista?
Windows Media Player 11 recognizes and plays MPEG-4 great but WMM does not recognize them. I would like to import some MPEG-4 files in Movie Maker and work with them - is there a codec or something that allows this?
I'm sure I can find a software to convert to MP4 format that mm will recognize, but if possible, I would just skip the conversion step and work with MP4 directly in MM.
Thank you!

Movie Maker is not compatible with MP4 files...
the best would be to convert it to .wmv.

All to MP4 / 3GP / MPG / AVI / WMV / FLV / SWF.

When I import a video file into Windows Movie Maker, it plays the video and no Audio how to import the video file so that it contains the audio when the time to line up? Help?
Watch the video file. The last 3 letters represent the file format.
Windows Movie maker only supports the following video file formats:
Video files: .asf, .avi, .dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv
If yours is not on the above list, Movie Maker will have probel play.
In this case, you will have to google for a free video converter and change the format of your video file to WMV. WMV format is the most reliable format for Windows. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

Import a .pst file in Windows 8 Mail
Hello.
Recently updated to windows 8 and all is well, but there is one thing that I can't seem to get on with the job.
Is there anyway that I can import an Outlook 2007 .pst file in the application Mail in Windows 8.
I have not installed Outlook, but I would really like to be able to access my Contacts in the file since I copied in the file until I upgraded and now I use Office 2013 but has not bought one with included Outlook since I am also satisfied with the mail application.
Hi Eric,.
Thank you for choosing the window 8 and we are glad to hear that you love Windows 8.
I understand from the description of the issue, you want to know how to import Outlook .pst files in Mail app.
I would like to inform you that it is not possible in the Mail application. But what you can do is, you can configure the same account in the Mail application. So that you will be able to find the people App contacts.
For any other Windows questions feel free to get back to us. We will be happy to help you.

If you try to import a video to use as a guide in your timeline, the video must be H.264 with AAC audio. You cannot use the other MP4 videos with other codecs (such as the MPEG-4 video codec).

As I suggested previously, conversion to a format like

Start Microsoft Expression Encoder 4
(Start / programs / Microsoft Expression /)

Left click... "Transcoding project '...When the program opens, click on... File / import...
(If at any time you get lost while browsing
the program of... to... Window / active Reset
Type or workspace... CTRL + SHIFT + R)Look for the file/s that you want to convert.
(If files do not appear... open the fall
window and choose... All files)Click (highlight) left the files and the left on the Open button.
You can see the files in the "Multimedia content" pane
In the right column... left click on the tab "Output"...
Open the drop directory window and choose an output folder.
(This is where you will find your converted file)On the left, click on the button "encode".

If it is a file of notes from a mobile phone, you can open it with Notepad. However, according to the manufacturer, it may be encoded and it will be more readable.
You can try to use your favorite for the .vnt file search engine to find a suitable software. I would avoid anything that resembles a paid ad and exercise extremely prudent.
