How to install Firefox 3.6 after down load it in Linus Freespire?

I just installed Linus Freespire on a computer on which Windows XP crashed and happy to have him take a new life. When I tried to browse myspace.com, I was forced to switch to Firefox 3.6 and downloaded. He said he went on the desktop, but don't see it here. Instead, I get a window of KArchiver with Firefox - 3.6.6.tar - 1 inside. I tried to screwing around with her and her "assistant" until I'm ready to trash this. Can someone tell me what should I do to update Firefox 2.0.0.6 for Firefox 3.6.6 in addition to become another degree? It would be nice if there where some advice.

This has happened

Don't know how many times

is whenever I try to access myspace.com

This Linux distro is still developing? I thought he died three years ago. Home page - http://www.freespire.org/index.php - talks about Freespire 2.0 is based on Ubuntu 7.04, which is a version of Ubuntu is released in April 2007. Support forums - http://forum.freespire.org/ - seem almost died, 'communities' most do not seem to have any recent activity.

Linus Freespire probably does not support versions of Firefox 3.0 +. See the system requirements for Firefox 3.6.

I had to install a GTK package later to Xandros Linux OS supplied with my EeePC in 2008, when I wanted to install Firefox 3.0. Later, I changed to Ubuntu on this netbook.

IMO, you're probably better to move to a more modern version of Linux which, that, as one of the variants of Ubuntu. It is actively developed, has many more users, as well as a support forum more active with users savvier than most of other Linux distributions.
