How to install Microsoft Office 2007 after formatting of your laptop? My product key is not accepted...

I formatted my Toshiba laptop with the following method:

-do you have a backup to a hard drive

-recorded an ISO on a DVD file

-in the Control Panel, I clicked on recovery option

-restarted from the ISO dvd

-excerpt from the backup of the hard disk

Now I see that I have not installed Microsoft Office programs. I tried to download it from the Microsoft page, but his does not not my product key and shows this message: The Office 2007 product key you provided is blocked for activation and therefore, is not eligible for a free download.

I got the ultimate Office 2007 already installed in my laptop, but I have no CD more. I know that the product key from the sticker located in the lower part of the laptop.

I've done a diagnosis with the diagnostic tool Microsoft Genuine Advantage, and this is the result:

You buy a genuine Windows 7 license. The copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, you have installed is an OEM SLP license that should only be preloaded with a new PC. You seem to have installed a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate that uses an activation exploit that bypasses the product activation.

We know that it is because the BIOS date:

20090115000000.000000 + 000

Windows 7 was released in October 2009, the date of your BIOS says January 2009, which probably means your system is provided with Windows Vista or Windows XP.

In addition, he is a well known Windows 7 Ultimate license which has been used all over the web:

Windows product key: *-* - Q6MMK - KYK6X-VKM6G

Do a search on the web.

Thus, you must either charge your version of Windows that came on your computer (Vista or XP) or consider purchasing a license of Windows 7 genuine.

    Welcome to the HP Forum.

The easiest option if you have friends nearby (those living with tech), is to borrow a DVD USB drive and plug it into the laptop for a few minutes so that you can download your software.

You can buy this kind of tech pretty cheap, too.

If you have your key, it should be in the CD box, you can probably download Microsoft Office - according to the version - and just use the key you already activate it.

  • Vista Home Premium product key is not accepted after the repair, in which the computer was stripped of the same Windows software

When my ET1161-07 came back from repair, it was so empty of software that even my "copy of Windows is not genuine", as it appears in the lower right. Due to this fact, I have no protection, either. I followed the instructions on the screen to type in the product key code that I found on the sticker on the casing of the machine (I had him bought at Costco, with preinstalled Vista Edition Home Premium, with no backup disk included), but the box would not accept even the next character to come at some point, to Midway. As a result, my window of Activation of Windows said I typed in the product key is not valid for activation, and I have to either buy a new online, or type a different product key or contact Dell to help solve this problem. Could you please help me with this? Fortunately, Istvan

    Hello

First thing I would do is to take this computer to the place/person fixing it and demand that they fix it properly.

We don't know where they got the Vista disk/license since they were installed.

  • Problem installing Microsoft Office 2007 Home and student

    Hello

I'm all new to Microsoft Office home & student, so this is a newbie question.
I bought this product this morning and went to install it.  He said it was impossible to configure error and immediately stopped the configuration.

I have a trial MS Office on my computer also. Specifically, I wanted an an installation CD because I feel more comfortable with it on the download of this product without the CD.
I wondered if this product would not configure/install unless I entered the product key of the box in the trial version.  I did this and MS Office seemed to configure/install itself without further problems.

What is the proper way to install this program?  I hope that I will still have 3 PC licenses which were indicated on the product itself to do this way.
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thank you very much.

  • Have a computer dell laptop. replaced the hard drive; tried to install my Windows XP and my product key is not accepted. I was wondering why and how do to accomplish this task.

My dell laptop had the hard drive replaced.  My son, who knows computers, installed the new hard drive.  Then he tried to install my Windows XP Professional software - when it came time to put the product key #, it was not accepted.  It's authentic.  The product key is: * removed *.

There no mention of this issue in section outages or other information provided in the booklet provided.  Can you help me with this problem?

The license key and product type must match (XP Home vs XP Pro;)  (and OEM license vs the retail license).  If it's a Dell computer and you get the product key from a sticker on the case, then there is likely a version of Windows XP OEM this product key.  If you install Windows XP from a retail installation disk, then the types of licenses will not match.  You will need to use the license that accompanies the retail installation disc or you will need to contact Dell for an OEM installation disc to go with the license on your sticker case.

  • After reinstalling the OS code product key is not accepted

I had to reinstall my Dell Inspiron 1100 operating system which is Windows Vista Business SP1 because I had to format my hard drive and it destroy.  Now I'm reinstalling the OS, I get a message telling me that my product key code is not a valid number, but I got it on the bottom of my laptop on the COA sticker, now you mind, he was brought and is somewhat difficult to read, but I tried all possible combinations of letters & numbers and none of them works.  Now I have the product inside the computer identification number if it would help my product key code.  And the other issue I'm having is that I can not get inot the BIOS because he says he has a password and I never put a top, so I can not access my setup when the computer is started.  Even if I formatted my hard drive, the BIOS is still saying there is a password, why not get wiped out?

  • Product key is not accepted after the upgrade in Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate.

I changed to a new computer that has windows 7 on it and I used my upgrade to ultimate but it will not take the proudct key.  I'm guessing that because he was on the old computer.  How do I just get a new key or change from the old computer?

I think that I wrote the wrong computers had windows 7 Home premium top and I used my upgrade to ultimate on both.  However the new said that this is not a valid product key for the upgrade.  How can I just get a new key?

Original title: I upgraded my computer to Windows 7 Ultimate, but it won't take my product key

If the new computer comes with Windows 7 Home Premium or another edition of Windows 7, just use the Windows 7 Ultimate product key and do an Express Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade from in the edition of Windows 7 you are now running on the computer.

If the license for Windows 7 Ultimate, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and upgrade Express from Windows 7 to Windows 7 Ultimate edition. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Ultimate edition at the request, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate files the stored settings and programs.

  • How to activate preinstalled Office 2007 on Satellite L300D-10 q

    I bought a Satellite L300D-10 q.
It comes with preinstalled 2007 Microsoft Office.
I have been informed that the product key on the bottom of my laptop is for Microsoft Office, but when you try to turn it on, it says that the key is not valid.

    Help?

    Hello

Office 2007 which was preinstalled on Toshiba laptops is only a trial version! I'm not quite sure how long you could use, but I guess that it s active duration 3 months m.

The serial key which is located at the bottom of the device belongs to the OEM of Vista OS version. He touches s no MS Office 2007! Please don t mix.

So if you still want to use Office 2007 after the expiry of the trial period was then you will have to buy it!

Microsoft is very interesting, I have seen offer.
You could buy a version of Office 2007 cheaper if you are student, student or teacher.
