How to install NVIDIA video drivers in a free WIN 7 VM on the VM workstation installation

How to install NVIDIA video drivers in free installation of WIN 7 VM on the VM workstation?  When I try to run the driver installation package I get an error there is no hardware supported, even if the video card is installed and works in the reception of WINNING 10.

Thank you

NVidia drivers must be installed only when using NVidia devices.
You do not have in your virtual hardware NVidia machine - that's why he settled on your host computer, but not inside your virtual machine.
Inside a virtual machine, you have a Videocard VMware - so you must install VMware-drivers.
Appropriate within a virtual machine drivers will be installed if you install the "vmware-tools".

If the installation provided with your Windows computer discs was preinstalled on the computer - it is OEM and cannot be moved. You can move Windows to another computer if you buy the retail version.

You can move the windows on a new computer

If it's a full license or upgrade retail - Yes. You can move it to another computer as long as it is installed on one computer at a time (and if it's a version upgrade the new Windows computer must have its own license of qualification). The previous Windows installation on your old computer must be formatted or deleted. You will have to perhaps call Microsoft and explain what happened to complete activation. Turning it on the second computer will automatically be in effect 'disable' the license for the first computer.

If it's an OEM license - don't. OEM licenses, including Windows preinstalled on a computer before purchase and Windows purchased separately, are related to the first computer, they are installed on and cannot be transferred to another computer. To install Windows on another computer, you will need to buy another copy.

  • How to install a video instead of chipset card?

    Hello

My problem is this: I have a Compaq Presario CQ5011IT which has an integrated Intel G31/G33 chipset, and I wanted to install a video card (GeForce 210) instead.

I read that I had to install the card into the appropriate slot, turn on the computer and install the drivers that were on the CD given with the card, and then at some point during the operation the old into the new card should I past the video cable...

In any case what happens is that when I install the video card, I turn on the pc and nothing appears on the screen (apparently the chipset is automatically disabled just by inserting the video card?), so I can the to proceed to installing the drivers, and obviously I don't see nothing, even if I plug the connector of the new card card (that the drivers are not installed).

So, what should I do? Is there a way to fix this? Maybe I should install the drivers before placing the card?

I don't know if these details are important, but the motherboard is an MS-7525 and is 300W power supply (+ 12V said 19A).

I hope that there is a way to solve this problem!

    Thank you very much

    Elena

    Hey Elena,

The only thing I can think of right now is that the Nvidia card supports PCI-E 2.0 and even though it is backward compatible with PCI-E 1.0, for some reason your motherboard is not recognized correctly.  This would explain why the old ATI card working as it is probably PCI - E 1.0.

However, if you click on the link below, it seems to be that a specific Bios update that address the problem with this particular card.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=PV-73126-1 & LC = on & DLC = in & CC = US & Product = 3921638 & sw_lang = & os = 2093 & Key = null & site = null

    Important.

Download the update and save it to your desktop. Have not the new trendy card (IE have the PC in the State wherever it was when you bought it).  Disconnect other devices on the PC except the mouse and keyboard, double-click the installer to start the process, and once the update starts to run do not touch the PC until it stops.

When finished, restart the PC (still without the new card installed) let windows start fully and then shut down the PC.  All you should have to do now is install the new card, connect the monitor to it and start the PC.  I hope it should work properly now.

    Best wishes

  • Satellite A505-S6922 - how to install Windows 7 drivers?

I have an A505-S6992 and I try to do a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate. I created the recovery with drivers and applications disc. In what order should I install and how to install Windows 7 ultimate?

I tried to install by going just to the bottom of the list of applications/drivers, but has encountered an error.

I think that the order of the facilities must be similar or even the same as on Vista.
After the clean install of Win7 continue with:
    Chipset
    Robson driver
    Display driver
    Audio driver
    LAN
    Touch Pad Driver
    Card reader
    TOSHIBA software modem
    Wireless LAN driver
    Chicony camera software
    Bluetooth stack
    Port driver
    TOSHIBA Value Added Package
    TOSHIBA hardware configuration utility
    TOSHIBA supervisor password
    TOSHIBA Flash Cards Support utility
    TOSHIBA SD Memory utilities
    AuthenTec fingerprint utility
    TOSHBA face recognition
    TOSHIBA ConfigFree
    TOSHIBA WPS library
    TOSHIBA Assist
    TOSHIBA Speech System
    CD/DVD Drive Acoustic Silencer
    TOSHIBA TRS driver
    HDMI Control Manager
Of course, it is order facilities Vista and maybe you won't find listed some stuff on the page to download, but at least you can see how it should be installed.
Next week, I'll get my new Satellite A500 and I'll test the Win7 installation.

Please let me know if you will be able to install it with success.

    Good luck!

  • How to install additional network drivers?

    Hello

    Newbie question...

I recently installed VMServer 2.0 on an IBM server, which has a Broadcom BCM 5709C NetXtreme GigE network adapater (2 x).

After I installed Windows 2003 SP2, the VM host environment, detects only AMD PCNET card.

This adapter is able to connect to the host.

Please let me know how do I install additional network drivers.

    Thank you

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

    Welcome to the forums.

VMware solutions never present physical network cards to the guests, but only the emulated cards. The operating system detects the virtual card, and most of the time, is able to install it with the driver of a standard distribution. Your Windows Server has detected and installed the device AMD, which should be OK. So do not try to install another, especially the Broadcom.

You specify which network the guest will be connected by using the configuration of the VM from VMware. Then you decide if you attach the guest to the public network or to a private. If your virtual machine connects to the host, take a look at the network configuration of your VMware Server.

    It will be useful.

If you have installed the latest NVIDIA drivers and there are no problems with graphics, ATI drivers are useless to uninstall. However one thing you need to check is to see if the ATI Catalyst software is always charged, if it is then go to control panel and uninstall Catalyst.

  • How to install 7210 print drivers only on the system that has no attached printer

    Hello

I need to install the driver "HP Officejet 7200 series" on a computer that doesn't have any HP 7210 printer attached.

The machine will be accessible through a session terminal server on a Juniper Networks secure virtual private network. This allows a printer on a computer to be consulted and printed on remote computer - but the remote computer must have installed the drivers.

So my question is how can I just get and install the driver named "HP Officejet 7200 series?

I tried the HP driver downloads over my original driver CD, but none of them seem no driver to install because I have not the printer is connected to the machine. All I want is to end up with the appropriate driver "HP OfficeJet 7200 series" available in the "Add a printer" dialog box Windows XP.

Before anyone suggests it, I can not temporarily attach the printer to the remote computer because they are 50 miles away

    Thank you very much.

Overwhelmed by the response here, I managed to find a solution to this and I post here in case others find it useful.

The trick is to realize you need a local driver and a driver from a distance that are the same. But there is no need for the 7210 driver.

I found that the driver DeskJet990C Windows by default "Add a printer" dialog has worked well.

With the help of first installation on the local machine, using the same port that the 7210 already installed. Set up and print a test page to make sure it works.

Then, install the same driver on the remote computer. Simply choose any local port.

Then start a new remote session and the printer should appear as a deskjet 990c and impression of the remote computer should work.

    =================================
Windows Media Player cannot rotate a video.

Windows Live Movie Maker can turn a video clip, but you
may need to convert the video to a compatible format like
. WMV, before you can import it into Windows Live Movie
    Maker.

We want an effect where it looks like he's sitting on opposite ends of the couch talking to himself. We recorded two videos while holding the camera perfectly still. How superimpose us the two videos without reducing the opacity to 50%, making it like a ghost?

If the camera was perfectly locked, then you should be able to simply apply the effect of cropping for the Clip on the video track above. If the background is exactly the same, the 'hard edge' culture will not display. If there IS a difference in alignment or the camera moved, even slightly, which can make it appear as a problem.
