How can I reinstall my windows vista Home premium 32
Mr. Michael-thanks for the reply and help... but I need more... I decided to reinstall my windows vista family 32-bit premium, now I work with vista full... like I said u before I think it is not legal...
pls tell me how can I reinstall it on the site because I do not have adisk (I have the old product key that come with my laptop to Vista Edition home premium)
my lap top is Toshiba...
Thank youhttp://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/home.jsp
Toshiba support
Contact Toshiba and ask them to send you a set of recovery Vista disc/s.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
Then reinstall Vista with them.
In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
See if you still have a recovery Partition on your hard disk to reinstall vista home Premium.Try this and see if it works:
Toshiba Recovery:
To access the recovery partition Toshiba, powering the laptop. Press 0 (zero) key and turn on the laptop. Keep holding down the zero key until the TOSHIBA logo, which is where you should start to type the zero key repeatedly. Stop if the device emits a sound signal or when the TOSHIBA logo disappears. The screen should light up * MODE of RECOVERY of HARD drive * for a fraction of a second, and then load the Toshiba Recovery program directly from the hard drive.
Note that this clears all data and reload all the software factory default. Be sure to back up all your important personal data beforehand!
My lap top has vista home and I tried to install Win 98 on a drive. I get messages saying that it can not be installed. The installer on the disc advises to install using MS-DOS. However, the file of course dosen't address install on a computer with vista home. I am not able in the BACK. I'd like some simple instructions to install it if it is possible.
You need to do using a Virtual Machine (Finally, there are other ways, but this is the simplest and the best option). http://www.dnncreative.com/Tutorials/DNNTutorialsforAdvancedUsers/VirtualPC/tabid/394/Default.aspx.
Once the virtual machine is configured, see the follwng on how to install Windows 98 on it:http://www.vistax64.com/virtual-pc/174999-re-installing-windows-98-a.html.
I hope this helps. Keep me in the loop.
Good luck!
How to install Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit?
Hello! Can someone tell me how can I make Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit to 64-bit?
Here's my question: -.
1. I bought a version of Windows Vista Edition retail family Premium, the package has only the 32-bit support (DVD). I found a few website say that the product key for the retail version of Windows is for 32-bit and 64-bit, as long as we use 32 - bit or 64 - bit on a single computer at a time. If I'm wrong, anyone could answer my question?
2. now, I plan to move from 32 bit to 64 bit, my problem is that the version sold at retail of Windows that I purchased only contain 32-bit media:-
(a) is there a way I could install the 64-bit Windows?
(b) is it possible I could get 64-bit support?
(c) could I use media in Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit retail a friend to install on my computer? And after installation, I can activate Windows with my product key?
Looking forward to the responses, thank you.
Do you a clean install from 32 bit to 64 bit.
http://www.Microsoft.com/windowsvista/1033/ordermedia/default.mspx
Link above is how you get 64 bit DVD, if you have a retail license.
You can use any Microsoft Vista 64-bit DVD and use your 32 bit key as you say it's Vista Retail
Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
How can I get Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit installed on Windows 7 Home Premium 32 - Bit?
I decided to install Windows 7 on my computer for the 30 day free trial, but am now regretting it. I don't have the money to buy the product officially, so I want to reinstall my windows vista. I have the drive, but when I try to install the computer says that this version of windows is not compatible with it. How can I get my Windows Vista to install?
Also, I currently have windows 7 Home premium. It is a 32-bit operating system and is running on Service Pack 1. The version of windows that I am wanting to return is Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.
I can't make the method for using the windows.old as my uncle decided to remove after installation of windows. I have 13, but even, I knew it was a bad idea. In any case, I would really help with this question.
Ranging from 32-bit to 64-bit is a single proposal for a NEW facility.
You can boot from the DVD and erase your old installation (wipe, from scratch, all not saved disappeared and everything must be installed manually - including drivers for hardware devices and software you have installed now) and install Windows Vista x 64.
