How to install visual c ++ 2008

I am trying to load a video Sony Vegas editing software package - this requires c ++ 2005 SP1 and c ++ 2008 SP1.

I checked my update history and found no reference to c ++ 2008. I then downloaded and ran vcredist_x86.exe from Microsoft website, buy when I check my history of editing, it is not yet here.

Incidentally, I also have a problem loading Vista SP2 (32 bit) - (see http://answers.microsoft.com/thread/cb553b12-71ca-4152-986a-b04e23c46f47) - would be the two related IE c ++ 2008 SP1 requires Vista SP2 to be loaded first? If so, what is the answer?

I'm not trying to run either on the USB key, I just need to know how to install from a USB key. I tried Multiboot, grub for DOS and other, but they do not seem to work :/

I am going through a book that uses these two to form Microsoft MCITP: Server 2008 Administrator and if I could install these Via USB, this would save my records and a lot of hassle... basically just for convenience, as everything that I need will be on a stick * lol *.

  • Re: Cannot install Visual Studio 2008 on Vista 32-bit

    Hello

I have a satellite P200 with Vista Home premium SP1 and I need to install it on Visual Studio 2008.
When the install wizzard starts it checks the compatibility of the computer and could not return this:

"Setup has detected that this computer does not meet the requirements to install this software. These conditions must be met before you can install Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition - ENU
    Requirements and software prerequisites
Windows XP Service Pack 2 update information
You must install this service pack to complete the installation. Visual Studio requires the installation of this service pack before you install Visual Studio"

So the only solution I have is to exit the installation wizard, so I can not install VS2008

It seems that someone else has the same problem with a Toshiba Satellite also! See http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN-FR/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3392455&SiteID=12
Microsoft product support has apparently no solution and find it strange!

So please help me, I absolutely need of VS2008 to work and I change my laptop only because failed to install VS2008

Thanks a ton in advance for

    Hi mate,

Sorry, but just because one person in a MSDN forum has randomly the same machine you, does not mean that there is a related problem of the machine. Technically in comparing it s absolutely the same material as in an office and so why Don t you contact Microsoft technical support?

It seems that it is certainly unwanted Microsoft and has NOTHING to do with Toshiba hardware or software, so please see MS support sites or give them a call, because it s THEIR software which won´t operate according to THEIR operating system.

  • How to: install Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) in ESXi 4.1 - 260247 with controller 'LSI Logic SAS'?

    Hello

    I have a newly installed ESXi 4.1 - 260247 on a Fujitsu - Siemens GROUND RX300 S4 with 2 x Intel Xeon E5420 @ 2.5 GHz with 36 GB of RAM.

Storage controller is a LSI MegaRAID SAS 1078 6 x 750 GB SATA - drives configured with 3xRAID-1 logical drives. BIOS Version 4.06 Rev 1.04.2519

Now, I'm trying to install "Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit" in a virtual machine, but fail because the virtual hard disk cannot be found.

I tried with all Types of SCSI controller, but when running of the "Create Virtual Machine"-magician, he suggests 'LSI Logic SAS'. "." I tried 'LSI Logic parallel' and "VMware Paravirtual" but it did not work. However, I have not tried "Parallel BusLogic", since it clearly says no "recommended for this guest operating system".

I was unable to find documentation on how and where I can find the "LSI Logic SAS" - pilot to be able to continue the installation. The

Windows Server 2008 R2 installation is an ISO obtained directly from Microsoft eLicensing.

I also downloaded the drivers floppy 'pvscsi - Windows2008.flp' and 'vmscsi.flp' from the ESXi server, but the program finds no driver validates the installation of Windows on them.

I also extracted files "windows.iso' of the ESXi machine, but not drivers there as well.

So my question is, what model is the "LSI Logic SAS", I guess I can download these LSI directly, I need to know what model?

    Any help appreciated.

    Thank you!

Try to download the ISO using the java-based download manager.  This will tell you if your download is getting disturbed, as mine was.  It will also be the image once completed to ensure you've got the whole thing of checksum.  Just download via HTTP does not.

  • Measurement Studio for visual studio 2008 8.1.2

Hello, I installed Visual Studio 2008 and I use the Visual C++ 2008 him.  However, Measurement Studio 8.1.2 (which I have) do not natively connect to VC 2008.  I tried to manually add the box controls to tools... but namespace NationalInstruments.UI.WindowsForms seems not to be there?  Maybe I need to change something somewhere?  Any help would be most appreciated.

    Defiance-

If I understand correctly, you are trying to add references to assemblies .NET Measurement Studio for a C++ 2008 project. Is this correct?

In this case, when you have created your project, you chose one of the models in the CLR (see screenshot) category?

If so, then to add references to assemblies Measurement Studio, you go into the Visual Studio point Project menu > properties and select common properties > structure and references > add a new reference. MStudio 8.1.2 assemblies should appear in the list. If this isn't the case, you can navigate to them. They have installed by default on \Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudioVS2005\DotNET\Assemblies\Current. Make sure that you add all required dependent assemblies (usually NationalInstruments.UI.dll and NationalInstruments.Common.dll).

Also, you should be able to create a box Tools tab and add controls.

If you try to do something else, could you give more details on exactly the type of project you want to create?
