How to lock my bookmarks toolbar in Firefox 13.0.1 so that it is not removed when I run Norton Utilities?

When I run Norton Utilities my bookmarks toolbar is deleted. When I replace that left Favorites icon is not there, which is a nuisance that I run with the bookmarks bar in place on the left side of the screen. So having replaced the personal bar, I then to customize by dragging the bookmarks icon and then click on this icon to retrieve my bookmarks sidebar.

You really do not have this icon of bookmarks, {Ctrl + B} opens and closes the bookmarks bar.

    Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third part of Firefox 4 version that works under OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details, see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox

    In number. How can I lock you in a function such as highlighting a cell so that it does not disappear when you move to another cell.

    Hi Philil,

    Do you mean pointing out the contents of a cell, or "stressing" the cell itself (by placing an on bottom border)?

    Formatting content will transfer to another cell if you fill in the other cell content, or copy from a single cell and pasting it into another.

    Borders applied to a cell or group of cells may be applied to another cell or group of cells by selecting the first cell (single click), the format of this cell or a group of cells copy (Format (menu) or option + command + C > copy Style), and then selecting one or more other cells and stick to the format (Format (menu) or command-option-v > paste Style.)

    'Format' in the case of cells includes the color fill, color text and other text attributes, content, format (text, number, date & time, duration...), borders...

    When you copy the style, all format attributes are copied.

    Kind regards

    Barry

    What is your homepage in Firefox that it may seem like the old start page for Firefox by Google because it has the message "you are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web! "under the search field.

    Google did not maintain this homepage from Firefox 4.0 came out as it was on: House since.

  • How can I change the height of my Bookmarks Toolbar on Firefox 11.0?

    Hello
    I just installed Firefox 11.0 and I noticed that the 'line height' grew a little bookmarks toolbar. I was wondering if someone could tell me a way I can change this.

    Here is a screenshot of comparison:

    Fine thanks

    You can make changes to the appearance of the bookmarks toolbar by writing rules of style for the #PersonalToolbar. For example:

    #PersonalToolbar {max-height:19px}

    To apply the rule, you can use the old userChrome.css method, or more user-friendly Stylish extension.

    Examples of elegant use in these discussions: ink waste because the pages with dark backgrounds always print despite the context of printing being box unchecked. Using 5 Foxfire in Win 7 I lost the highlighting of current in use (compared to win XA FF 5) BM.

  • How to view the bar menu & bookmarks toolbar in Firefox 4 full-screen mode?

    Firefox 3.6, I was using the AutoHide extension to activate the menu bar and the bookmarks toolbar mode full screen. But hide automatically is not compatible with Firefox 4, and even its homepage seems to have disappeared. (This is an old copy on the Wayback Machine.)

    In full Firefox 4 screen, when I move the mouse to the top of the screen, only the navigation toolbar and the list are displayed. I want to see the menu bar and the bookmarks toolbar as well. I also want to be able to use the Alt key to open the menu (for example Alt - V to open the view menu.)

    Is there a compatible with Firefox 4 extension that can do this?

    I also have this issue the superuser, if you want to rep it. Otherwise, I'll cross-post any response I get.

    Add code to userChrome.css below @namespace.

    You can use the ChromEdit Plus extension for easier access to the customization files.

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    #toolbar-menubar[moz-collapsed="true"] { visibility: visible !important; }
    #PersonalToolbar[moz-collapsed="true"] { visibility: visible !important; }

  • How can I get Bookmarks Toolbar to go to the bottom of the list at the top?

    Just reinstalled 27 after a crash of my PC. I imported my favorites from my HTML code, but cannot get the bookmarks toolbar to return at the top of the list of bookmarks, above Menu bookmarks.

    Also, how can I get my bookmarks toolbar folder bookmarks will appear at the top of my screen again? Thank you!-Liz

    Looks like you have two folders that are labeled Bookmarks Toolbar, what happens when you 'import' a bookmarks.html file. "Import" adds existing bookmarks located in Firefox; do a "restore" a json backup would have replaced all existing bookmarks by those that are in the backup backup json file.

    You need to "reorganize" the bookmarks that are located in the Bookmarks Toolbar folder lower (bookmarks that you have any) and enter these bookmarks in the current folder to the Favorites bar, which is at the top of the list.

  • How to make the bookmarks toolbar remains open when you go to the properties?

    Whenever I click on properties when I rename a bookmark or a folder, my firm bookmarks toolbar.

    I checked about: config and did not see a setting in there. Does anyone know how I'd go change it while it is not AUTOclose when you go to the properties?

    I use Firefox version 9.0.1

    You can open bookmarks in the sidebar (view > sidebar > bookmarks;) CTRL + B) If you want the selected bookmark or folder remain visible. If you do this in the menu bookmarks and bookmarks toolbar then open menus and folders are automatically closed.

  • How to display the bookmarks toolbar

    I used to have the next toolbar at the top of the screen, but it has now disappeared and I do not know how to make it visible again.

    The bookmarks toolbar is hidden by default. Into or back off:

    Click on view / drop-down menu hide toolbars at the bottom of the screen and select Bookmarks toolbar.
    Click on the green button customize output.

  • How to restore my personal toolbar in Firefox 4.0b6?

    When I installed the 4.0beta6 (3.6.9 or 10, I think), it wiped out my personal toolbar. It seems I found a response to restore once, but now I can not find.

    Name of Firefox for the personal toolbar is the bookmarks toolbar. To view it, if you have the hidden menu bar, click on the Firefox button, tap the small arrow to the right Options and click on bookmarks toolbar. When selected, it has a check mark next to its name.

    If you have the menu bar is displayed, select the view menu, then toolbars and then click on bookmarks toolbar.

    I want to use the google toolbar in firefox 5, but it does not support.

    I love Firefox, but a new version, before it is compatible with the most popular add-ons ad is ridiculous. So is the appearance changes so that everyone must learn to use the software. I'm sorry, but they are starting to think like Microsoft.

  • I have an empty box on my bookmarks toolbar, I can't get rid of that.

    As of today, I have an empty box on my personal bar that I can't get out. It comes after the > > icon where I see more bookmarks, but it is related to the bookmarks toolbar that it disappears when I uncheck this bar. I tried to customize, and I can't move or delete the box.

    Hi James,

    I tried what cor - el has suggested, and I found the problem to be the addition of the Page Zoom for me: disabled, and the box went. I was unable to remove the box using the first method cor - el suggested. This issue arose for me today as well, and I had Zoom Page installed for at least a few months, so I don't know what the case. I hope you have the same module installed, cheers!

    If you have multiple accounts administrator (for different physical users) can do nothing to control what can (and probably will) be overridden.

    One thing I would suggest is to be more limiting the number of system administrators.  Limited accounts and using run as something you start doing that should actually be * needs * administrative access and could not do without it.

    I guess you could do it, then it runs a scheduled task (either occasionally or start [or both]) which defines the network settings, how you want.  Depending on your environment and that "Administrators" - they may or may not find it easily.  However, once again, they are system administrators - they can do/undo everything you can do/undo.
