How to make a msn homepage to open at the top of the page instead of just a bit down the page in IE8 using Windows XP Edition family and professional?

For no reason found, when I open my MSN home page in Internet Explorer it opens just a few lines down to the place at the top of the page.  I don't know of any settings that may affect thisin IE8 Win XP Home or PRO.  There has been no change to the system, hardware or software.  How can I get my MSN home page to open the top of the page? , and what could be the cause?
