How to make a recovery disk partition?

I have an acer aspire one notebook. He had a recovery partition where I could reinstall windows by pressing Alt + F10 during post (D2D recovery). This partition has been deleted by formatted the disc on a windows installation 8.

Now, I want to make a partition on the disk with windows 8 image data so that I could just open it by pressing Alt + F10 during post and reinstall windows, like the manufacter. Could someone tell me how to do this?

  • How to make a recovery disk or possibly to do a windows repair disk?

Compaq presario CQ60 notebook pc. Processor AMD Athlon dual-core QL-62. Microsoft windows vista version/version 6.0 service pack 2. 32 bit

    Hello:

You can make recovery DVD by going to the menu all programs and find the HP Recovery Manager program where there should be a line to make recovery disks. Carefully follow the instructions that you only get one chance to make them.

You can do a repair or reinstallation of Vista disk by reading the info below. You can only use the disc to reinstall Vista if you can read the product key microsoft complete 25 characters on the label stuck on the bottom of your laptop.

If you are in a fault light but rewarding you can do yourself if you can read your product key of Vista on the PC of 25 characters.

If you can read your 25-character product key MS, you can make your own Windows Vista installation disc. You just download the 3 files you need on the link below and read all the instructions to create a Setup bootable DVD disk using imageburn.

Do not take into account the part of the text in the first screen shot about "extract the files in the folder of Vista."

The files were extracted already in this folder when you ran the X14.exe file by reading the text on top of the first screenshot.

The other thing I noticed is on the 4th page, where it shows Developer ID Microsoft Corporation. I had to type Microsoft Corporation in me, and then other codes already filled in.

When I went to compile the ISO file, ImageBurn gave a message on a WIM file, file and ISO, and if I wanted to burn it in a different format.

I selected no, make the ISO file.

It was not so hard to do. I burned both the disk of 64-bit and 32-bit disk in case I ever need them.

I tested both of them one my hp dc7100 CMT desktop PC, worked flawlessly.

When you enter the product key, he knows which version of Vista you have.

You woud be better to create usb recovery media.

The usb recovery media is durable and provides faster recovery rates that the DVD version is capable of. DVD media recovery takes 2 + hours to complete! Recovery using a USB stick recovery takes less than an hour to complete.

An only scratch on the label side of a DVD of the recovery and the recovery dvd set is useless.

To the following ADDRESS, there are video tutorials that show the details involved for the creation of a USB or DVD recovery media.

You are allowed to make a copy of the recovery media.  Choose well. You may need a 32 GB USB to create usb recovery media. The price for usb flashdrives fell down there where she is not much more the amount of DVD recordable media. Don't use Sandisk flashdrives. they are known to not be is not compatible with the recovery media creation utility.

  • How to get system recovery disks

original title: need to erase my hard drive to get rid of a virus, but the laptop did not come with disks in the system, because they were already installed on the laptop. What should I do?

I bought a laptop computer three years ago and I had very little trouble with it. But recently, it has become very slow, even though I have plenty of hard drive on the left. When it's built in wifi suddenly stopped one day, that I took it to the geek squad in PC World, who told the driver he had been uninstalled and who, after having worked on my laptop and see how slow and it was slow, it was probably the result of a virus.

I was told my only option to remove potential viruses was to back up my files and wipe my hard drive for all files. I was quoted £60 for this service so I went home and saved the files I wanted to keep on my laptop hard drive. I wiped my old PC hard drive before you delete the virus and I could then reinstall Windows and the built in programs using records systems. However, I bought this new laptop and all programs have been preinstalled and came with no system disk.

What is the best way to go on my hard disk wiping programs and files without Windows, or should I just pay PC World to do properly?

    Thanks for the help :))

When you clean your hard drive, it is wiped away.

You must reinstall Windows during this process.

I searched all over the forums, but does not know how to create a recovery disk works for my laptop. I know it is run from a partition on the HARD drive, but I can't figure out how to access this partition. Should there be some sort of built-in utility?

    Hello

Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you. It is not possible.

I had the same situation after partitioning my hard disk, he disappeared and did not make a recovery disk.
You can order the new silver recovery disk:
    https://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx

or get a copy of Windows and install it. Then, download all the required drivers and enjoy.

  • How to format and re - install Windows 7 using recovery disks/Partitions?

    Hello..

    My product-

    HP DV4-5109tx

    Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a free space of 78 GBs that I'm not able to use... As when I try to use the "disk management" and right-click on the free space to "format partition" this option has been grayed out... !!

Please suggest if I can use this space without formatting? (I was suggested for formatting)

In addition, due to some other issues too I want to format my Windows (and reinstall) IE drive C so that the free space problem can be solved... Also I don't want no data in my other drives to be formatted...

I have the recovery partition and the recovery disks sent by HP...

Please help me how I can use them to solve my goal...

    Thank you

It's simple, as I suggested in my previous post.

Once you have a drive like the one on the image management window simply click New Simple Volume. Create a new partition called "New Volume". Make a right click on it and the option to format it will appear.  The strips on the 75,38 GB of free space in your image indicates that the selected action will take place on this point in the disk management window. You can change the name for the new volume in Windows Explorer.

How can I do to burn the recovery system/dvd (s) for Windows 10.

is there a FAQ for this particular situation, or am I in nomans land between hp and MS?

    Help, please.

    You are the very welcome.

From any PC which is come with W8 or newer, there is no more stickers product key.

Which was imposed in another attempt to reduce the illegal use of the product on the other PC OEM keys, which is a violation of the rules on the OEM licenses Microsoft PC manufacturers.

The key that you received from the Belarc Advisor is one who is encrypted in the BIOS, and it is only good for your PC.

The other problem is that the key cannot be used to activate a non - OEM version of W8.1.

For example: you can download and make W8.1 installation of Microsoft support about the same way you just did to W10 installation media.

The difference is the installation of W8.1 media that you downloaded will not work with OEM product key that you received from the Belarc Advisor.

You need an OEM Setup disk to work with OEM product key.

Personally, I think it's terrible, but that's what has Microsoft done.

In other words, if your OEM recovery disks don't work, you are flat out of luck, unless you buy an OEM of Windows 8.1 version.
