  • How to move files between folders in Lightroom 3?

I would like to move a file from one folder to another one of Lightroom 3 (do not discuss why). I searched the net but couldn't find the answer (maybe I missed it). When I click on a photo in the grid view and then drag and drop this file into another folder in the folder Panel (for the move), a small sign more (copy) appears and a copy of the file is placed in the second folder. If I try to delete the photo in the original folder (for the move), two copies of the file are removed. I tried pressing all kinds of keys on the imac but unable to get the move to work. Ideally, I would like to move a group of pictures but can not move even one. Does anyone know how to move files between folders in Lightroom 3?

  • How to move iTunes to support SSD drive on secondary disk files

    Hello

I think the title pretty much everything said. My SSD drive app fills and although I have three drives in my desktop Mac PRO somehow the artwork & mobile apps are like 20 gigs. The music files are in a secondary drive. What is the best way to move all the files to support the HUGE secondary disk so I don't understand all of a sudden the dreaded exclamation point?

    Thank you

    Enio

In essence, you must keep the support files in the folder as the iTunes music files, then let iTunes knows where they are located.

It is better than the iTunes folder everything will be moved to the external drive, not just the music and media files. The link below is instructions on how to do it properly. You "partially" here, but you should still be able to follow them, to make the move.

  • How to move files from frostwire to msdia windows player music library

How can I move my music library of frostwire to windows media player so I can burn it to a disc?

    Hello

    1. what operating system is installed on the computer?
2 have you tried to move the music from frostwire to Windows Media Player files?
    3. What is the file extension or the format of the music files?

If you use Windows Media Player 12, it monitors your music library so that you don't have to manually add music to Windows Media Player to read.

To add a folder to the music library, simply right click on folder that you want to add, select include in library, and then select the library you want to add the file (in this case music).

Now, when you open Windows Media Player, it will look for this music folder and add it to the media library.

    Follow these steps:

Step 1: manually transfer music from Windows Media Player:
    a. open Windows Media Player.
    b. go to the drop down "File" menu and select "open".
    c. Select the music that you have downloaded from Frostwire.

Step 2: Configure Frostwire to transfer music automatically
    a. open the Frostwire application.
    b. click the "LimeWire" drop
    c. Select 'Préférences' from the menu. Another window will open, allowing you to browse the Frostwire preference different options.
    d. click on 'Save' to display the various options to save files once they have been downloaded from Frostwire.
    e. click the "Browse" button and locate your computer music folder used to store songs for your Media Player.
    f. highlight the folder that you want to put your Frostwire downloads to and click on the button 'open '. The window will close once your selection has been made.
    g. click "Apply" in the menu "Preferences". It stores any changes you have made.

From a post by Rehman F.

Here are the steps to change the ownership and permissions of files and folders:

    1. right click on the file or folder, click Properties, and then click the Security tab.

    2. click on advanced and then click the owner tab.

    3. click on edit and then do one of the following:

    ·    To change the owner to a user or group that is not listed, click other users and groups, and in the box type
the object name to select (examples), type the name of the user or group, and then click OK.

    ·    To change the owner to a user or a group is listed in the change owner to box, click the new owner.

    4. If you want to take ownership of the contents of the folder, select the replace the owner of sub containers and objects check box.

    5. click OK and then click Yes when you receive the following message is displayed:

You are not allowed to read the contents of directory folder name. You want to replace the directory
permissions with permissions granting you full control?

All permissions will be replaced if you click Yes.

Note folder_name is the name of the folder you want to take charge.

    6. click on OK and then reapply the permissions and security settings that you want for the folder and its contents.

    Additional considerations

7· An administrator can take ownership of any file on the computer.

8· Affecting the ownership of a file or a folder might require that raise you your permissions using user access control

    I hope this helps.

  • How to move files from resources in Eclipse?

I'm restructuring the code and I would like to move a resource file (RRC, HR) existing to another package.

Drag / drop the files in the Package Explorer or Navigator do not work. While it creates copies of the original files in the new location and seems to remove the existing files, at the next restart of Eclipse, the original files are still there and they are used in construction rather than those that have been copied to the new location.

I know how to create and use new resource files. My biggest problem is to get rid of the original resource files. I can't find documentation on what settings or the configuration file has the paths of the original files in them.

    I use Eclipse JDE plug-in version 1.0.0.67.

Someone at - it a recipe for moving the files of HR/DRR successfully in Eclipse?

When you drag and drop the files, the package statement at the top of the .rrh file not updated automatically as it does for .java files.  You must do it manually.

Open the .rrh file in a resource editor, click on the Options button and change the package field in the pop-up window.

Also, I can't put music in my music files, however, once I know how to transfer to my new Win 7 computer where would I put my Real Player downloads, Favorites Fire Fox, so they find themselves in the right place. I tried the Itunes file to transfer from the external hard drive to the new computer where I had downloaded Itunes and it did not work.

    I appreciate any assistance.

    Thank you

You can use the copy / paste command to copy your files from the external hard drive to the folders such as Documents, pictures, videos in Windows 7.

When you copy and paste a file, you make a copy of the original file that you can then modify independently of the original file. If you copy and paste a file to a different location on your computer, it's a good idea to give it a different name, so that you'll remember which file is new and which file is the original.

To copy and paste a file:

    1. Open the location that contains the file you want to copy.

    2. Right click on the file and then click on copy.

    3. Open the location where you want to store the copy.

    4. Right-click on an empty space within the location and then click on paste. The copy of the original file is now stored in the new location.

    5. Select multiple files or folders

There are several ways to select multiple files or folders.

      • To select a consecutive group of files or folders, click the first item, press on and hold down the SHIFT key and then click the last item.

      • To select multiple files or folders that are near each other, drag the mouse pointer to create a selection around the outside of all the items you want to include.

      • To select nonconsecutive files and folders, press on and hold down the CTRL key and then click each item you want to select.

      • To select all files or folders in a window, the tool bar, click on organize, and then click Select all. If you want to exclude one or more items of your choice, press on and hold down the Ctrl key and then click on the items.
