  Hi all, I'm new to APEX and have a query.
  
  I have installed APEX on my local machine, create a workspace and added a few users to roles.
  
  I'm creating an application, similar to a library application, where I have a table that stores information of books (BOOK_ID, BOOK_NAME, etc.). I would like to create another BOOK_USER table with two columns BOOK_ID and USER_ID. BOOK_ID refers to the BOOKS table and I want to USER_ID to refer to the table that stores the information of the users of the workspace I use. Data entry would be a page that has two LOVs, one for the name of book (using BOOK_ID as value) and another for the user name (USER_ID, or another field APEX uses to store the ID of the user). I can do in APEX? I found ways to access and authenticate a user to a page, but how to get the data of all users in the workspace? In other words, how to get all the usernames in a LOV?
  
  As I am new to APEX, I would appreciate if anyone can guide me through the steps, or posting links to the tutorial, etc.

  I think you can do this by querying APEX_WORKSPACE_GROUP_USERS.

  If nothing else works you can try this however I would use as a last resort.

  IE - Tools - Options - Advanced Options - Internet Security Section - clear the check box enable memory
  Protection to mitigate the attacks online - APPLY - OK close and restart IE

  I want my Documents folders users to be on a different disk for Windows. How can I select where Vista puts these, please?

  Just to be clear, immediately after a clean install, I want to be able to tell Vista to put all the files 'mobile' for all users (including users created later) on drive D: (leaving Vista is on the traditional C: drive).

  It seems easy to do XP if long ago, since I did it and also in a certain os 'free' ending with X. Am, I missed something, or is it really true that on Vista I actually change the location of several folders separately for each user?

I have a user profile that has downloaded Windows 7 additional topics, but when you go to control panel, desktop and customizations from another user, all new themes aren't there. I want to keep things clean and tidy and to minimize the disk space. Does take each user to download Windows 7 themes to their profile or can there be a central location for all users to choose what topics they want to apply and change? If yes how to make them accessible from the Control Panel, desktop and personalization option?

  Download the .themepack file and open it with WinRar or 7-Zip. Extract the contents of a folder (accessible by all users)
  Open the theme file and update the paths to the resources accordingly. (By default, the desktop background and other parameters point to %UserProfile%)

• How can I change my default save HDD to my FAVORITES and DESKTOP files (I want to always work out laptop for these two files)?

  I travel a lot and always had problems with what files and update my portable media player. Finally, I feel I have the solution and until now it works fine except for two files. I have only about 8 files/important things I work on quite regular, then now, I set up the files on my laptop and managed to get them to be the main 'saved' from my office. In this way, when I go, all I need to do is to make a back-up of EXACTLY what is on my laptop and here I am. [I used to work on my desktop and I must then transfer the files to my laptop when I would need to travel, but inadvertently, is I would like to work on a file on my desktop before I left (but after the transfer) and when I got home from my trip that I would not forget to transfer the portable desktop files but would open and work on a desktop file before realizing that I] did not transfer.  So it would be a nightmare to have to compare each file to copy / paste new entries of the desktop and laptop to get a REAL current, updated file. Now I am working just on the laptop at work, and then on a trip (just have to make backups of a 8 files). My only two problems are that for the life of me, I can't find how to have FAVORITES and save on the laptop instead of the OFFICE desktop computer. Please tell me step by step how I do drive (portable) M be my default save to FAVORITES, and OFFICE to make the perfect solution for my high travels. Thank you

  I was having the same problems and this message is used to solve this problem

  (1) the correct syntax for the activation of the Administrator's

  NET user administrator / Active: Yes

  Notice, there is no space after the slash

  (2) that works, I logged as administrator.

  I could just go in the folder, click on security, to change users, to remove the

  (3) now, I did run in which inherit permissions errors, here's what I did to get around that
  In the Security tab, select ADVANCED security features, find the user to EDIT the PERMISSIONS
  Highlight all users, EDIT, all DENY options to checked, will APPLY, you receive a warning about using the DENY option, just OK, OK OK, return to the Security tab.   NOW, come on in, user of the IDE and you should be able to remove this

  (4) another thing, make sure that the is not owner on any of the folders.  I've changed them all to someone else, but be careful, that could spoil you

  first seems simply place the new record in the current location in the location of the project. you could make a new bin called VO and open for registration for the first place in this tray. You can also open the voice more bin as a new tab in the Panel, with this active prior to registration and then switch to bin panels to return to the regular/last location.
