  Here are some tips to help you get started.  It all depends on the terms that you use for your search.  For the first, I would use "adobe air browse file."  For the second, I start with only a variation as "adobe air download file" and then adjust according to the first results.

  I found the code snippet below into an example, but I can't recreate the color box on the block diagram using LV 8.6.  I can generate a color of the front box and then change to a constant on the block diagram, but I wouldn't be able to insert a color area directly from one of the palettes on the block diagram?

• buckle hidden block diagram?

  Recently a VI I have worked for a period of time started to run slowly.  A large (5-7 seconds) delay occurs after I connect my hardware target before the VI continues processing.  I'm trying to understand why, so I made a copy of my project and began to remove tabs with a lot of indicators in order to track down the precise cause.

  That did not work, so I tried to pause execution during the delay of the program.  I expected to see highlight in an active area code, but instead, it is showed in the figure:

  

  The black outline flashes during execution paused.  Once separated I did, there was much smaller black box in the lower right corner... in other words, between the 2 times, it is as if it is highlighted on a loop with a stop command in the lower right corner.

  Also note that the horizontial and vertical scroll bars are completely to their extreme.  It is an area of the block diagram that I do not at all.  In other words, if I scroll manually on this same area of the code, there is nothing there.  In other other words, it of like exeuction program is stop and highlighted to a region of code that is not yet visible.

  I know it is possible to hide the objects in the front, but is it possible that there is a code of block diagram which is hidden?  What can I do to understand what it is that is highlighted as shown above, when I hit the break?

  You can do a cleaning of block diagram (but not record) to see ifanything was hidden.  I would do that, especially if I inherited code.  I saw subVIs hidden behind the case structures and other things like that.

  Did you restart LabVIEW after you rename the file labview.ini?

  There is an option (Tools... options...... general façade... 'Open the editor control with double click').

  It always seems to be set in your case.

  I am currently trying to use a LabVIEV VI as a simple sequencer: several (very slow) actions must run one after the other. Each action is represented by a Sub - VI, some actions are executed several times. My task is to view the Subvi somehow executing.

  My first intention (just manipulate the icon of the VI running with 'Icon.Get VI as Image data' / 'Icon.Set VI of Image data' invoke nodes) has failed, because it changes all instances of the VI icon.   My current approach is to use an image of the block diagram (with "VI: block diagram: get resized Image ' call method) in a picture of the front panel control and working within this control. But for this I need to know the position of the icon of the VI running. I know that I can assess the limits and Position via the properties GObj, but how to find the VI running (note that a VI can be installed several times on the block diagram, so the name of the VI is not unique)? IMHO the easiest way might be if a VI might find its icon on the block of the appellant diagram itself when it is run...

  It is clear that this position is not yet the position on the photo, but this conversion is a small piece of work...

• How to run several programs simultaneously on the same block diagram

  Hi all

  I want to run three instruments simultaneously on the same schema. One is a control position for linear drives, other is an optical micrometer and the third is a digitizer card. When using tabs of the controls, the linear actuator Vi is the only thing that seems to work (confirmation on the front panel) but the optical micrometer show no indication on the front panel, but runs in background. I used a tab control to consume less space on the front panel. Someone can help me solve this problem where I can carry several bolts on a single diagram and could even see on the front panel. I enclose my VI.

  I can't open your VI, but in general; Either you use a loop with all the instruments in the same loop, or separate loops each with no wires between them that forces the execution order. You have none of this?

  Tab control is purely visual, and has nothing to do with the execution.

  I have an old and dirty VI which runs automatically when opened. I don't see the block diagram because when I stop it, LabVIEW stops. There is probably this function of 'evil' LabVIEW to stop at the end.

  Is there a way to avoid this behavior?

  The VI wrote some time in LabVIEW 7.0.

  I'm trying to find a way to scroll from left to right with the mouse when you program in the block diagram.  I found that if I hold down the Ctrl key and scroll with the wheel of the mouse while on a case statement, it will travel cases.  With no pressure on the buttons from scrolling with the mouse wheel will allow me to scroll vertically, but how to scroll horizontally?  Thanks for the help.

  In LabVIEW 2010, I have 16 indicators of chain on the front panel. I can't have the label for each Visible on the front panel, so I turned it off. But in the block diagram, I need distinguqish one of the other, so I need to make the label (name) visible.

  In the block diagram, if I select indicators Sting all together and go to properties and make the label visible, it makes visible labels on the front but not visible in the block diagram. What good is that?

  Right-click on the terminal of BD and make visible > labels.

  It probably will be the FP control show its label as well.  Then go to the FP control, right-click and go to Visible > labels and uncheck the box.

  The terminal of the comics will have a label, and control of the FP will not.
