How to pass the value?

Hello.. I'm creating an application of streaming, in which I have a list field in a screen like this...

1

--------

2

--------

3

--------

and when the item 1 is selected means a url must be passed to the video player...

I created the list field screen in a package and a video player in other package... but I do not know how to pass the value of the field from the list to the player... Help, please... its URGENT...

You can get the index selected by the listname.getSelectedIndex () method and compare that value with Vector data (data store URL) .that you will give a correct value from the URL and pass it.

  • How to pass the value of the item Application Javascript function.

    Hello

    I have the JavaScript in the properties attribute of the HTML Form element

    I'm on page 1 and passing the value of the item page P1_DEPT_NO. It is perferctly working very well and I am able to get the exact value of the element on the page
    onchange="javascript:function1($x('P1_DEPT_NO').value);"
    I'm on page 1 and passing the value G_DEPT_NO of the Application element .
    The problem here is, I don't get the point of Application inside the javascript function value.
    I tried to use alert(); and it gives me the undefined value
    onchange="javascript:function1($x('G_DEPT_NO').value);"
    I just want to know, How to pass the value of the Application in Javascript element.

    Thank you
    Deepak

    Deepak,

    I'm not a Javascript expert, but the suggestin I did was because the javascript is a case-sensitive... language and thats why onChange is not the same thing as onchange.
    Not sure if this is causing the problem.

    Application elements not associated with a page and have therefore no properties user interface.
    So, as mentioned in another post, the rendering would not work for the elements of the application.
    If it is for a single item, used only on this page, you might create a hidden page element and use it fo your goal

    If you want to keep watching objects application and AJAX, this page contains examples of using AJAX to solve problems like the one you mentioned.

    Hello

    I'm on OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1.

    I have the following problem.

    I have DISCOVERED called analysis. It has just a column with the result. Simple. Assume that the answer is 2500

    I have another scan which has two other columns, namely GOLD and LOANS. I want to calculate the total DISCOVERED + GOLD + READY.

    That's why I need to pass the value of 2500 of the first analysis of the second analysis via a variable.

    I can not add all three of them in the same analysis there are various filters for OVERDRAFT, and the application of these filters on the GOLD and LOANS gives the desired result. I tried to add filters in the column of the overdraft, but that doesn't seem to work.

  • How to pass the value to query LOV of rows in the table.

    simple table on the page of the ofa:

    col1 col2
    ABC lov-activated
    PQR lov-people with disabilities
    MNO lov-activated

    Col2 is lov and turned under condition if it meets certain conditions. I am capable of until.
    How to pass values in col1 to the co of lov lov query?

    Help, please
    Thank you

    Hello

    You can pass the value to LOV in this way in a region of the table.

    col1 col2

    DEPTNO empname (Lov field)
    1 lov1
    2 lov2

    requirement: lov1, you will need to pass the value of deptno 1.

    If deptno is message style text then you need to create a value of the deptnoFormValue with the attribute in the base page table area, and the same instance of vo.

    danslechamp empname lov

    fields of lov region:

    EmpName,
    DEPTNO,
    and deptnoFormValueinLov

    lov mappings: a first return to the basic page.

    a second part of the criteria

    Point lov region: deptnoFormValueinLov
    Return article: -.
    Point of criteria: deptnoFormValue
    Required: true
    Query programmatically: true

    Now create a controller for the region of Lov

    the code example is:

    Import oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAApplicationModule;
    Import oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAViewObject;
    java.util.Dictionary import;

    in the process request:

    OAApplicationModule m = pageContext.getApplicationModule (webBean) (OAApplicationModule);
    Dictionary passiveCriteria = pageContext.getLovCriteriaItems ();
    String deptno = (String) passiveCriteria.get ("deptnoFormValueinLov");

    System.out.println ("org code in controller of lov is" + orgcode);

    OAViewObject vo = (OAViewObject) am.findViewObject ("view instance of lov");
    vo.setWhereClause ("Organization_code =" "+ deptno +" ' "");

    System.out.println ("request after adding where clause." + vo.getQuery ());

    hope this is useful

    What do you mean by "I can't pass any parameter"? That you cannot change the signatures of the procedure and function?

    Passage of a parameter is the recommended approach. Including a default value will ensure that programs are backward compatible with existing code that does not it:

    create or replace PROCEDURE AFFICHAGE_PLUVIO_VEILLE (p_rainfall_date in date default null) AS
      CURSOR curs1 is
        select site, nom, clef_var from site_pluviometre
                  where EN_SERVICE = 'OUI';
      stmt number;
    BEGIN
      DELETE FROM PLUVIO_DATA;
      for m in curs1 loop
        stmt := calc_pluvio (m.clef_var, p_rainfall_date);
        INSERT INTO pluvio_data values (m.clef_var, stmt);
      end loop;
        commit;
    END AFFICHAGE_PLUVIO_VEILLE;

    create or replace function "CALC_PLUVIO" (station in NUMBER, p_rainfall_date in date default null)
    return number is
      cumul number default 0;
      rainfall_date date;
    BEGIN
      rainfall_date := trunc(coalesce(p_rainfall_date, sysdate-1));
    WITH RAINFALL AS
    (SELECT DATE1 RAINFALLDATE, VALEUR VALUE
    FROM    EVV_STPL
    WHERE  CLEF_VAR = station
    AND        TRUNC (DATE1) = calc_pluvio.rainfall_date)
    SELECT SUM (TOTO) INTO CUMUL
    FROM (
    SELECT TRUNC (RAINFALLDATE) AS datte,
    VALUE,
    LEAD (VALUE) OVER ( PARTITION BY TRUNC (RAINFALLDATE)
    ORDER BY RAINFALLDATE
    ) - VALUE AS TOTO
    FROM RAINFALL
    )
    WHERE TOTO >= 0
    GROUP BY datte;
    RETURN CUMUL;
    EXCEPTION
        WHEN NO_DATA_FOUND THEN
            CUMUL := 0;
        RETURN CUMUL;
    END;

    This code can be called APEX by:

    AFFICHAGE_PLUVIO_VEILLE(p_rainfall_date => to_date(:p1_date, 'DD-MON-YYYY')); -- change format mask to that used in the P1_DATE item

    Moreover, if the P1_DATE element is the only possible source of another value on the date of the rain, then the value can be referenced directly in the function:

    create or replace function "CALC_PLUVIO" (station in NUMBER)
    return number is
      cumul number default 0;
      rainfall_date date;
    BEGIN
      rainfall_date := trunc(coalesce(v('P1_DATE'), sysdate-1));
    WITH RAINFALL AS
    (SELECT DATE1 RAINFALLDATE, VALEUR VALUE
    FROM    EVV_STPL
    WHERE  CLEF_VAR = station
    AND        TRUNC (DATE1) = calc_pluvio.rainfall_date)
    SELECT SUM (TOTO) INTO CUMUL
    FROM (
    SELECT TRUNC (RAINFALLDATE) AS datte,
    VALUE,
    LEAD (VALUE) OVER ( PARTITION BY TRUNC (RAINFALLDATE)
    ORDER BY RAINFALLDATE
    ) - VALUE AS TOTO
    FROM RAINFALL
    )
    WHERE TOTO >= 0
    GROUP BY datte;
    RETURN CUMUL;
    EXCEPTION

  • How to pass the value of the Timestamp from one Page to another

    From a column report link, I need to pass a DATE (that includes both) form one page to the next. If I use the basic name/value pairs under the section of the column link, the URL stops when it encounters a colon. For example, '2012-05-08 16:38 ' invades as ' 2012-05-08 16 "ยป

    In addition, all values after the colon in the DATE value are removed from the URL.

    I know not why this is happening. This is because oracle sees the ":" and this is a field terminator does not assume.

    How can I work around this problem? I saw the post suggesting the API URL_ENCODE but, I can see someone to call this, or any other code in the section of the link column. I've also seen some people suggest that this be done as a conditional branch. Simularly, I can't find in any case to call the branch section of the link column.

    There must be a way to pass this value, and I can't be the first person to ever attempt this. I am totally stuck and have spend hours on this issue.

    Thank you

    As fac586 said, you wouldn't have this problem if RISKDM2. INTRADAY_VM_CLEARER has a primary key, you can reference instead. Still, can you guarantee that the date will be unique?

    If so, suggested use fac586 of 'YYYYMMDDHH24MI' format mask for the link, but set the value of a hidden point new (say PX_HIDDEN_PARAM_ITEM). The last step then on the page that you are linking, have simply a page process that defines the element of effective date of to_date (PX_HIDDEN_PARAM_ITEM, 'YYYYMMDDHH24MI'). This before the process that brings back the record and after that should work just fine.

    Hello
    I'm new to pl/sql programming.

    Out what "in_report_parameter_id" value comes through the application of service job processor.
    The second IN the parameter values are hard coded into the function.
    I am not able to understand this.
    If the values are hard coded, how to ensure that only the hard coded values are the right ones?
    Please could someone explain?
    I don't really have good idea on how to move the INPUT parameter to the function or procedure

    This is not a conception I would use, but should work if coded correctly. I would probably create a reference text cursor query and use a fetch of open and close.

    You have 2 input parameters, in_report_parameter_id and in_which. I could not find where in_report_parameter_id has been used in the program, but the value passed to in_which is used in the logic of the FI to decide on opening the cursor. After the cursor is opened lines are to be read and possibly the cursor is closed.

    The in_which values are compared to the are hard-coded. It is the programming interface to ensure that the values are the values and the measures taken are also correct. Your program is assuming that if the first 2 values are not met the third listed is the one you want.

    To pass values of entry in a procedure you simply provide the values as a literal or something like variable in the call,

    whatever := get_class_text_str(1,'SELECT');

  • How to pass the value to the java binding to my thru ViewObject variable?

    Hello

    I have a class Impl, that can access my viewObject.

    My View object - request
    Select * from Customer_contact where OrderId =: p_OrderId;

    Here is my link p_OrderId variable.

    Now,.
    I have a method that is exposed as a Web service, from which Impl. The functionality of this method is that it will take a "var_OrderId" (integer) as a parameter.
    He must retrieve the lines of a view object, which has a query as above. Now my doubt is, how to assign this value "var_OrderId" to the link variable 'p_OrderId '.

    Kindly give me the java code that I should use to retrieve the columns of my viewObject, regarding the binding variable.

    Thank you
    Sabarisri. N
    //from VORowImpl
                  getViewObject().setNamedWhereClauseParam("p_OrderId", var_OrderId);
                  getViewObject().executeQuery();

    //form maanged bean
                  DCIteratorBinding dciter;
                  BindingContainer bindings = BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
                  dciter = (DCIteratorBinding) bindings.get("EmpView1Iterator");
                  dciter.getViewObject().setNamedWhereClauseParam("p_OrderId", var_OrderId);
                  dciter.getViewObject().executeQuery();

  • How to pass the value of a text of entry to another discipline?

    I created a text field on the stage and named 'name '.

    Then, to make a text input, I added this code to compositionReady:

    var name_input = sym.$("name");

    name_input.html ("< input type ="text"placeholder =" Enter you twitter handle "/ >");

    This part works fine.

    I put a button and a click action that has:

    SYM.$("nOutput").html (sym.$("Name"). Val());

    to pass what is enetred on 'name' to a tabled text "Nfixation", but it does not work.

    So, how I recover the textual content of "name"?

    Change

    name_input.html (')placeholder= "Enter you twitter handle" / > ");"

    TO

    name_input.html (')title= "Enter you twitter handle" / > ");"

    Add an ID

    name_input.html (')( id = "name"/ > ');

    On your button element, click Manager, add a reference to a variable in the id above, using the jquery selector - in this case his $('#name')

    myValue = $('#name').val ();

    Then change what happened to the html method. in this case, only the variable called myValue

    SYM. $("Nfixation") .html (myValue);
