  This isn't a direct answer to your question.
  However, the general practice is to password protect you the user account(not the e-mail account), so that nobody else can go to your account and mess with your files etc etc.

  Hi you

  There should be a setting in the bios called 'supervisor password' or similar. This password is only to protect against unauthorized access bios. But no password will be asked when starting.

  If you don t this option in the bios, then try to do a biosupdate and then recheck if the option is present after the update.

  FYI to all: this is not a question of security sensitive or confidential, in what the admin page simply duplicate entries of students area of content on page one (so that our admin person can review the content for save/printout/distribution)...so final, even if a student somehow got around the protection of password for the hidden page template for example, no harm no fault, lol.

  Luke is right. If your laptop is installed correctly and that you can use the FN keys you can turn off the touchpad by using the FN + F9 key combination.
